Going to Look for My future Wife

After some time of traveling, Bulma woke up. She looked around and noticed that she was in a car. She then heard music playing from the radio, looked forward, and saw Goku and Oolong jamming to some tunes. Then she began to think.

'What happened to the house wagon?' She tried to remember, but nothing came to mind. She then shrugged and decided to let the thought go.

"Hey, Goku, where'd you get this car?" She asked.

He turned the volume down and replied, "Well, after that guy Yusuke blew the front wheel off, I beat him up. He then came back and gave us this car as a token of his appreciation, which I think is very cool."

"Oh, well, okay. So where are we headed?" She asked.

"Well, by my calculation, we're going straight for Frypan Mountain where the Ox-King lives," he said with a shiver.

"Who's that?" Bulma asked.

"Well, he's basically like a demon lord. He keeps guard of his castle with his huge axe that can split any human in half," Oolong answered.

"Why would people want to get into his castle in the first place?" She asked again.

"Well, to answer that, I'll have to explain the entire lore behind him. One day, a great flame came from the heavens and surrounded the Ox-King's castle. They say the flames are so hot they could burn a man into dust in a second. Now, luckily, the Ox-King wasn't in his castle at the time. He was outside having a picnic with his daughter. The Ox-King has many treasures, you see, and people want his treasures. With him not in the castle, people tried to get in and take them. Those people either died from the fire or the Ox-King. To this day, the flames still surround his castle, and he can't enter it. The End."

"Wow, Oolong, I didn't know you were so knowledgeable," Bulma said with a hint of admiration in her tone.

"Well, I had to know this. They made me write an essay about this back in school," he said. "So how will we know when we arrive?" Bulma asked again.

"When the heat suddenly turns up, just like now." Everyone in the car started to feel the heat. Sweat dripped down their faces, and they all felt parched.

"Damn, it's so hot," Yamcha said. He put the AC on, but he couldn't feel any difference.

"They're really set on going to Frypan Mountain. Do they not know about the Ox-King?" He wondered to himself.

They soon began to see a giant wall of flames. There was a mountain right in the middle, and on that mountain, a castle was at the top of it. Oolong stopped, and they got out of the car.

"The radar says the ball is at the top of that mountain," Bulma said. "But how the heck are we going to get there?" She continued.

"Well, I'm not doing anything, that's for sure. I'll sit right here and watch you two fail," Oolong said as he went back into the car and turned the radio on.

"Goku, could you try getting in there with your Nimbus?" Bulma asked.

"Sure."

He called for Nimbus. A second later, the cloud came down and carried Goku up into the air. He went above the flames and tried going down to the castle, but as he got closer, so did the heat increase. Goku flew back to Bulma, who sighed as her plan had failed.

"What should we do now?" She said to herself. Bulma sat on a rock and thought of something. While Goku kept flying around, he then picked up someone's scent who he hadn't heard before. Suddenly, an axe was thrown towards him.

Goku easily dodged it with the help of Nimbus, but he wasn't sure that he would've survived if he was on the ground. The axe was caught by a dark figure who had suddenly appeared. Goku went back down and stood in front of Bulma. The figure soon landed, making the ground tremble.

The figure walked towards Goku and Bulma, pushing the car away and standing right in front of Goku.

"Is that the Flying Nimbus?" The figure, who was now revealed to be a giant man with a weird mask on his face, asked Goku.

"Yeah, why?"

"That means you know Master Roshi. Do you know where he is?" He asked.

"Well, I guess I know where he might be, but I'm not sure where he actually is," Goku replied.

"Hmm, that's okay. By the way, I'm the Ox-King, and I'm the person who keeps that castle guarded from anyone who wants to steal my treasure," he said in a loud, grand voice.

"Okay."

"Now, please tell me where Master Roshi is."

"Just as I said, I'm not sure where he actually is, but I know where he might be."

"Oh, could you go there and get something from him for me?"

"What's that thing you want?"

"It's just something that'll help extinguish these raging flames. It's called the Bashousen," the Ox-King said.

"Oh, okay, but first, I want to know if you have anything like this in your Castle." He pulled out a Dragon Ball and showed it to him.

"Um, I think I've seen that somewhere in my castle. Do you want this in exchange for going to Master Roshi for me?"

"Yeah, that would be great."

"Alright, then I'll give you that Ball. Now, could you please go there for me? Oh, also, please look for my daughter as well. Her name is Chichi. I sent her to go look for Master Roshi, and she hasn't returned since then."

"Alright, I'll try."

Goku and Nimbus then flew high into the clouds and dashed off on their way to look for Chichi, the girl who would grow to become his wife.
