"Aargh", women panted.

A baby can be heard crying in the room. There was a slight opening of the door where a women informed an old man of the news of the birth. There was a clear joy on his face. He then slowly came toward the baby and held him.

"Finally there is my heir."

"His name shall be Artys of House Arryn."

Thus, a boy was born to the House Arryn who will forever change the face of Westeros.

*Time skip*

293 AC

In the tall towering castle, Eyrie, a boy could be seen practicing sword fighting with a wooden sword against a wooden dummy. Boy had black hair and fair skin. With a black eye focusing his intent on swinging his practice sword.

After 15 minutes of swinging, boy was sweating as if he just took a bath. He was Artys Arryn, heir of the House Arryn, future Lord of the Eyrie and Defender of the Vale.

The boy stopped to take a rest while thinking of his situation.

A week ago, while trying to ride a horse, Artys fell off the horse and was unconscious. And another soul occupied the body of Artys.

The soul was not of this world but another known as Earth.

After waking up, the boy looked around seeing unfamiliar surroundings. He looked confused.

"What happened? Where am I?"

Suddenly, there was a sharp pain in his head. There was a sudden influx of huge amount of memories. After few minutes, the pain subsided.

"So I am in the world of Game of Thrones. And I am the heir of the House Arryn. Although I don't recall there being a character named Artys from House Arryn in the series."

He knew of this TV-series. It was very popular at the time with very good medieval fantasy element along with conspirators and kings and successions. Although the series was good but it had a very disappointing ending. Nevertheless, it was one of his favorite ones.

After knowing that this was a world of Game of thrones, he was excited and also worried. Excited because the world he experienced in the screen became real while worried due to the various conspiracies and dangers that comes with it.

While he was thinking, the door to his room opened. There came a women in her 20s with a worried look.

When she saw him, she was surprised and then happy.

"Oh dear! Are you awake?"

Coming closer and sitting beside him, "Why did you try to ride a horse? It was dangerous."

He looked toward the women. He seems to recognize her, she was his mother Lysa Arryn.

"I was just trying to feel like a knight. Sorry to have worry you mother"

"Well don't do these dangerous things again. Does it still hurt?"

"Not much. Just a slight headache and a little hungry."

She then smiled, "Take a good rest then. I will send someone with food."

Then she rose and walked towards the door.

After her departure, Artys thought 'so what am I going to do in this world full of conspiracies and backstabbing? Oh and there is the death of king, battle of the five kings, the dragons and the white walkers and most importantly the death of the hand of the king, Jon Arryn, who is my father in this world.'

'Doesn't the MC in novels get some cheats while in my situation? What about mine?'

"System… Status…"

"It seems that I don't have any of those. Or is there any delay in the cheats or any cheats I am not aware of?"

After some time, a maid comes in with a tray of food. It was a decent meal of porridge and a cup of milk.

Placing the tray on the side table, she bows and leaves the room.

"Well no use in thinking of that now. Let's fill the belly first."

While trying to take the get up from the bed, he pulled the blanket. Suddenly there was a screen in his vision.

"It needs a thorough research of this. And does it also show mine?"

With the sudden influx of huge knowledge, Artys was unable to think properly. After dragging the body to the bed, the consciousness slowly drifted to sleep.

Next Morning

With the tremble of the eyelids, Artys opened his eyes staring at the ceiling.

Contemplating the bizarre experience he experienced yesterday. First he came to the world of Game of Thrones, then he got a downloading cheats (not that he was complaining). But out of the modern lifestyle to the feudal age, it gives a strange feeling.

'It seems that I should get away from the King's landing and get to the Vale. Away from this stinking place full of politics and conspiracies. You can trust no one in here. I should now focus rather on increasing my power using this cheat, away from the prying eyes' as he knew that there was nowhere safe in King's landing with all the spies.

After few minutes, slowly getting up from the bed. He walked toward the door.

Outside the door were two guards. When Artys came out, they greeted him. Returning the greetings, he walked around the castle.

When he came to the training area, there were soldiers training with their weapons. When he was watching them, there was a voice sounding behind him.

"Are you feeling better now?"

Turning around, he saw his father Jon Arryn, the current hand of the king asking.

"Yes father. I'm feeling great."

"Good Good."

After thinking for few seconds, Artys asked, "Can I request you something father?"

"Oh! What do you want to request?" asking as he looked to the boy.

"I want to go to the Vale."

"Why? Don't you like it here? Does anyone bother you here?"

"No father, I just wanted to visit our lands and see outside of this place."

After some thoughts, Jon replied, "Fine, but I will send your mother and guards with you. I will write letter to inform you visit."

"Thank you father. And can I go tomorrow?" He hurriedly thanked with joy.

"Why so hurry? Fine, there will be ship heading Gull Town at the dawn. Be ready for the ship, it will take you in a week."

After that Jon Arryn, the hand of the king left. Artys was standing there happily.

'Finally I can leave this place away from this place. And it seems that there is 5 more years of stability before the death of my father which I should avoid as much as possible. Perhaps suggest some ideas that will give him more room rather than the death alone with consipiracies.'

After sometime, Lysa came towards him.

"I heard you want to go to Vale."

"Yes mother. I wanted to go out of King's landing to see the outer world."

Turning towards the training of the guards, "I want to be capable lord and for that I want to see the world and how it works."

Lysa smiled, "You will, son. Now let's go and have a meal."

After the meal, Artys went to see the King's landing which he won't be seeing for a long time after this journey.

Later that night in his room, he opened his own folder to see his progress.

Seeing own folder, he found the feature to organize it to declutter the contents in the screen. During the day, he tried to download skills of the people. He downloaded skill of pick pocket and one of the guards.

It seems that he can download skills of other people, but it seems to take a toll in the body and takes time to fully digest those skills. He also found that there was tier of the skills he downloads. Currently he has downloaded the pickpocket and sword fighting, both of which are basic. He wanted to download more advanced skills but his 10 year old body won't be able to handle them nor fully display the skills. He have to train these skills to truly make them own.

After thinking of how to use his power to make best of it, he started to pack his things (which were not much) and sleep for tomorrow's departure.
