JJK Fanfic Placeholder Name
(This Fanfic is currently W.I.P., as I am still rereading the source story all the way through whilst taking notes to hopefully ensure I get nothing wrong...) (Currently at near start of Shibuya, so many maps needed)
A Fanfic in which a small change is made to the original story of Jujutsu Kaisen, through the existence of new character, who is the protagonist of this Fanfic, being Shusei Ayame-gai who will go to Kyoto Jujutsu Technical a year before the story originally starts. The existence of Shusei will bring further changes as the story progresses, until the development of the story is almost entirely different.
Shusei possess some fragmented memories of a previous life, while nothing personal remains, educational information and information from entertainment remains, including certain memories about something called Jujutsu Kaisen (they do not remember that it is fictional), however, the memories are unclear, often missing core details, especially those of the identities of the people in the memories, and unless prompted with something connected to the memory then Shusei will not be aware of the memory to begin with (more details in Fanfic).
Shusei is in a unique situation, being from a smallish sorcerer family, with a somewhat long lineage, he has been born with an Inherited Innate cursed technique, and yet cannot use it, due to what is presumed to be a Heavenly Restriction (the cursed technique is still engraved in Shuseis body, he just cannot activate the technique). While the Heavenly restriction prevents Shusei from using his innate cursed technique, it also appears to have granted him endless cursed energy, as may also have granted a very high potential cursed energy output, as well as talent for cursed energy manipulation, although this may just be due to natural talent.
While Shuseis body contains endless cursed energy, he can only output as much cursed energy as his cursed energy output at the time allows, furthermore, due to Shusei having endless cursed energy and not limitless (small distinction), his cursed energy is not overflowing, and so their is no need for his body to automatically perform reverse cursed technique.
The main character concept for Shusei is the exploration of an alternative occurrence of events for Jujutsu Kaisen, as a result of a character that is meant to explore the limitations of power that can be achieved through Jujutsu without an innate cursed technique, something that many characters are reliant upon for their power, with Gojo stating that it makes up 80% of a sorcerers power, and with all the strongest sorcerers having powerful innate cursed techniques. The greatest focus will be on specifically applications of reverse cursed technique/positive energy, in part due to my fascination with it, but also because I feel that it isn't used to its full potential in the series, almost always just being used for healing, despite it being shown to have other ways of being used.
Leveraging endless cursed energy in interesting ways instead of just spamming a cursed technique, through utilising Shikigami, barriers, and more types of cursed techniques that can be performed by any sorcerer will be core to Shuseis fighting style and utility.

Also, feel free to ask about any details of the story, as I like talking about how and why things are working the way they are, and I have spent about the last 2 months researching how everything in Jujutsu Kaisen works down to the specific details, so I feel confident I can answer questions about the power system. Furthermore, I will be making custom images, so If you think something that happened in the Fanfic could do well with a custom image, feel free to suggest it, and I may try and make an illustration for the scene (cannot promise it will be as good as Geges).
