Surprise of the night

It was a late night in the palace, the emperor called his empress to his quarters. As she was walking there a tall man with long dark hair came around the corner, She was startled when she realized it was just the head knight of the kingdom's army. He said "Boo!", She jumped a bit but she laughed it off as if they we're good friends. The man chuckled at her. As he escorted her to the emperor's quarters they talked for a bit. The empress stopped at the emperor's door and the man opened it for her being that she was the empress after all. So of course he had to, The man said "Your majesty, The empress is here." The emperor got up and guided his wife to the bedroom. The emperor said "Do you know why I called you here Minako?". The empress responded "No, What is it that you want?". It was silent for a minute as the emperor walked back and fourth thinking about how he would say this to her. Minako got up and walked towards the emperor, She lightly hugged onto him and said "Noa, It's ok just take it steady and tell me what's going on." Noa hugged her back and said "Minako, I want you to marry the emperor of Kofun kingdom.." Minako let go of Noa and backed up into a wall and started brawling her eyes out thinking "Why would Noa ever ask me of such a thing..? Am I not enough for him? Is there something wrong with me? I don't understand.." Noa said "Minako please! Calm down!" Minako asked "Wh..Why?? Am I not enough? Do you have another lover..?" Noa just stood looking at her in silence. Minako had caught on by the time he was ready to say something and she said "I really never was enough for you.. So now you're just going to pass me on to someone I don't even know. I can't believe you and to think that I've been carrying your child the past 4 months.." Minako busted the bedroom door open and ran out of the palace. Noa just stood there thinking about what he had done. He couldn't believe Minako was pregnant this whole time and he didn't even know. "I guess I never really did pay attention to the woman who truly loved me to death.." Thought Noa.
