In the ancient sands of Egypt, a legendary pact between a vengeful Pharaoh and a powerful djinn forged a mystical artifact known as the Key of the Pharaoh. This Key, a prism pulsating with formidable power, allowed the Pharaoh to wield extraordinary might and vanquish djinn, shaping Egypt's destiny for generations. As each Pharaoh inherited the Key, the djinn's spirit merged with them, guiding Egypt through centuries of power and turmoil until Cleopatra, the last known bearer, passed away. With her death, the Key vanished, djinn began to proliferate, and Egypt faced the threat of Roman conquest without the protection of its ancient rulers. Following Cleopatra’s demise, ancient towers known as Crypts emerged from the sands, filled with monsters, traps, and untold treasures. These hidden strongholds, rumored to hold the Pharaohs' secrets and the lost Key, drew adventurers from across the land. This led to the rise of a new profession: Crypt Hunters, brave explorers seeking fortune and glory within the perilous depths of the Crypts. Among them is Khaelan, a 19-year-old Crypt Hunter and the only son of Anubis, the god of death. Raised by his half-sister Sybil, a demigod and leader of the Crypt Hunter guild Anubis House, Khaelan is driven by a quest to find his father and harness the Key of the Pharaoh's power. As Khaelan and Sybil lead their guild through dangerous Crypts, they battle djinn, uncover ancient secrets, and navigate the shifting tides of power in a land where ancient magic and mortal ambitions collide.
