Prologue 2

Archangel Michael declared that he's taking the abnormal baby to heaven and Vasco and the Pope were shocked by the declaration.

Normally, humans aren't allowed to visit heaven. The reason is that since God died, it has become very difficult to maintain the system. If humans walk through heaven as is, it will affect the system in a negative way. Recently, research has been undergoing making halos for other races so that they can enter heaven without affecting the system. But it's still not achieved.

But Michael doesn't have to be afraid of that since the system will be affected positively with this ridiculous amount of holy power. As long as this child doesn't affect the faith of the people, this child can freely roam in heaven.

"Can I know the reason, Michael-sama?" The Pope asked. The Pope didn't understand why Michael is willing to keep him in heaven.

Michael said one of the numerous reasons that Michael has. "The child can't have a normal life as he can't control his holy aura. And it's on my level. If I leave him to you, can you promise me that he can have a normal childhood?"

"No, Michael-sama" Vasco gave the obvious answer. Of course, with that amount of holy power, he will be worshipped by the Church.

"We can't take the child's life from him. As you can see, he's a human with a short life-span. If he is worshipped, how will he enjoy his childhood? I think depriving someone of their life is a sin too. So, I will let him stay in heaven and teach him control over his power. What he chooses with his life is up to him after that moment."

None of them opposed to Michael's statement. They were just mesmerized by how gentle he is. Of course, it's true that Michael is gentle but there are many other reasons for Michael to take this step.

If Michael left him here at Church, he will be developed as a weapon against the devils and fallen angels. And if this overpowered child was badly influenced, he can wipe out the devil and fallen angel race.

And even worse, if he came to know that God is dead after he was raised by the Church with that faith, he might make a rampage on the Church.

So, Michael decided to raise the child with him knowing the truth and how the world works. He wanted this child to grow into a gentle being that sees angels, fallen angels, and devils in the same way.

And another one of the reasons is that Michael doesn't want other races to know about this child as it would endanger his life or will be used in weird experiments by people like Azazel.

"Now we have to think of a name for this child. Any suggestions?" Michael casually asked the two people in front of him.

The question was sudden that they didn't know what to answer. They began searching for suitable names but Vasco immediately voiced out his thoughts when he saw the boy in Michael's hands. "This may not be a suitable name, Michael-sama but the first thing that comes to my mind is the name 'Michaelangelo'"

The Pope immediately looked Vasco with an 'Are you serious?!' expression.

Michael immediately burst out laughing. "Hahaha... Michael's angel huh..."

The name Michaelangelo is a combination of two words. Michael and Angelo. Normally, the name Michael means 'Who is like God?' implying that 'No one is like God' but in this case, it represents Michael himself. And Angelo means 'angel' or 'messenger'. Normally, Michaelangelo means 'God's messenger' but in this case, it's 'Michael's Angel'. The name looks more like a pun since the boy isn't an angel but shows the properties of an angel.

Michael looked at the kid he is holding "How do you like that name, little one?"

The kid in his hands chuckled as if he's implying that he liked that name. Michael accepted that name "Alright then, you will be my angel from now on. What do you say, Michaelangelo?"

The baby giggled as if he accepted it. Michael turned to the other two "But it's a big name. So, why don't we call him with a nickname? Hmm... Let's just call him Mike. What do you think?"

The other two could do nothing but nod. They couldn't say it out loud but they felt that the same nickname can be used for Michael too.

Michael moved to the next topic and became a little serious "I want this incident to be kept as a secret. It's better if this is known by as fewer people as possible."

Vasco and the Pope agreed to it. They already expected this order to come as they understand the sensitivity of this matter.

"Alright then, I will take my leave." Saying it, Michael moved to the teleportation circle and disappeared from there the next moment along with little Mike.

"Do you think that child will return from heaven?" The Pope asked Vasco after Michael was gone.

Heaven is supposed to be a destination of the good after death. The ultimate, most comfortable place offered by God due to good deeds. Pope doubted if someone would want to come back from that place after being raised there.

Vasco sighed and answered "This is just a gut feeling but I think he will. And once he is back..." he looked at the Pope with undoubting eyes "I think he will be the one to make me retire."

And this is the start of the boy's story. A boy named Michaelangelo, who will be referred to as heaven's devil.
