With the three-gonging sounds of the bell chiming inside the hall, the commotion inside the hall ceased as everyone's attention was brought to the luxuriously decorated dais that was adjacent to a one-way entrance near to a wall. Yes, the entrance was accessible only to the staff of the Golden Dragon Tavern.
Following the sound of rapid footsteps, a hunched-back old man with long gray hair and a gray beard, walked inside the hall while stepping on the red carpet of the dais.
To everyone's surprise, they could see that the sound was actually not from his footsteps but rather from the tapping sound of the long walking golden stick in the shape of a dragon with its head topped up and the tail hitting the floor as the old gentleman walked inside gracefully.
He stopped when he was at the center of the dais.
