Traversing through a worlds unknown. He reaches for the peak of not a mountain but existence itself, for he is the owner and ruler of all sin itself. Watch as he steals the strength from the corpse of his enemies and decimates all who oppose him in the next wave. ----------------------------------------------------------------- This is a little work that i did in my free time a few years back. If you like what i have i will go back to re-write it and add plenty of chapters at my own pace.
A thick smell of blood invaded the air, and smoke from burning corpses just served to irritate the nostrils as one breathed in.
The battle had merely ended not even a few minutes prior, yet on a hill sat a youth whom was drenched in the rain.
The youth sat there absorbing the surroundings and imprinted the scene into his memories. This was the first full on battlefield he sat in, yet he felt at ease and at home almost as if he was born where he sat. He breathed in the blood-soaked air and said to himself in a questioning manner….
"…How the hell did all this exactly begin?"
He spoke these words as if he was truly wondering, yet he knew that it happened not long ago. It was the beginning of the largest journey in his life… His rise in power.
The youth slowly sat up and took to his feet while dislodging his sword from a corpse. After attuning to his surroundings and re-obtaining what sanity he lost in the battle, he noticed that the hill he was placed upon was in fact a man-made mountain of corpses. And the liquid that fell from the sky was in fact a blood rain. Slowly the youth had let out a smile, a grin so horrifying that if others saw they'd collapse and the youth finally said to himself…
"Well… That was fun, I should go join wars more often."
The youth finally left with chuckle exiting his mouth. And his mind… well, he recalled how he got to where he was today. This bloody fucking day.
