Heirloom

Eleven days later.

Surviving in the jungle had been a pice of cake for Athena. She had practically been meditating and living atop a tree branch saving her strength, only going down for hunting. 'It's been days since we've been here and I haven't seen anyone else so far. Should start making my way back soon. But before that I should check if there's any dead bodies and take a look at the tracking device..'

Making her way around the jungle, Athena met a pack of wolves eyeing her like a tasty prey. Taking out her knife she eyed the Alpha wolf, as if challenging him to a fight. Twelve wolves circled around her growling. Her body started to emit a cold and deadly aura instilled into her from the constant trials and training given by her family. Upon the Alpha wolf's howl, Athena's body moved forward killing her way towards the Alpha wolf.

Before he could react Athena leapt onto the Alpha straddling his body while he tried to flip her off. Grabbing his fur she started raining down punches on his head while he tried to Think you can bully me huh? No one who bullies me will get away and today is your bad luck for meeting me" she yelled releasing the anger and stress accumulated from the past few days. Seeing this the other wolves came forward to help their Alpha, trying to claw and bite her. Kicking the other wolves away, but one wolf was able to get close enough to slash her wrist right where there is a mark like a tattoo of a small fox.

Unbeknown to Athena, the blood from the wound gets absorbed into the mark. Meanwhile she swapped from punching to pulling out bunches of fur, until the mark flashed a bright blinding light and disappeared along with Athena surprising the wolves.

Opening her eyes Athena found herself in a valley with a seven story pagoda in the middle of a large body of water. "Hello young child. As I am only a part of a remnant soul, I as your ancestor will imprint to you the inheritance before I disappear" turning around Athena sees an old man who reaches out towards her forward. Feeling all the information flooding into her she closes her eyes. Three hours later she finally opened her eyes, upon registering all the knowledge her eyes flashed sky blue before returning to her normal emerald green whilst her hair flashed from silver to her normal dark brown. Feeling that she's stayed long enough in this space she went out.

Returning to where she was before she disappeared, she jumped onto the Alpha. Taking advantage of this surprise she took out her knife and sneered towards the wolves Today's your lucky day. I'll give you two choice, one, submit to me and I'll let you live or two, I'll kill you as well as your pack and use your fur to make a few coats". Scared of becoming bold the Alpha howled and prostrated itself on the ground telling the other wolves to follow. "Good boy! For now you can be my mount while I'm still here. Now let's go and see if there's any bodies around. Don't worry after this I promise to release you" she smiled while patting the Alpha wolf.

Riding the Alpha Athena observed her wrist, 'Eh, where did the tattoo go?' Confused She tried to remember the origin of the tattoo and what her mother had once told her when she had asked her about it.

Mother Chu: "Athena remember this is our family's heirloom. Only those with the fox clans blood will have this mark. With this you will have many resources and advantages but the most important thing is that it can save your life. It will only activate under special circumstances once you reach sixteen years old so I will help you once you become of age ok darling?"

Looking at the wound on her wrist 'Huh, so it needed my blood to activate it. Speaking of blood..'

"I smell blood. Let's move towards it and see what it is" pointing in a direction for the wolves to move forward. A while later they came across a few dead bodies of the girls. Athena walked towards the bodies and crouched down. Taking out her knife she removed one of the tracker to observe it. Not getting any clues from it she then removed all the other trackers before putting it in her space. Turning towards the wolves "Well, thank you for your help in bringing me here. These bodies will be a gift to you as I will be leaving now" she said before making her way towards the outskirts of the jungle.
