I was still deep in thought when my phone beeped, I jerked up from the bed, went under the bed where I kept it, I pressed the pass code and it opened,

I checked the notification that just came in I thought it was the money my dad promised to send me only to see 50 unread messages I wasn't in the miid to chat but at least I could read and pass I thought then clicked the notification and the message displayed, I scrolled through the messages and one of them was from Lucy, I opened the message and read it to myself

it was a long message I scrolled through it and passed after some minutes she sent a hi I also read and pass the message, I think she was timing the messages at exactly 10mins she dropped another message,

hey gracious is me Lucy or you forgot pls reply me with an eye emoji

I replied her, hmmm

she sent the eye emoji

what's wrong, you don't sound yourself

gracious: yh, my mood is bad

Lucy: should I come and brighten up your mood

that sentence got to my head, I was like are you for real within me

I wanted to agree and ask her to come over but on a second thought I decided to respect myself since we are at her fathers house,

from there the conversion picked up and we got into a long discussion that I forgot about all my worries

Lucy: I want to sleep,

gracious: OK, good night we talk tomorrow,

Lucy: sweet dreams sweetheart sleep tight

gracious:/sending a two confused eyes emoji, am I the sweetheart I said

Lucy: lol you deserve am joor

she replied sending a love and a laughter emoji,

I just laughed while thinking of what to answer her, I type i delete i type again and I delete after I finally got myself to make up something I discovered she was already offline I hissed and left the message to attend to other messages as I was already in the mood thanks to Lucy,

I dropped my phone as I was busy thinking again, when I remembered how Lucy called me sweetheart,

but wait oo what does it mean for a girl to call you sweetheart I imagined,

those thus mean what am thinking my small brain keep interfering in my thinking

I was still thinking when I slept off, I was woken from sleep by Chioma the house last born,

I jumped up from the bed while I felt some strings moving on my body truly I thought it was a cane but then I discovered it was Chioma

I just looked at her with this look of why you scare me

she bursted out laughing,

gracious: what's funny about this now

chioma: hahaha you should have seen your face, looking angry fits you well

gracious: hmmm madam you din scare life comot my body

Chioma: sorry sorry am really sorry forgive me, anyway mom is looking for you,

gracious: OK tell her say I dey come I said picking up my toothpaste and brush to go freshen up.

Vicky: you should go boarder a taxi we are going to the hospital now to go pick up my husband, on hearing husband my heard cracked I gave her this evil glare but had to control myself something keeps telling me this woman is doing to keep me in her pulse,

I just left without uttering a word to her

while going to the junction to find a taxi I was busy imagining,

while did she has to mention her husband why didn't she use my boss instead, mtww she is truing to her me jealous, it won't work I half screamed, after I almost screamed I turned around then took notice that I was in a crowded area so this people wont mistake me for a mad man I thought before flagging down a taxi which took us to the hospital.
