Eternal Rebirth: Descending Abyss

It was pitch dark when a long, drawn-out "Pweesh" sound suddenly flashed through the room. People jumped, startled by the unexpected noise. Some screamed while others tried to cover their ears, unsure of what was happening.

For a moment, the room was plunged into chaos as people tried to make sense of the situation. But then, as suddenly as it had appeared, the sound was gone, replaced by a faint humming noise.

"What was that?" someone shouted, trying to be heard above the noise.

"I don't know," another person replied, their voice shaking with fear. "It sounded like some kind of warning or alarm."

"Everyone, calm down," a voice boomed, trying to restore order. "We don't know what's going on, but panicking isn't going to help. Let's just stay together and try to figure out what's happening."

As the people in the room took a deep breath and tried to compose themselves, the humming noise grew louder, until it was almost deafening. And then, just as suddenly as it had started, it stopped, leaving the room in complete silence once again.

"Tutorial has started"

As people looked around, confused and disoriented, they saw about 100 people of all ages gathered inside a seamlessly endless room. Children and old grandpas were among the group, all of them seeming unsure of what was happening. Many of them panicked and shouted for their loved ones, but then a loud voice boomed throughout the room:

"Welcome to the new world!" the voice exclaimed. A small, winged yordle flew into view, introducing itself as Orange and stating that it would be their guide. "This room may seem endless, but don't worry, it's just an illusion created to prepare you for the challenges ahead. You've all been chosen to be part of a special program, a program that will give you the opportunity to make a difference in this new world."

Orix awakens to a familiar, yet unfamiliar place. The silence is only broken by the sound of his own shallow breathing. As he comes to, he experiences a moment of disorientation before the memories of his previous life rush back.

"how many times is this…" Orix whispers to himself, his voice filled with a sense of melancholy. The words seem to hang in the air, The mood is somber and oppressive, as if the weight of the world is bearing down on him.

Orange's voice broke the silence, startling some of the people in the room. "From now on, everyone will be 'graded' based on your performance in the next 30 days. In this realm, you will receive 'stats' accordingly."

There was a moment of confusion as people tried to process what Orange had just said. "What do you mean by 'graded' and 'stats'? How will our performance be measured?" someone asked.

Orange chuckled, a mischievous glint in its eye. "That, my dear friends, is for you to discover. But I will say this: the higher the score you receive in this tutorial, the higher the reward and the better your chances for success in the future. And if you perform exceptionally well, you may even have the opportunity to become a 'Chosen One' and ascend to the rank of 'Hero'. The competition will be fierce, and only the strongest will survive."

As Orange spoke, a sense of excitement and nervousness filled the room. People began to whisper to each other, discussing strategies and trying to figure out what was expected of them. The stakes had just been raised, and everyone knew that the next 30 days would be crucial. They would have to give it their all if they wanted to have a chance at achieving the ultimate reward and securing their place in this new world.

Orix cringed at the words of Orange. It was true that the higher the rank, the greater the reward. But Orix knew that the pursuit of such rank often led to the "Bad ending", a fate that he had experienced all too often in his previous lives.

As the people in the room began to process the information that Orange had given them, they started to break off into groups. Some were drawn to charismatic personalities who seemed to have a natural leadership ability, and they gathered around these individuals, looking to them for guidance and support.

Others were more aggressive and territorial, forming small gangs that seemed ready to fight for their place in this new world. Tensions began to rise as different groups jostled for position and tried to assert their dominance.

Orix watched the scene with a mixture of interest and concern. He knew that he couldn't afford to get caught up in the petty squabbles of these factions. He needed to keep his focus on the bigger picture and figure out how he could use these groups to his advantage.

He decided to keep a low profile for now and observe the situation, looking for opportunities to make his move. He knew that he couldn't afford to be too aggressive or confrontational, at least not yet. He would have to bide his time and wait for the right moment.

As Orix scanned the room, his gaze landed on a familiar face - Chronos. Orix remembered hearing stories about Chronos's abilities, which many believed involved some form of clairvoyance or the ability to see the future.

However, Orix knew the truth about Chronos's powers after experiencing them firsthand in one of his previous lives.
