Lar da Anguiné — Abyss

In front of the lake, which was filled with primordial water, was Augusto and Helena. The woman's condition was terrible, she was all hurt and had one of her arms amputated. On the other hand, the angel was at the peak of his health. He emanated a mysterious aura and his black eyes seemed to swallow anyone who stared at him.

— Yes, I don't have the strength to absorb mana from the environment and feed my lineage. Said the woman.

— Strange ... Absorbing mana from the environment is like breathing for me.

— You have a talented human, but your use of magic and mana control is terrible. Said the angel reprovingly.

— To think that everyone in my family praised me for my talent in the field of magical arts. — The woman thought, without answering the angel.

Augusto took the head of the great creature he had just killed and pulled it out of the lake. It was a strange image for him to see. A creature that looked like a man about two meters tall, carrying a monster in the form of a snake more than 20 meters long.

After removing Anguiné's body completely from the lake, the angel touched the snake's blood and inserted some mana. The blood seemed to react to mana and began to gather in the palm of the angel's left hand. The strangest thing was that even the blood that was on the surface of the water began to pool, forming a sphere of condensed blood the size of a tennis ball. Then Augusto said:

— I will present you with a drop of the beast's blood to help you in your recovery and strengthen your bloodline.

Then he touched the blood sphere, and a smaller nail—sized sphere was derived from it. The angel controlled this smaller sphere and sent it towards Helena's mouth. Then he warned:

— Take care when absorbing this blood. Although this monster had battle—oriented instincts, its intellect was low and was driven primarily by desires.

The woman nodded, sat in a meditation position and swallowed the drop of blood ...

— Now it's time to draw the magic circles to perform the offering ritual.

Augusto intended to eat the monster's heart, but not in a conventional way. The beasts had all kinds of impurities in their bodies. And the angel's body was a body close to perfect. He did not want to accumulate the rot of an inferior monster in his cells.

So he thought of performing an offering ritual to absorb the monster's heart. However, this ritual will not be like the others he once did to absorb the energy of the abyssal monsters and which is engraved on the body of the spear he carries with him.

He was about to perform a blood ritual. Rituals in this category transferred energy and life force from one creature to another. The advantage of these rituals is that the ritual operator could choose which characteristics he would like to be transferred.

Anguiné was a monster of great regenerative power, however, due to the vastness of the world, there are several creatures with regenerative powers such as: trolls, hydras, sacred creatures of various types and etc. The hydra in particular, had regenerative powers far superior to Anguiné.

What the angel intended with the ritual was to absorb the life force and obtain the monster's regeneration ability.

After a few minutes drawing the magic inscriptions on the floor, angel undressed and went to the center of the circle that contained the magic words to perform the ritual. Within this circle a hexagram and some other drawings of incomprehensible shape were also drawn.

Augusto then bathed the words written on the floor with the monster's blood and then bit the tip of his right thumb, creating a small cut. Small drops of grayish blood dripped from this cut and were as dense as diesel.

He concentrated the mana in his left hand and moved in the air as if he were pulling something. The creature's body moved and its mouth opened, revealing a reddish heart that was about 1 meter in diameter.

The angel positioned the monster's heart in front of them and both were perfectly at the center of the ritual. He sang the mystical words:

"May your blood and your flesh

May your power and your will kneel relative to me

I, the forgotten by the Light, command to give his body to me

You, little creature, come to be the food of this one who commands you. "

Then the blood seemed to take the form of shadows and fire, and the black flames enveloped and consumed the beast's heart, forming a small black dot that emanated an impressive energy. The angel held this little black dot and swallowed.

— The snake must have lived at least a few centuries of life. The vital power contained in the heart is rich and I already feel the energy flowing like a great waterfall through my body.

— I will never get sick of the feeling of getting stronger and stronger. It is as if I am fulfilling my soul's deepest desires and increasingly freeing myself. Said the angel.

The ritual constantly strengthened the angel's body and his heartbeat was like that of his swords colliding. A sharp pain hit Augusto's chest and his eyes started to bleed, as well as his nose and ears.

— HAHAHAHAHA! THIS IS IT, THIS IS THE FEELING I LOOK FOR!

The angel's body began to swell and grow rapidly and he lay on the ground and squirmed in a fetal position. His face showed the most complete madness.

— After fifteen hundred years being a slave to a despot, the time has finally come for my first ascent.

Ascension is the process by which some magical creatures after accumulating vital force and magical power. Magical Will and constant exposure to mana cause the body to undergo a process of mutation. Then, changes occur so that this body can accommodate these powers more appropriately.

— I thought that by absorbing the creature's heart, I would only obtain vital power and regenerative ability. This is an opportunity that I cannot miss!

Then Augusto began to concentrate his mind and imagine the fusion of the elements of fire and darkness.

— I will create a flame that reaches that restricts, curses, and that can take all forms. This call will have the destructive power of fire that burns the battlefields and that subdues my enemies and those who wish me to restrain myself.

The angel's mouth and eyes gave off fire, but not just any fire, it looked evil and had a bluish color. And the most impressive thing is that this flame did not emit heat, but an indescribable cold.

And his body kept changing at an indescribable speed! The feather on its wings began to change color, becoming more and more gray and a new pair of wings grew under the original wings. Augusto now had two pairs of majestic gray wings.

Close to his body, mysterious scriptures appeared to solidify in mid—air and mysterious eyes levitated around him.

Purgatorium Ophanim appears to be a mutation of the original Ophanim who have great wisdom. The lineage awakened by Augutus was more oriented towards battle and war.

— The changes are incredible! It's like I don't know my own body!

— This power! This wish! I need to quench my thirst!

The angel opened his eyes and looked at the woman who was sitting in a meditation position. His vision burned with desire, and he seemed to see every detail of the woman's body and soul.

Helena had also finished absorbing the drop of blood she had received from the angel. His arm had regenerated and dead skin had been expelled from his body. His muscles were stronger and his eyes were brighter than ever.

When she awoke from her meditation, she found the angel fired in front of her.

— He aroused a bloodline naturally!

— He's the most beautiful creature I've ever seen! — she said while feeling a wave of heat that invaded her body.

The angel observed her and said:

— Woman, I can see to the bottom of your soul and I understand your desires.

— Today you witnessed my evolution as a being. And I am also giving in to desires.

— Let us then let our desires come true and let us perform the carnal conjunction.

The woman could not find answers ... It seemed that the angel had revealed her deepest desires and dreams. Her legs weakened and she lost her powers of response.

The angel flew towards her and took her in his arms. His also hugged the woman and they kissed deeply ...
