"Looks like we have a prodigy of magic at our hands right here." Kanon said as he went back inside the house.

The two desperately tried to hide the wand and the fact that they messed with his belongings.

"S-Sir Kanon?! Why are you back so quick?" Damian stuttered on his words, afraid that he would be mad.

Kanon Sokolov ignored them and pulled out a grimoire from hilt and proceeded to open it. He read out a paragraph from the grimoire before closing it and putting it back on his belt.

He kicked his feet off and they were now brimming with sparks of lightning.

Leon, afraid that Kanon would lash out at them because of the wand, stepped in front of Damian and lifted his hands to protect his friend.

But Damian sensed it, he knew that there was something or someone else behind them. Before he could turn around to see who the culprit was, a quick jolt of lightning came from the direction where the Umbra Knights Commander was, flying past the two of them in the bat of an eye.

"I already knew you were here before I had gone out the door." He said with a cold tone, cerulean blue eyes piercing the culprit like daggers.

He held the person by the neck. It was a Lunaseeker, its sharply-edged teeth said it all. And this one was hungry, judging from his constant salivating.

The assailant tried its best to get Kanon's hands off of his neck, but the Commander was not having it at all.

Each attempt of the Lunaseeker at clawing the hands choking his neck was met with a harsh smack on the ground.

The floor was shattered at the sheer impact of it. Leon and Damian ran back to a safe distance, afraid that they would get caught in the commotion.

While Damian was scared out of his wit, Leon grabbed him by the hand and pulled as hard as he could to get his friend to move.

"This is not the time to be scared, Damian!" Leon exclaimed, but even Damian could feel it. Leon's hands were shaking as well as he dragged him to safety.

The seeker's robes got tattered. Kanon jumped off backwards to create some distance between them. "In all the years I have been a member of the Umbra Knights, I've never actually seen you Lunaseekers attack us in our headquarters this head on." He said nonchalantly, as though he was talking to someone who was a fellow human.

What was underneath the robe was a middle-aged man with a scruffy beard and bald head. He had one hand of his on his neck, hyperventilating. While the other was on his hilt, that was when he drew out a dark oak wand of his own.

"T-That is a Lunaseeker…" Damian whispered to himself, but Leon heard it as well.

"Yeah. D-Do you think we should go and get help?" Leon asked.

The seeker clawed off a portion of his skin, causing blood to come flooding out of the wound. "Art of Shezmu: Blood Spikes!" he exclaimed as the droplets of blood made their way straight towards Kanon.

"Ah! So, you are a Shezmu user! How fascinating is that?" the Commander cracked a visible smile as he drew out his wand on the right and his long sword on his left – masterfully cutting the hardened blood in the air before it could reach him. "Are you serious? You guys survive for hundreds of years and hone your sorcery and this is the peak of your magic? How laughable. Hah." Kanon's smile turned into a laughter drenched in the stinging pain of mockery.

Enraged at the Solstice Commander belittling him, the Lunaseekerrushed straight, casting spells while he was mid-air, his other hand swinging heavily – ready for a direct blow on Kanon Sokolov.

Kanon lifted his sword and threw it straight at the seeker, forcing it to change trajectory. "Do not die yet, alright? Since you have already thrashed my house, let us both follow through with it. I will paint these walls red with your vampiric blood." Kanon looked much more of an unhinged beast than this actual monster.

"You are just a meek human! A weakling meant to be feasted upon by our fangs! No matter what kind of magic or arcane arts you might use, you shall always lose at the-" His words got interrupted by something stuck inside his mouth.

He rushed in once again as the seeker stopped mid-air to regain footing and placed his magic wand on the seeker's open mouth.

"And you are a hideous abomination who runs his mouth more than his sorcery. No shouting inside my walls, you got that?" Kanon said that with a straight smile on his face. "Art of Jupiter: Fulgur!" Those would be the last words that this seeker would ever hear as Kanon's wand burst out with a beam of yellow lightning, sending the Lunaseeker shaking from the attack until he succumbed to unconsciousness

The black smoke from Kanon's attack made the two children cough and have difficulty breathing, thus, they opened the door outside.

But what they saw made them step back in horror. There were about fifteen of them, but they were all humans. They wore the same type of black armor that Kanon Sokolov had on.

What startled the two boys, however, was their bloodied wands and swords. Even some of their faces were covered in droplets of blood.

A tall ebony haired woman in her early twenties stepped in front and saluted Kanon. "Reporting in, sir Sokolov!"

"Oh! Sanya! Did you guys take care of the situation already?" Kanon got up and walked up to her.

Sanya nodded her head. She peeked behind Kanon and saw that a burnt Lunaseeker lay on the floor. "You overdid it again, sir. The children here had to watch that happen before their very eyes." She responded.

"No such thing. These two already saw hell with those innocent eyes of theirs. Plus, the guy's not dead yet." Kanon pointed to the seeker still breathing, although barely. He even twitched because of the residue lightning left from Kanon's attack.
