"Ugh..." Larissa groaned a little as she lifted her head up and finally managed to look around. It took her a moment to remember that she was kidnapped by people she didn't recognize. The last thing she could remember was that her whole body had become numb from the beating she received before she lost consciousness again.

She felt slightly dizzy and disoriented, as if she had awoken from a slumber, but I couldn't have fallen asleep. Unlike the first time she woke up, this time her senses are back; she can slightly see the surroundings now, and she is no longer numb. She doesn't know if it is a good thing or not, but the worst thing was that she could now feel the pain from the beating.

She tried to stand up, but to her utter horror, she was unable to move her limbs. She looked down at her arms and saw ropes tied around them tightly. The same had been done to her legs.
