Religious Takeover

(Elder)"It's not like we haven't tried to do something like that before, it's just very hard to fight an established religion in a town."

(Andrew)"This town is expanding it doesn't have a religion yet, we can seize the chance elder."

(Stranger1)"He is right, we won't need to wander aimlessly across the world. We should do it!"

Andrew proposed the plan of making themselves the religion of the town, by healing people they could recruit them into it. It was his idea of doing a charity or good service to the community, it was founded on his previous worlds views.

(Elder)"We just have a shed, if we are to do this we must have an established facility for us to gather."

(Andrew)"I have a plan for that, we can copy their method of giving food to workers who volunteer and do it with healing them. Just once a week or something like that. We could also offer food to those who want it for work, that way we get the most amound of people."

The elder was pondering it over as the four apprentices besides Andrew kept pushing the idea, the elder sighed and made up his mind.

(Elder)"You all must labor the hardest for this, to cure so many would require vast quantities of animals, are you willing?"

(Stranger1)"We are elder! We will do anything for the sake of finding a homeland!"

(Stranger2)"Just say what must be done, and we do it elder."

Nodding at the comments he spoke seriously, with a firm look.

(Elder)"The first thing we must do is spread the word, each you of go in a direction of town and speak with the people. Do not speak of religion only that we desire to hire people for healing and food, we can preach to some workers."

They discussed the plan details a little a bit more before turning in for the night, they were going to strike in the morning. They already know where they would build it, it will be north where there is barely anyone and it is walled off, the structure they will build is massive but it won't be impossible.

They gathered up all the previous workers on the wall, and about fifty more people the next day and started up the project, the first goal was to build a massive underground area. So they gathered up all the shovels and picks for mining and set off to dig up an area the size of a football field.

(Stranger1)"We had to demolish two houses and already healed their sicknesses to pay them for it, we can only expand downward now. There won't be enough animals to buy out more land for healing."

The elder was in charge of everything in his new shed near the job site, as they all received orders managing it. They settled with making the massive underground area two floors deep with the bottom one being high in pitch on the ceiling. The town knew it was changing but few realized how big it was changing, even the volunteer security group helped them build it wanting to learn more about them.
