Chapter 36. Opportunity

Luis picked up the call on his cell phone. He took a deep breath before answering it.

"Hello, good morning Mr. Jhonas, how are you?" Luis answered his call.

"[Morning Luis, I'm fine but not my girl,]" There was a moment of silence. "[Did something happen when Lusi visited Indonesia?]"

Mr. Jhonas is careful in asking, he doesn't want to hurt the good relationship that has existed for years between the Jhonas family and the Adijaya family.

"Um, last time I was with Lusi, she was fine, I even drove him to the airport when she said she wanted to visit Australia. How is Lusi there, Mr. Jhonas?" Luis made small talk.

"[Lusi is mostly silent and likes to shut himself in a room. If you have free time, please take the time to visit Lusi here. I believe you can always keep her in a good mood.]"

Mr. Jhonas sighed several times, worrying about the state of her only daughter.

"Good Mr. Jhonas, I'll check the schedule first," Luis replied, still respecting Mr. Jhonas.

As I thought, it's not that easy to make Lusi give up. She's also the kind of stubborn woman, Luis said to himself. Luis sighed in annoyance that his problem with Lusi wasn't over.

Luis reached for his cellphone to get rid of his annoyance, thinking he wouldn't bring hockey if he was in a bad mood in the morning.

"Honey, I just walked away from you. I've missed you, I'll see you in the afternoon," Luis diverted his mind so that the mood would be good again. He sent a short message to Winda.

"[Ok, dear.]" Winda replied briefly, maybe because she was busy with her patient.

Luis smiled as he read Winda's short message, which made the atmosphere bright in the morning. This man couldn't wait to see their meeting this afternoon.

Luis looks so diligent in checking important documents on his desk. He checked each document and read them one by one carefully.

Niko enters the room solving Luis's concentration in researching work documents, but his eyes are still focused on reading each sentence in the document.

"Young master Luis, I want to convey a message from Mr. Hermawan," said Niko, taking his master's attention.

Instantly Luis straightened his head looking at Niko because he was interested in the message he was carrying. Niko said that if there is a message from Mr. Hermawan it means his future father-in-law. Luis smiled because of his dream. Luis's hand gave a code to Niko to say the message he was carrying.

"Mr. Hermawan conveyed that the project in Malaysia is experiencing a few problems, so he invites you to revisit the location and building design because there are several points that are not right," Niko waited patiently for a response from Luis after he finished delivering his message.

"All right, immediately you schedule my official trip and immediately let me know when the date is confirmed," Luis ordered.

"Fine, I'll prepare immediately" Niko bowed his head begging to resign to carry out the task. Luis replied by nodding his head.

Luis played the pen on his long, sturdy fingers. His eyes were sharp looking at the laptop in front of him but his mind was still digesting the message his assistant had just conveyed.

Luis seemed to be deep in thought. Luis seemed to be devising a plan, then his lips smiled with satisfaction as if he had found what he wanted.

"Um, business trip, just as well as take a vacation. It's been a while since I was on vacation," murmured Luis, smiling meaningfully.

Changing the morning shift to the afternoon shift at the ER department. Ari began to look normal in his attitude, he no longer bothered or acted strange to Winda. In changing shifts, even Ari has shown a slightly intimate attitude with Risa. They both looked at each other affectionately and occasionally seemed to touch each other's hands or arms.

Did jealousy land in Winda's mind? Ough, of course, that sentence couldn't possibly happen. There is no feeling left for his ex-boyfriend Even Winda feels very lucky because she is free from a perverted man named Ari.

Winda is very grateful to the Creator for still cherishing her by showing Ari's shameless deeds so that Winda finds the best way. Not being a disobedient child who goes against his parents for a love that is not worth fighting for.

Winda returns home and tells her mother that this afternoon Luis will come to the house. The mother feels happy like a mother who has not seen his son for a long time. Uhm, Winda feels jealous to see Mother's concern for Luis. A mother who always devotes completely love to her only daughter. Now, Winda must be willing to share Mother's love with her lover, but Winda is happy, which means her lover has been well received by Mother. Mother Puspitasari immediately prepared the ingredients for the dinner menu.

It was late afternoon, Luis came alone. Luis rarely takes Niko if he goes to Winda's house because he doesn't want his Quality time with the Hermawan family to be disturbed.

Tonight they have dinner for the three of them because Winda's father is still in Malaysia on business. In the middle of dinner, Luis shared his plans for a business trip to Malaysia soon. Luis also invited Winda and Bunda Puspitasari to join him as well as on vacation.

"How about it, Mother? After all, my father was there too, consider it a family vacation but I joined it," Luis offered to Bunda Puspitasari.

"Um, Mother is lazy to travel far, preferring to be at home. Can you just go with Winda?" The mother looks for excuses because she doesn't want to bother her child. Provide an opportunity for the two of them to get closer together.

Luis glanced at Winda, "What do you think, dear?" Luis hopes Winda will answer yes.

"If Mother gives permission, I'll just go on. Later, I just have to apply for leave to the hospital," said Winda casually as she continued to eat her dinner.

"Ok, I'll get the plane tickets straight and hot-" Luis looked excited.

"Eits, no hotel," said Bunda quickly interrupting Luis's words. "Let Winda live with her father there." Mother is assertive, Mother gives freedom but still knows the boundaries.

"Sorry Mother, let Winda stay with me, later we will stay at Sis Lisa's house," Luis seduced Bunda.

Mother finally allowed, Mother Puspitasari always looked after her only child properly, she taught her how to be a good woman who can maintain her boundaries in relationships.

Winda tidied up the dining table and washed dishes in the kitchen, her hands full of soap foam.

"Need help?" Luis hugged Winda from behind, wrapped his arms around Winda's slender waist, Luis's chin was placed on Winda's right shoulder. "Can I help you?" Luis kissed Winda's flushed cheek.

Winda immediately elbowed Luis in the stomach, causing Luis to complain that his stomachache was touched by Winda's sharp elbow.

"You are disturbing, not helping," said Winda, glancing at Luis, who was still grimacing in pain.

"Didn't I help him with love?" Luis bragged.

Uwuuu, Luis is the best at teasing Winda. Hehehe
