After Long Su left, Li Bai went to his office to find out all the evidence he could of Jiang Lin's abuse towards the other younger children.

It was almost time for the elementary schoolers to come home. The high schoolers would come later, so he'd have to wait for Jiang Lin but have enough time to ask the younger kids about what Jiang Lin had done to them.

"Xiao Ming, why do you guys avoid Jiang Lin?" Li Bai questioned during their snack time.

The children who were chatting and giggling loudly all stopped and stayed quiet. Some looked scared while others were opening their mouths to say something but then closing them.

Xiao Ming, whose name was Lu Ming, was a cute girl who was in 2nd grade. She looked terrified at the mentioning of Jiang Lin.

"Xiao Ming, I noticed that Jiang Lin isn't who she seems to be. Tell me the truth. If she is what I think she is, then I will immediately kick her out today! And even if she isn't, it seems all the kids here are frightened of her. Xiao Ming, I'm the director now. I'm not like the old man who didn't bother with you guys before. I will care for you, feed you delicious food, and protect you. I will also trust and believe in you and support you. But first, you have to also give me your trust so that I can protect you. You are an orphan but orphans still deserve to be loved. Think of me as your parent. Please, Xiao Ming, trust me."

Lu Ming's response was simply breaking down into tears and confessing all the horrible things that Jiang Lin had done to her and the other kids. Xiao Ming had long sleeves on and when she pulled them up, purple finger marks could be seen on her wrist.

Li Bai had recorded starting from the beginning and took great care in recording all the evidence that the other children showed after Lu Ming stepped up.

The other children had been fearful of what Jiang Lin might've done if she found out about the conversation but soon came to realize that this new director was different from the one before. He actually tried to understand them and tried to protect them. Besides, the conversation couldn't possibly be heard by Jiang Lin. She wasn't here. And soon, their new director would kick her out.

Soon enough, the high schoolers had gotten home.

Xu Ye was talking to Jing Mu who was trying to act cool but was listening intently. Jiang Lin was walking farther away from them and was laughing while talking to someone over the phone.

The three teenagers looked a little confused when they saw Li Bai standing by the entrance of the orphanage and looking straight at them.

"Mom, what's wrong?" Xu Ye asked. Xu Ye, who had been replaced by Lai Jing still stuck to calling Lu Feng his mother but changed it to "Mom" so he could sound as mature as he was supposed to be in his current 16-year-old body.

Jing Mu looked at Xu Ye strangely but kept quiet. He had a calm facade on, but it was obvious that he was curious about what was happening.

Jiang Lin was still talking over the phone but told the other person, "Ah, I need to hang up now, bye" when she noticed that Li Bai was specifically staring at her.

"Director, what's wrong? Why are you waiting out here? Shouldn't you be preparing dinner?" she asked in a spur. Jiang Lin didn't notice the horde of eyes staring at the situation from the second-floor windows.

"Pst. Is she really going to be kicked out today?" a young boy whispered.

"Hmph, our new director promised us. Of course, he has to keep a promise!" a voice with a righteous tone answered.

"But adults don't always keep their promises..." a worried voice of a young girl commented.

"Our director said that hitting children is a serious crime. I bet that the witch has to go to prison now, so don't be worried!" answered the same righteous tone of voice.

Meanwhile, back at the entrance, Li Bai was having a stare-down with Jiang Lin.

Xu Ye grabbed Jing Mu's arm and dragged the older boy into the building.

Jiang Lin, noticing this, tried to walk past Li Bai as inconspicuously as possible but was stopped.

"Director, what's the meaning of this? Why am I not allowed in?" she asked with a skeptical voice.

"Jiang Lin, are you really asking why you aren't allowed in? Do you not know what you've done wrong?" Li Bai asked.

Jiang Lin had a thought and was frightened at the thought, but kept her cool in a matter of seconds.

'Wow, green tea bitches really do act well~' was Li Bai's thought at that time.

"Director, I do not know what you mean?" Jiang Lin probed.

"Jiang Lin. I have every right to kick you out of this orphanage. Do you know why?"

Jiang Lin brought out tears from the depths of her eyes, trying to make herself look pitiful.

"Director, I really do not know what you are talking about? Why are you doing this? Have the kids told lies about me? They always hated me for no reason... Please, director, I'm innocent!" she spouted while grabbing Li Bai's arm and rubbing her bountiful breasts against him.

Li Bai put on a disgusted look on his face and pushed her away immediately.

"Jiang Lin, you're already 16. The orphanage has been very lenient lately and they let kids stay here till they turn 18, but I have every right to change that as the new director."

Jiang Lin screamed hysterically, "Director Li! What about Xu Ye and Jing Mu?! Xu Ye's older than me by two months and Jing Mu is already 18! What have I done wrong to get this sort of treatment! The children hate me and the others my age don't even acknowledge me! Director, am I really that hateful?"

Jiang Lin's pitiful cries echoed throughout the streets and the passersby who didn't know the situation stood quietly by the side watching the drama shamelessly.

"Yes. You really are hateful. Here's your luggage, now get out. I won't shame you by telling you your own sins, but I do hope that you reflect on your actions and don't ever repeat them."

Li Bai handed Jiang Lin her luggage and several bags stuffed full of her stuff.

"Since you don't have money, get a job. Here's your debit card. Use it to get by. Goodbye and don't ever come back again."

The debit card had fairly enough money to get by for half a year. By then, she'd be situated and be able to live on her own. That was only if she spent it wisely and not like she usually did- on clothes, accessories, new phones, and unnecessary things. And that was if she didn't haphazardly buy a condo instead of renting a small and quaint apartment.

Before Jiang Lin could shut her wide open mouth and try to reason with Li Bai, Li Bai had already gone back inside as quickly as he could.

The furious girl demanded her rights and screamed out blasphemy and rights and about the law, but she couldn't get the director to come out again. The passersby only tutted their tongues realizing the situation. The girl had done something very bad and the orphanage couldn't tolerate it anymore even if it had taken care of children in a very tolerated way.

The girl, realizing her situation, could only shut up and fumingly stomp away dragging her luggage.

On the way to her friend's house, she thought back to her life in the orphanage. It was very good and much better than ordinary children's. The rich donated thousands every year and she had received allowances that even the nicest of kids would envy.

But why was she kicked out?

She shuddered at a particular thought.

It couldn't be. Had those children told what she had done to them? She couldn't help it! Children were so cute! She loved to see them cry, beg, and obey her every command! Why couldn't she do whatever she wanted to them? Her parents always scolded her and hit her when she even made a slight mistake. Compared to them, isn't she very nice? She only played with the children twice or thrice every month!

Being the psycho that she was, Jiang Lin convinced herself with an abnormal psychic situation that she wasn't in the wrong. She had every right to do whatever she wanted. Why should anyone stop her? The orphanage children didn't like her? Then she'd find new children to play with.

Giggling mirthfully, Jiang Lin looked like a shy girl who had received the best present in her life. If anybody knew what she truly had in mind, they would have no doubt called the police and see if there were any asylums nearby.
