END OF THREAD

Thousands of years ago. There were people back then are using witchcraft for different purposes based on their belief. People believed it was all evil magic or curse. While some people believed it is one of the powers that were gifted by Nature to people to use it for good. Humans ended up fighting each other for their belief, until one powerful wizardess decided to separate the people who perform magic and those who protest against magic. Etherel silvya was the 2nd great granddaughter of Astera sylvia, the most powerful wizardess. Amongst her other 3 siblings she was known as the "weakest one" due to her sealed power. Despite being the weak one among her siblings, her grandmother often spends time with her since her other 3 siblings is busy in their own lives and mission.

Ever since Etherel was a child, she was doing her best to cast a spell since she is from the 1st powerful family of witches. Every day she trained herself. she always meditate to increase her awareness and calm her own mind. she tried potion making, candle magic, glamour magic yet in the end she always failed because of her suppressed energy. One time she tried to 'shift into a reality she made' based on one of her theories about human souls. she named it "Shifting Method". inspired by "lucid dreaming she thought of a harmless and realistic way to be in the reality she desires.

On a winter night. Etherel decided to test her theory for the first time. she took a piece of paper and write down what her desired reality will be: ' a garden, surrounded by flowers... a safe place where i can feel relaxed and peaceful. Where i can also see him...'

Etherel light up the scented white and pink candle, then she placed the piece of paper under the pillow. she laid down in her bed, her arms on her side while her attention focused on her breath.

After 2 hours had passed her soul slowly rose from her body. she then found herself in a garden. . Etherel felt stunned. The Ground she is standing on felt realistic. vines with roses, and other more different flowers has formed a path for Etherel to walk in the brown wooded door in 9 steps away from her. Etherel's eyes shine with shocked yet admiration at the scene in front of her. Fireflies and a few different colors of butterflies appear in the garden, mostly white and blue ones. she felt overjoyed in her heart ' I Successfully shifted into my dream reality!". Etherel felt drawn back to the door that were nine steps away from her. Etherel began to slowly walk towards the door as she was about to reach the door.

{!!!!!} she felt someone grab her wrist. she got transferred back into her reality. her whole body jolts up, then as she turned around, she founds her little brother hold onto her wrist while shaking it gently. Lucas looked up at her and smiled. He cutely called with his tiny voice "sister Ethy!!! it is time to wake up!! you promised to bake me some cookies today!!"

Etherel is in shocked until she heard her little brother's cute voice. she smiled helplessly and gently pinch her brother's soft chubby cheek " ok fine i will rise up now. You should wait for me downstairs." Hearing his sister's response, he nodded then waited for her downstairs.

Etherel sighed as she tried to process what happened moments ago before Lucas woke her up. she took her paper under the pillow. The pictures wrapped inside the paper serves as a visualization for any shifters like her to get into their specific desired reality. Unfortunately, she hadn't seen the person she wanted to see...

Etherel's heart softened and a hint of sadness appear in her eyes...

[ 8 Months had passed]

Few months had passed ever since she last shifted. yet no matter what she does, she ended up failing. Each day she starting to feel more Discourage the longer she spends her time on attempting to shift yet still got no results. Etherel grew exhausted. her eyes have evident dark circles, and her lips turned chapped. She used up all her energy to the point she no longer takes care of her own wellbeing.

The people around her noticed her change of energy. 'She has grown more weaker' Astera thought, as she started to get more concerned for her grand-daughter. She decided to check up on Esther. [ knocked knocked!] " Ethy??? Are you there?", Astera opened the door after hearing no response from her grand-daughter, she thought ' she must be asleep'. Esther was laid down on her bed in a meditative state. Astera have live for long years. So, when she saw her grand-daughter's energy getting weaker as she attempted to shift. Astera immediately stop her from doing unknown dangerous practice that can suck out her life force. She panicked as soon as she saw her grand-daughter's life force getting used for some practice she was unfamiliar yet.

Esther slowly opens her eyes. A headache came along as soon as she got out of her meditative state, which us unusual since its effect is supposed to be relieving her whole body after waking up. Astrea holds Esther in her arms. She looked at her angrily, yet she spoke to her worriedly " what were you doing!!? Do you want to die!!?? What kind of dream magic are you practicing !!??? didn't I told you can't use your energy!! Since it is your remaining support to your body!". Esther looked at her grandmother and was about to reply, then she suddenly felt her body giving up, slowly she became unconscious. Astera panicked and quickly rushes her to the forest of life. A place where she can ask Hera to check up and perform a treatment for her grand-daughter.

3 Weeks had passed ever since she fell unconscious. Astera prohibited her grand-daughter from visiting the library of full of spell books, she forbade Esther from going out from her room for a month, and told everyone should never gave her any materials that are used for spells and rituals. Astera made sure to place two guards outside her door to keep an eye on her. Esther stayed in her room for the past weeks. Feeling her strength come back, she decided to contact her disciple to sneak over to her room and bring the materials that she needs. Osiris followed her orders yet he still couldn't help but feel worried after hearing about his master's condition for past few days. He sighed as he walked inside the door of his master's chambers after knocking down the two guards on her door.

Esther's gaze landed on Osiris as soon as he entered the door. She smiled and spoke " you're here! It is impressive how you knocked down the guards outside my door. Osiris stared at his master and smiled proudly " I already develop my sneak attack skills ever since I became your disciple". Esther laughs slightly as she remembered the first time, she met Osiris.

When Esther was 6 years old, she managed to save a boy from the monsters in the woods. She was strolling in the woods to collect some fruits and herbs that can be used in making potions, then she heard a loud cry of a young boy near the small lake in the woods. She walked over to where the sound came from and found a young boy was being chased by baby serpents in the lake. Little Osiris tried to defend himself against the serpents using a sharp wooded stick to stab the baby serpents that were after him. However, he soon became outnumbered as one baby serpent decide to call over his siblings. Osiris's mother was a warrior, which helped him learn a few surviving skills and fighting skills in case of dangerous situations.

As Esther saw the boy struggling to defeat all the baby serpents that were chasing after him. She grabbed her bow; her eyes were sharp as she found a perfect angle to shoot 3 of the serpents that were after the young boy. Esther's father has thought her how to use a bow whenever he took her in the hunting's competition celebrated each year. [SCREECCHH!!!!] the three baby serpents cry out as they got hit by an arrow. The first one got hit in the head, the other one got hit in the eye, and the last on got hit in the neck. For the other serpents has swarm away while the last one got finished off by Osiris. Esther walked up to the young boy, and softly asked with her tiny cute voice " are you okay??". She approached the boy and checked any injury that he may have. Osiris stared at her with astonishment in his eyes, he responds to Etherel with the same tiny cute voice "w-woah you're cool just like my mother !!" Osiris felt grateful to Esther for helping him. Osiris admired her archery skills and how she silently performs a sneak attack on the serpents despite being a kid like him. After finding now serious injury and just a minor scratch on his knee, Esther opens her little bag and took out her mini band aid. Astrea always reminded his daughter to carry a medicine kit in case of any emergency. Osiris watched Esther gently applied the glowing band aid. Few seconds later Esther took off the band aid from his knee. Osiris looked down on his knee and noticed that the scars has faded away.

[ End of flashback, back to the present]

"Play the shifting sound frequency " Osiris nodded as he heard his master's command. Esther already set the materials in place and prepared for her soul to shift into the reality she wanted.

"Ugh it has been years ever since I started my spiritual journey, and 8 months have already passed ever since the last time I shifted into my dream reality" Etherel grumbled quietly to herself as she felt more frustrated with herself. ' Fine!! this will be my last attempt for today!' Etherel thought as she lay back down on her bed, and slowly close her eyes. she got into a meditative state before attempting to shift her soul into some reality to prove her theory about "shifting realities" to her disciple.

. [ !!!!!!!!!!!!!] woooshh!!~~ The candles flickered wildly, before slowly died down. A strange strong and cold wind blow from the window. "ETHY!!!! what is going on!?? hey wake up!!" Osiris face went pale as he got worried for his master. The strong wind slowly returns to normal. Osiris noticed his master's energy began fading...

[ BANG!] Astera barged into the room as she felt an overwhelming energy coming from the room upstairs. The room was dark and all her grand-daughter's stuff is in a mess. She saw Osiris and hurriedly shout to her men " SEIZED HIM!!!" the guards capture Osiris without hesitation. Astera quickly went over to her grand-daughter whose life force can no longer be felt. Her whole body froze and hey eyes quickly turned red with tears. Astera has already lived for decades and witnessed people die. The moment Esther life force faded away; she knew that her grand-daughter passed away….

After the whole sylvia family the news they all quickly rushed back home. Lucas was crying with Astera as they hold Esther's cold body. Osiris was drowned with grief and self Depreciatingly, tears streaming down his face and he whispered quietly to himself "I am sorry Ethy…. I failed to save you…"

[?????????] Esther slowly opened her eyes and seen an unexpected sight in front of her. "h-huh!? This isn't the garden!!??" she looked around and realizes she seems to be in an odd room…she got out of her bed and felt the cold tiles under her feet. She looked around and saw a black rectangle like mirror in front of her bed. She walked over the screen of the Tv and tapped it gently ' is this a magic mirror???????' she curiously thought.

She felt cold presence coming from her back then saw a strange handsome man seriously looking at her. Suddenly he grabs her wrist tightly and looked at her coldly " I hate your disgusting tricks!" Esther felt shocked as he looks at the unknown man. She stared at him with shocked expression "w-who are you??!!"
