"How is he doing?" Jin-A implored a nurse the moment she stepped out of the theatre.

"He will be fine. Just calm now," The nurse assured her before hurrying off to make the doctor's bid.

"You should probably go home before dad returns," Jin-A told her mother, sitting by the hospital reception sobbing quietly.

"You should come with me. I can't leave you here," Madam Kang suggested making Jin-A shake her head.

"As Tan rightly said, he is in this condition because he took a bullet for me. The least I can do is make sure he is fine," Jin-A told her mother quietly and turned her face to the side when she noticed people were beginning to recognize her.

"Just go home. I will return after I'm sure he is okay," Jin-A assured her mother.

"I will send a driver to get you clean clothes you can change into while you wait," Madam Kang said before leaving Jin-A.
