DXD: LPA System

[England: London.]

[Time: 7:30 A.M.]

In a spacious hospital room that was filled with the soft glow of sunlight streaming through the window, a man was sitting beside a woman that was laying on the hospital bed while holding the man's hand.

Just by looking at their faces, it was easy to understand that both of them were nervous.

The room was adorned with colourful balloons, flowers, and a large 'Congratulations' banner hanging on the wall.

The anxious man in his early thirties name was James, with short black hair and red eyes, he wore a faded blue shirt, sleeves rolled up to his elbows, revealing his trembling hand that was holding his wife's hand. His eyes kept darting between the clock on the wall and his wife, Emily, who was laying on the bed wearing a hospital gown.

Emily, a woman in her late twenties with a serene expression despite her discomfort, grips James' hand tightly as another contraction courses through her body. Beads of sweat form on her forehead as she takes deep breaths to manage the pain.

She was a young woman with a fair complexion, bright red hair, and golden eyes that shined brightly even in such a state of mind.

"James it hurts so much." through gritted teeth and pain Emily said.

James held his wife's hand firmly. "Breathe with me, Emily... In... Out... "

Emily nods nervously and mirrors James's deep breaths. James tries to hide his anxiety but fails miserably as tears gather in his eye.

While smiling at his wife, James whispered to his wife. "You're doing great, Em. Just a little longer now."

As James was comforting his wife, a nurse enters the room and checks Emily's vital signs before adjusting some equipment nearby.

The nurse looked at Emily "The doctor will be here very shortly. Soon you'll be holding your little one in your arms."

Emily manages a weak smile before another contraction hits her like a wave crashing against rocks. She squeezes James's hand even tighter as tears well up in her eyes. "I can't do this anymore James, it's too much for me."

"Yes, you can! You're a strong woman, Em. I believe in you! We have fought against lots of supernatural beings, this should be nothing for you."

Emily while in pain glared at James and almost crushed the poor guy's hand by holding it harder. "What do you mean this should be nothing? If you think it's easy then next time how about you be the one that is giving birth? Believe me, I will find a spell and make this come true."

Before James could say anything, The sound of approaching footsteps filled the room as a doctor enters wearing scrubs. He carries an air of calm and confidence.

After a brief talk between the couple and the doctor, they start the birth-giving process.

Dr Carter guides Emily through the process, encouraging her with each push, while James watches his wife going through the pain of giving birth.

Minutes feel like hours as the room fills with the sound of Emily's grunts and the doctor's gentle instructions. Finally, after what seems like an eternity, a cry fills the room - the cry of their newborn baby.

The Doctor holds up a tiny bundle wrapped in a soft blanket and places it on Emily's chest. Tears stream down both Emily and James' faces as they marvel at their creation - a perfect little life they brought into this world together.

"We did it... We have our baby... " Said Emily with an exhausted voice.

James nods "You did great honey." He said with a voice filled with joy and happiness. He leans down and kisses Emily's forehead gently before turning his attention to their newborn child cradled in her arms.

"What should we name him?"

"How about we name him Blade-" Before James could continue Emily's hand descended on his hit and made a loud thud sound.

"Ouch! Why did you hit me?" was what James said before he got another slap from his wife.

"No way I would name my child something like a blade, he's not a weapon but a human, you sword maniac."

James sighed. "I'm sorry. " after pondering for a moment, James had a new name in mind. "What about Xiphos?"

James once again got beaten by his wife. "Do you think I'm that dumb that I won't know that also means Blade?" After a pause, Emily continued. "How about we name him Kaiser?"

"Sure. It's not like I can complain about it, once you choose something there's no way I can change your mind."

James then looked at his son. "Welcome to your life my dear son, Kaiser, I hope you live a long life full of joy." He wished for his son, unbeknownst of the fact that his son's life won't go as he had wished it would go.

-------------- 7 Years later ------------------

In a dimly lit room, filled with scattered toys and a small bed against the wall. A boy around 7 years old, lies awake in a puddle of blood, with a corpse next to him, staring at the ceiling. His eyes are dull and emotionless as he was processing what has happened.

Just a few hours ago, He was asleep in his bed without any worry in the world. Ready to wake up and have yet another normal day with his parents.

But in the middle of the night, due to a loud sound, he woke up. He tried to sleep but The noise didn't go away. It couldn't as the noises were just getting louder and wilder, as if a fight was happening.

The Boy got out of his bed in search of the source of all the noises that were coming. He began walking towards the door till he heard the voice of his father "Emy, You take Kaiser with you while I'm holding them off."

"I can't do that James, what about you? We both know you can't hold on that much, they have used a spell to weaken us."

"I know honey, But think about it. This way Kaiser can at least have one of his parents with him and watch him grow up and look after him."

Kaiser wanted to walk out of the room to know what was going on, but before he could take a step, he felt a high amount of pressure. Walk? He could barely breathe as he still was feeling the pressure.

"Shit! Emily quickly check on Kaiser, this amount of mana pressure is dangerous for him." James yelled loudly as he also felt the pressure.

Kaiser was about to lose consciousness before an aura covered him and made the pressure he was feeling fade away. looking upwards, he was met with his mothers face that was kindly looking at him. Around the room, a dimly lighted aura was cast that was shielding them from the pressure.

Once again before Kaiser could ask what was going on a man's sickening laughter stopped him.

The man had blonde hair and a mid-tier face that wasn't worth paying attention to. He was standing in front of Kaiser and Emily and looking down at Kaiser with greedy eyes. "Well well well, look what we have here. A perfect sample for the holy sword project."

Emily was shocked as the man had easily by passed the defence she had set upped "How did you enter the barrier!?"

"You should know by now that your powers are not as strong as they used to be, after all, we're tempering with them. And as a magician you should know that teleportation magic is a thing. Now let's stop wasting time, Give me the kid and I might consider letting you go. As for your husband, even though he's a master swordsman, without any support he's nothing in front of my man, so he should be dead by now."

"M-mom W-what is he saying... Is dad dead?" Kaiser asked with a shaky voice while trembling with fear.

Emily while preparing a spell caressed Kaiser's face with a sad smile "I'm sorry my little boy but it seems we don't have much time together, Try to live a good life for us OK?"

"Mom?? Please don't you leave me too." Kaiser said while crying and holding onto her mother's clothes tightly.

Freed Laughed maniaclly "Is your parting moment done? Great now I'm going to take that child. Nothing personal kid, also Forget about that teleportation spell you were preparing. It's too late, we have already set a barrier around the house so you can't escape." He then took out a sword and rushed towards the two of them.

Emily quickly launched different spells at freed, which he Dodged easily "Weak." in a few seconds he was already in their reach.

Kaiser while being scared closed his eyes from fear. A slashing sound was heard And a hand fell.

Kaiser opened his eyes and saw that his mother was looking at freed with hatred. The hand that was caressing him a moment ago had been cut off and fallen to the ground. Blood was pouring from Emily's Shoulder. "M-mom??" muttered Kaiser.

"Aww come on don't ruin the fun for me. I was just going to give him a little scar. I need him alive so you don't have to worry about me killing him."

"You're a sick bastard." Emily yelled and unleashed yet another spell towards freed which he easily dodged again.

Freed sighed "While I like to have fun with my prey, my master would be pissed and disappointed if I take this too long. So I will finish you quickly. What a shame, you could have been a good mage for the hero faction. Same could be said about your husband. But do not worry, my master will use your kid with care and make good use of him in his project." He then slashed once again, but something happened he didn't expect. Kaiser stood in front of his mother and took the below instead of her. Now, he was lying in his mother's grasp with a big scar on his chest. Blood was flowing out and it looked like he would be dying any second from the severity of the wound.

"No no no you fucking brat you ruined it, you were the perfect piece for my mast-" Before Freed could continue a powerful spell hit him and sent him tumbling to the ground.

Emily was outraged. First they attacked her house, then killed his husband, and now this crazy freak had dealt a fatal blow to his son. Even while her mana was restricted and limited, she was using all she had to kill this guy.

Freed got up and smiled "Ah that hurt a bit. If you were at your full power I might have received quite a nasty scar. Hmm, the kid is dead so there is no point in this attack anymore. Guess I can have a bit of fun while killing you."

In just a few minutes, Emily lost to freed and was overpowered by him. Having finished his job, Freed had already left leaving Emily's lifeless body lying down on the ground beside his son. Unlike her Kaiser was still breathing. He had seen all the things that freed did to his mother. From breaking her bones to cutting off her limbs, and more. He felt Scared and weak, but most of all he felt useless. He couldn't help his mother during all this torture. 'If I was a little stronger maybe I could have helped her. They died because of me. Freed said it himself, he was here for me. If they had left me and ran away they would have been alive. But now they are dead because of me.'

While the light in his eyes was fading away and his breathing was becoming slower he saw a blue light and then he closed his eyes and died.

[LPA System has been activated. Beginning Synchronization.]

A few hours have passed since the tragic slaughter and Kaiser, Still was lying in the puddle of blood lifelessly. From an onlooker's point of view, he may have been dead but alas he was still breathing.

Slowly opening his eyes he looked around himself, Memories of last night began to surface again. By just remembering a tiny bit of last night, Kaiser's mental state began to worsen again and he began breathing heavily as if he was close to getting a panic attack. Before the situation could get worse he heard a systemic voice and a blue screen appeared in front of him.

[Host is in a state of panic and emotionally vulnerable. Any Further mental damage will threaten the host's sanity. Activating the takeover function to stabilize Host's condition.]

"W-why I'm alive?" Kaiser muttered being scared after all that had happened to him but the voice that came out of his mouth was emotionless.

Suddenly he felt that he couldn't control his body anymore and this scared him even more. But as he was almost at his breaking point, all the emotions and trauma he was feeling began to fade away and he could breathe freely.

[Host condition has been stabilized. Disabling Takeover Function.]

After the message that he saw, he got the control of his body back to him which relieved him.

"W-what is this" kaiser asked particularly from no one.

[LPA System. The outer gods have taken pity on host and decided to give you a hand in getting your revenge.]

"LPA? What's that? And what is a system?"

[An artificial intelligence that has access to all information and sources of energies across the Universe and its main purpose is to help the host reach their goals. The system is connected to the will of the universe. User can achieve anything with the help of this system, even getting strong enough to kill and surpass gods.]

[The level of given information to the host is beyond their understanding, beginning Evolution process to change host's mentality.]

Kaiser stared at the screen confused "Evolution?" Before he could utter any words a barrage of information started flooding his mind, and with it came horrendous headaches.

Kaiser grabbed his head with his little hands feeling a tremendous pain, it felt as if his brain was melting and assembling again.

[Notice; Due to the amount of pain host is going through the system will put host in an unconscious state.]

In a matter of seconds just as the system said Kaiser lost consciousness and once again similar to last night fell almost lifeless to the ground.

Kaiser slowly opened his eyes. There was loads of information that he didn't know and his brain was running through all of them to get a better grasp on his situation. There were so many things he didn't know. From the existence of supernatural beings such as devils, angels, Dragons, gods of different pythons, and more.

And the person who killed both his parents probably was in one of these factions. If he wanted to confront them and find the reason behind the attack that happened last night, then he needed to be strong enough to go against these supernatural beings.

After a while, he sighed "So from what you told me I can use you to get my revenge on those that killed my family. Correct ?"

[Yes. By using the system host indeed can get the revenge they want.]

"I see. then I will use you to get my revenge. I hope you stay true to your words."

[Does host don't care if system has any ulterior motives and would use host for its own purpose?]

"Not really, I would be dead right now if it weren't for you. Heck, you could probably just use my body and control it to do anything you want. So I consider the life I have right now a borrowed one as the original me died last night. Just help me get my revenge and you can do whatever you or your creator wants after."

[The system is completely Under users commands. The only time it will interfere against the will of host is in emergency situations that risks you life.]

"Whatever. Explain to me how I didn't die last night. Also give me Any other information about how this system works."

How was the first chapter? I know the first part is boring most of the time so i apologise to you guys for it. I decided to go for a different approach instead of reincarnating my mc from a world that he has knowledge of dxd about to dxd and doing the rob giving wishes thing.
