Chapter 21: Frieza's Arrival

The colossal spaceship, as immense as the being within, exuded an oppressive pressure that weighed heavily on everyone.

Especially Nappa and Raditz, who had faced Frieza before, trembled uncontrollably, barely able to muster any resistance.

Looking at their two companions and then at their own severely injured bodies, Vegeta had never felt so powerless.

John Doe and the others felt the same, with the slight advantage that they, except for John Doe, had never encountered Frieza. Although Frieza's energy felt like a heavy mountain pressing down on them, they weren't as terrified as Vegeta's group since they had no prior experience with him.

Goku walked up to John Doe and asked, "You've fought Frieza before. How did it go? If you were to face him again now, what do you think the outcome would be?"

John Doe fell silent for a moment before replying, "I can currently use the Kaio-ken at 30 times gravity, and my displayed strength is probably only equivalent to about 70% of Frieza's power. To defeat him, I would need to transform into the legendary Super Saiyan."

"The Super Saiyan?" Goku muttered to himself, and no one knew what was going through his mind at that moment.

The spaceship carrying Frieza slowly descended onto Earth's surface.

As the spaceship's hatch opened, the fourth form, or the true form of Frieza, slowly emerged.

Following him was a swarm of Frieza's soldiers, like a plague of locusts, flying out of the spaceship and facing off against John Doe and the other Z Warriors.

Vegeta, Nappa, and Raditz were all stunned when they saw Frieza's true form for the first time. They couldn't understand why this person's energy felt so similar to Frieza's, and the energy emanating from this Frieza was far more powerful than what they had witnessed before.

Frieza ignored Vegeta's group and flew over to John Doe. After seeing John Doe's image on the screen, Frieza had been surprised, so upon arriving on Earth, he immediately headed towards John Doe.

"It's not easy, Lord John Doe," Frieza said. "I thought I had killed you with my last attack, but I never expected you to still be alive. I must admit, your resilience is truly admirable."

"Thanks to you, I not only survived but also made significant progress in my strength," John Doe retorted without holding back. "Do you want to test the power of my fist?"

Frieza nodded and said, "Why not? But before we fight, I need to deal with a few of my traitors."

As he spoke, Frieza turned his gaze towards Vegeta's group, his eyes gleaming with mocking murderous intent, like a cat toying with a mouse.

Feeling Frieza's stare, Nappa, Raditz, and Vegeta's hearts sank, sensing that something was amiss.

Nappa spoke up, "Lord Frieza, may I ask why you want to kill us? We have always been loyal and dedicated to you, so why won't you let us go?"

Nappa's question made it clear to the Earth's Z Warriors that Frieza had come to kill Vegeta and the other two.

Krillin and the others were confused. Krillin whispered to John Doe, "John Doe, aren't Vegeta and the others Frieza's subordinates? Why does Frieza want to kill them?"

John Doe knew the reason but didn't want to reveal it directly, so he shook his head and said, "I don't know either, but I assume Frieza will tell us. With his arrogant personality, he's unlikely to keep it a secret."

Hearing Nappa's question, Frieza asked sternly, "Are you questioning me?"

Nappa was startled by Frieza's response, but at the same time, he felt a glimmer of hope, thinking that Frieza might be joking with them.

Vegeta also thought the same, as Frieza still had the mind to respond to their question.

However, Frieza's next statement sent the hearts of Vegeta and the other two plummeting into despair.

Vegeta said, "Since you're so eager to know why I want to kill you, I'll generously tell you."

Upon hearing Frieza's words, Vegeta and the other two Saiyans immediately understood that Frieza was serious this time. He truly intended to kill all three of them.

Frieza slowly spoke, "First of all, I want to kill not only the three of you but also the Saiyan who has been living on Earth and the hybrid child he had with an Earthling."

As Frieza spoke, he pointed his finger at Goku and Gohan.

After more than two years of training, Gohan was no longer the shy child who would hide behind his father when encountering strangers. Facing Frieza's gaze, Gohan stared back without hesitation.

Frieza didn't seem to care. In his eyes, these people were already dead, so there was no point in getting angry. The most important thing now was to tell them the reason for the destruction of Planet Vegeta, and Frieza wanted to see the expressions on the Saiyans' faces when they heard this news.

Frieza slowly said, "I'll let you in on a secret. Do you know how your home planet, Planet Vegeta, was destroyed?"

At this moment, Raditz spoke up, "Wasn't it destroyed by a giant meteor?"

Hearing Raditz's words, Frieza burst into laughter, "Hahaha... You actually believed such a fake story. Now I see that I shouldn't have kept you alive all these years because you're truly idiotic."

Vegeta looked at Frieza and said, "Planet Vegeta was destroyed by you, wasn't it?"

Upon hearing Vegeta's words, Nappa, Raditz, and even Goku were all shocked.

Nappa looked at Frieza in disbelief and asked, "Frieza, is what Vegeta said true? Was Planet Vegeta really destroyed by you?"

Although it was a question, the fact that Nappa no longer addressed Frieza as 'Lord Frieza' indicated that he believed Vegeta's statement.

Frieza didn't answer Nappa's question immediately but instead burst into laughter. He praised Vegeta, "Prince Vegeta, you truly are the Saiyan I value the most, and you didn't disappoint me."

Then, Frieza admitted, "Yes, your Planet Vegeta was indeed destroyed by me. It was completely erased from the universe by my powerful energy blast."

"That's right, I remember now," Frieza continued, looking at Goku. "But there was one foolish Saiyan who tried to stand in my way. I don't remember his name, but I recognize his face, and he looks a lot like you, Lord Goku."
