The world was functioning normally. Alan was a normal school boy. Alan was bored of his average life style. Alan didn't have many friends but he was fine with that.
"Alan, did you know today we are having a solar eclipse?" asked Ryan
"Yea, I heard it in the news" said Alan
"Apparently the school has arranged the rooftop so students can observe the solar eclipse, are you coming?" asked Ryan
"I'll pass, it would be too crowded there. Anyways I have seen one once. You go, I'll stay here" said Alan
"You do you Alan, bye" said Ryan as he walked towards the stairs
Alan was standing by the window, looking outside. Alan was observing, the darkness enveloping the light. It was completely dark now, Alan get to switch on the lights. Suddenly the building started to shake. Alan tightly gripped the door for support. Alan heard screaming from above. As the building stopped shaking and suddenly screaming stopped.
"Did something happened?" Alan thought to himself. Alan ran towards roof top. There was a humanoid creature feeding on his school mates. Alan's eyes widened to see his friends killed and dismembered. Alan was paralyzed in place due to shock. Suddenly the creature appeared behind Alan. Alan ran into the roof until he tipped and fell.
"Who are you? What you want?" asked Alan
"Your flesh" said the creature.
The creature leaped at Alan, grabbed him from his throat and lifted him up. Alan struggled to get off but to no avail. The creature digged it's claws into Alan's gut. Alan screamed in pain.
"Ahhhhhhhh, Please stop this" said Alan helplessly.
The demon started to tighten his grip on Alan's throat, starting to choke him. Alan was struggling to breath. His vision was getting blurry and his head was getting dizzy. Alan thought that his life was coming to an end as the creature tighten his throat further. Alan's life started to flash before his eyes.
Suddenly the creature released Alan from his grip and Alan fell to the floor. Alan grasped for air, and looked at the creature. The creature's hand was slashed away. Alan looked around to see what has happened. Alan saw a man with katana who has come to save his life. The creature and the man locked eyes. In the blink of an eye, the man slashed the creature's head off. The creature's head rolled away as the body started to disintegrate. The man sheathed his katana and walked towards Alan.
