Chapter 48

The day of the war soon came again. This time there were 4 Rank 3 Warriors leading the charge from both sides!

The war shocked the entire city. Blood flowed for three days straight as the battle continuously raged on.

Somewhere deep in the battlefield, One of Samuels Dogs of War was fighting three Low Rank 1 Warriors and he was far outnumbered.

He had beads of sweat pouring down his face, as his sword waved frantically to block the constantly thrusting horns. His sword twisted slightly, slicing a horn off one of the nearest beasts before piercing its brain.

But before he could celebrate a successful killing his eyes looked down and widened with surprise.

A deep crimson horn pierced his body with a thumping heart impaled on the edge of the horn.

Samuel hidden in the underground basement was almost numb to the death prompts. Over these two days 20 Dogs of War died. All of which were turned into Spiritual Forms by the tomb.

The battle continued for another 2 days before finally ending in the Humans Victory. Of course this is only in the FieldView city.

Samuel constantly heard news of Cities being occupied by the Eleflares and millions of mortals slayed. Of course there was equally high news of Eleflares being defeated and pushed away.

But the best news definitely came from the Dragon Continents Super city. A Rank 9 Eleflare was actually killed under the group attack of 3 Rank 9 humans!

There were also many Rank 8s killed and millions of lower Rank Eleflares!

Samuel himself gained another 200 Points in the RaceWar System, bringing his total up to 300. Enough for some mediocre talents and basic beast bloodlines.

But unfortunately all the cheapest Facilities cost a thousand points or more.

Despite the Talents and Bloodlines being beneficial, the Facilities are much more beneficial than the cheaper Bloodlines and talents.

The best bloodline that Samuel could afford is a Tauren Bloodline, increasing the strength and endurance of the Warrior but causing them to be easily angered.

This bloodline cost 300 points but Samuel was unwilling to purchase it. Even though it could make a Dog of War 1 enemy to 3 in the low ranks, the true benefit is actually quite low.

Samuel had his eyes fixed on one of the cheaper Facilities, the Conception Hall. Costing 1,000 Points it is one of the more cost-effective facilities that Samuel found.

[Conception Hall- Within a certain radius there is a 100% Bonus to conception rates.]

Although it is a small description it is incredibly beneficial in the long run. Double the birth rates!

For Warriors the birth rates get lower and lower the stronger they are. Although Rank 1 Warriors don't have a super low Birth Rate it still takes a lot of effort.

This is why there are only close to 600 children despite there being thousands of concubines.

And the conception rates are even lower for those with special bloodlines. Although there is only one so far, there will inevitably be more and more in the future and Samuel wanted something to boost the conception rates.

Of course Samuel still needed 700 more points in order to afford the Hall.

So Samuels really didn't have much to do right now. His warriors were all still fighting and then battle was estimated to last at least another day.

At the same time the top combat power of the human race and the Eleflares in Fieldview city were stuck in a stalemate.

The eleflares were at a natural disadvantage, they had nowhere to rest or anywhere to actually recuperate.

Whereas the humans would occasionally switch out ensuring they were always fighting with their top combat power.

This is actually the main reason why racial wars between two planets on the same level rarely happen.

The defending race can rest and restore their strength whenever they want but the Eleflares can't. They need to travel through the portals which would take a lot of time.

And for a small city, FieldView City is already reasonably strong. Not to mention some of Samuels Dogs of War stand out among the pack, although not one against ten but some are at least enough to kill their opponent.

After a final day of tough fighting, the Human guards of FieldView City came out on top. Only 2,000 of the original ten thousand Eleflares returned alive and the Rank 3 Powerhouses were even more pitiful.

Only 1 survived while the other three were executed on the spot.

But it wasn't scott free for the Human Warriors either, Samuels dogs of war lost another 5, bringing the top losses to over 25!

But the overall human warriors killed reached a staggering 5,000! This is a shocking amount of deaths, keep in mind there was originally only 100 Warriors in the exterior section before the racial war.

Although that number rocketed when all the warriors hidden in the Eternal Battlefield returned, a majority of the losses still came from the Warrior Organisations in the interior section of the city.

The SeaLife Organisation alone lost 300 members!

But their gains were equally huge, the SeaLife Organisation killed over three thousand Eleflares! Including multiple Rank 2s and even 1 of the Rank 3s!

Samuels own gains were decent as well, his Dogs of War killed over three hundred Eleflares this time. The sheer profit brought by this made Samuel incredibly excited.

After the Spiritual Crystals and bodies were distributed Samuel actually received 412 Spiritual Crystals !

Naturally the first thing he did was spend some to purchase the corpses from other Organisations who were more than willing to sell them.

In the end he spent over a hundred Spiritual crystals to purchase 800 more Corpses! If it was before the Race War these corpses would be worth easily close to a thousand Spiritual Crystals!

But the prices won't return to that rate for at least a couple hundred years. But the resources stay at the same quality, despite there being a much larger quality.

So Samuel still sees this as a good exchange, he would purchase more but the rest are all in the hands of stronger Organisations who can also see the value in these products.

As for the remaining 312 Spiritual Crystals, they were all traded into 1 Inch Spiritual Root Warriors. Although the number is already high, it is unlikely that Samuel will be able to afford a 2 Inch Spiritual Root Warrior anytime soon.

According to the battle patterns, the next time that the Eleflares will launch an invasion won't be for at least a year. And in a year Samuel isn't confident to gain any Spiritual Crystals.

No one can enter the Eternal Battlefield while they are under attack. This is to prevent all the warriors from simply entering the battlefield to run.

But this also means that there is no possibility of earning Spiritual Crystals until the Eleflares invade again, so Samuel wouldn't be able to earn up to a thousand Spiritual crystals in a year!

So Samuel immediately spent all of the Crystals on 1 Inch Spiritual root Dogs of War!
