The Awakening

"No! Leave me alone! Don't hurt me! No Please!"

"Hahaha! Do you really think you could hide from me, you miserable wench?!"

"AHHHH!" A piercing scream rang through the forest, disturbing the rest of the last remaining Celestial Being, causing this Being to to shift in annoyance. Hearing the commotion from above, this Being let out a huge roar, causing the Earth to vibrate in resonance, as if the Planet itself were celebrating the return of this being.

Stretching, this Being took a look around, to see his chambers were in an immense state of ruin, as if many centuries have passed since the being fled from the Ragnarok, an event which reshaped the entire world, while eliminating all celestial beings that weren't able to set up a barrier against this event.

Because the chambers were in such ruin, this Being had no conventional way of leaving this chamber, so this Being lifted up one black-armored plated arm and released an ethereal blast of dark energy, blasting all the debris that blocked the way out.

After this path was cleared, this Being started walking towards the exit, when suddenly the roof caved in! looking up, this being felt the energy of a living mortal falling amongst the rubble. This being used an energy-based spell that slowed the descent of both the rubble and the mortal. As soon as the mortal landed safely, she jumped up and checked herself for any visible wounds, before she realized she was in an immense ancient chamber, with heiroglyphs and markings that she could not comprehend.

"Has this place been here this entire time, hiding under this forest? How did it get here? How old is this place?" She asked aloud, not actually expecting a reply.

"Eanitmenite" This Being replied, with no concept of the language barrier that has passed since He was in slumber."

"Whaaaat?!" She gasped, as she spun around to face the source of the sound. Standing five hundred feet away from her stood a humanoid figure, encased in black armor staring at her.

"Encechartena" This being spoke, as He approached her.

Backing up, the woman tripped over a broken piece of granite floor, and landed on her rear, with her ankle stuck in the crack between the two pieces of broken granite.

As the Being approached her, He removed his daunting helmet, and the face of a young mid-teens face looked upon her disheveled face. Looking down, he noticed her leg was stuck, so He set his helmet on the ground and turned towards her stuck leg.

"No Please! don't hurt me, mister!" She cried, as this total strange kid bent down, and pulled the broken granite just far enough that she could pull her leg out.

"Entwandiu," the boy replied, standing back up and then He retrieved his helmet.

"Who are you? What are you doing down here? where did you find that armor? What language are you even speaking? I cannot understand anything you say!" She asked, concern and panic easily discerned from her voice.

"Edo.... Alndero..... Hnoe.... How about now?" He asked, finally picking up on her language.

"So you do know English?" She asked, as she stood up and brushed off the dirt from her plump rear.

"I can understand and speak all languages, for I am the Celestial Dragon, Guardian of this Universe. My name is Bahamut, and I am a Dragon of Chaos." He spoke, as he looked around his ruined chamber.

"Ummm.... Mr. Bahamut, how did you get down here? Shouldn't we find a way out of here, instead of playing make believe? You're a little too old for fairy tales, everyone knows dragons dont exist!" She giggled, as she started calming down and relaxing around this silly boy.

"Don't worry, woman. Once I find energy crystal we will proceed to leave to the outside of my castle. What year are we in currently?"

"We're in the year 2550, silly kid, but you already knew that!" She laughed, thinking this kid isn't so bad, he may be weird but at least he's kind!

So, I have been in slumber for over 3000 years, He thought. Walking back towards his resting place, he noticed a dull blue glow hiding under some rubble. Digging through the rubble, he found the source of the glow- it was his energy crystal!

"I found what I was searching for, now let's get out of here. I am interested to see what changes this world has to offer." He said, walking back towards the woman, who was looking around the ruins at all the different markings carved into to walls.
