Dean’s P.O.V.

SOLROS Artisan Competition 2020

Dean is currently at a meeting as the SOLROS Artisan competition will be starting in a matter of hours.

SOLROS artisan competition is held every three years. Their main goal is to gather every artist around the world.

The Artist should be known and recommended by their respective company.

There are five participants in the group and every participant should have different skills.

The artist covered in the field of interior designer, furniture designer, fashion designer, painter and jewel designer.

A lot of group of artist are picked meticulously and they are already on the semi-final. That means there are only three remaining groups.

He was bored and wanted to get out but his co-judges are still very active in preparation for the competition.

The judges are all young CEO of a large company. They are also the one who is funding it. When he decided to take a leave that's when the door opens.

“Finally...” He felt that an angel is passing by, it’s quiet for a while.

"Wait, is it an angel or a devil?"

Anyway, he will just pick one and definitely, it is an angel.

“Sir there is a problem.” His head stops as he heard it.

"Well definitely not an angel" so he thought.

“What is the problem?” Ivan said in his usual serious voice.

“One of the artist on the Beager team got in an accident.” At that moment everyone stops at what they are doing.

“What?“ Mr. Ohio.

“Why” Mr. Dante.

“How did it happen?” Dean asked.

“It was a car accident while going to the set. They are requesting if they can have a substitute.” He groaned and touch his head.

"This will cause big changes in the competition. we can not just have a substitute." Mr. Dante said while going back to his seat.

"So what are you saying?. That we have to disqualify their team?" This time it came from Mr. Ohio, who is sitting anxiously.

"That will cause big trouble too. An accident happens and no one wants it to happen, the messenger said that they will have a substitute. Why don't we take a chance?" Ivan said.

Mr. Dante meets the eye of the messenger and ask. "Where is the substitute right now?".

"Sir, they said that she's on the way here."

Mr. Dante just smirk "They have the guts to ask for a substitute when she's not even here?"

"Relax, we are in a crucial moment too and the Beager team compose of promising artist's. It is a shame to not see them in finals, just because of this." Ivan said calmly.

He just sighs at the problem. He checked his wristwatch, fifteen minutes left and the competition will start. Then he stands up.

"Gentlemen, How about let's wait for the substitute until the competition starts. If she's not here before the competition starts. The Beager team will be disqualified. Is that fair enough?." His co-judges fell into silence, weighing what he said.

"Fair enough," Ivan said. Everyone stands up and walk through the door while Mr. Ohio talks to the messenger.

“Tell them that we will accept the substitute as long as the artist arrived before the competition starts.” Mr. Ohio said.

After that, the judges go to their respective place.

They are in a different room and only the big monitor may catch the situation where the competition will be held. The artist substitute is still nowhere to be found and everyone is anxious at the thought of disqualification.

Five minutes before the start he called the other room and signalled the emcee about the disqualification of the Beager team.

“Good morning everyone welcomes to the Solros Artisan Competition, we are sad about the accident of Mr. Skeet, however, the completion has a strict rule of having a five-member in a group and the Beager team is subject to dis----- ”

The emcee stop, as the door open and saw a sexy woman in a rider suit with her helmet on her head. She walked to the center of the room and stop before the stage.

For some reason, his heart beats fast. “What happens?” He can’t believe that his body would react to the sight of a woman. He touches his chest where his heart lies. “Who are you?”

“I'm sorry, I am the substitute and part of the Beager team.” She said clearly despite the helmet she is wearing.

His eyes widened as she heard her voice “Rhianne....”. Luckily no one notices his reaction because they are all looking at the woman on the monitor.

“Ahmmm, Ms. excused me, but can you put the helmet off your head.” She put her helmet out on her head and everybody gasps while his world just stop.

He swallowed and his heart constricts causing his heart to beat fast.

“Judges, may we hear your decision for this matter please?” The emcee asked for their decision.

The matter doesn’t even sink on his head he just stared at her as if afraid the woman will disappear in a matter of seconds. The rest of the Judges allow the woman. She is just focusing on her team, while the four men are communicating through the face and body language.

“Miss, may I know your name?” Her head snap back and smiled.

“Rhianne, Rhianne Condes.” She said with confidence.

“Very well, As per Judges decisions, you are part of the Beagers team. Welcome to the Competition.”

“Thank you very much.” She vowed and joined her group while the three men welcomed her with a group hug.

“You are late, again,” Lillan said, the leader of their group. He really wanted to yell at Rhianne as she smiled shyly at Lillan.

“I am sorry, I just got the text thirty minutes ago.”

“Come here,” Lillan ordered and Rhianne obey and walked in his direction. They meet halfway and hug each other.

“Thank you for coming.” Said Lillan. He is fuming with anger and jealousy. He just wanted to jump from his seat and take that filthy hand away from her.

It pained him much more because even now, he cannot do anything but stare at her from a distance.

Everyone will see it as a normal hug given the fact of how anxious the team were but for him, it is not. She just hugs four men in front of him and she is his long lost girlfriend for pity sake!.

The event started and the challenge is all about making furniture. The materials are in the other room, they have thirty minutes to pick the material.

All they have to do is put a sticker on the material they are needed after they are putting a mark they take a fifteen minutes break and start the process of making the furniture.

On this challenge, only two will go to the finals. A long time had already passed but he still can’t believe that the woman he desperately wants to find came back on her own two feet. He falls for her purity and simplicity and that girl is gone.

The woman he is looking at right now represent a beauty that everyone noticed in a single glance, even with a helmet on she is oozing with sex appeal. Why in a world she is wearing a rider suit that reveals every curve of her body?.

Her decision and action are based on the challenges they are facing are far more direct and fierce than the Rhianne she knows. She is living her dreams, her eyes said it all and she is glowing that everyone in the crowd is talking about her. Now he can’t hide her from the world.

“Why did you leave me?” He asked like an idiot as if she can hear him.

“I miss you so badly.”

“I love you still”

“What will I do?”

The competition took the whole day to finish and the team that will go through the final is The Beager team and The Griffle team.

That night there is a fist that all the production shared and he deliberately ignores people around him just to stalk her. The moment she comes back, she will never have a chance to escape from him.

The moment she walks out on the feast alone, he followed her and when he cannot stand it. He hugs her from behind. She struggles as if her life is on the line but he hugs her tighter. This time she kicked his left foot and left him crying in pain.

“Ahhhhhh!!!" She faced him out of anger and swiftly moved to attack him. Then her body stiffens the moment she recognized him.

“Dean.” It’s just a whisper but it really felt good,

He longed to hear his name from her.
