DEAD NO MORE

Alison Taylor was at her high school filling out some paperwork for a class trip for spring break trip her senior class, turning in the permission form to Mr. Baker in the office.

Someone drapes over their arm on Ali's shoulder then kisses her cheek, she smiles seeing her best friend Brian Linkin who was standing at the height over six foot tall with his Sandy blonde curls brushing across her face making her giggle.

" Brian...did you turn in the slip " Ali said after signing the sheet that their teacher had on the counter and takes a print out of what and where they are going.

" Yes, I just came to see what all we need to bring with us for the trip to the mountains" Brian said as Mr. Baker hands both of them copies of what they can or cannot bring.

" camping gear...only if we don't want to share the large tents the school will bring, I'm definitely bringing my own gear and you know how dad is a survivalist freak." Ali said when she pulls out her phone that's vibrating in her pocket .

" speak of the devil " Ali said with a smile on her face, she reads the text then sighs as what her father just sent via text.

(" Ali my best friend Angie's daughter who just transferred today will be attending the camping trip, when you pick up your things just make sure that Lillian has everything as well ") Jake sent a text to his daughter, Ali smiles then sends a thumbs up back to her father then pulls Brian out of the office to go use her fathers credit card to get the things that they'll need.

They went to a store that sells hunting and camping gear, at their home they have things that she'll know that her father is already preparing for them to take.

" I'm definitely getting this pack of pepper spray for bears or other predators that they might come across since Santana mountains is a dangerous place and he would feel better having protection even though they'll have professional hunters and guides.

" oh look at the machetes...I'm definitely getting this one, it comes with an axe and also a fire starter, fishing gear, med kit, para cord. Well it comes with a bunch of things, I'm going to grab each of us." Brian said grabbing four packs making Ali furrow her brows, she walked away handing a worker there the list with a list her father made as well.

" Is Jake heading back out to the wild " An older man said while glancing over her dad's list with a smile on his face and calls over a young man who works with him.

" Ali give us a minute and we will get all of this ready, do we need to get Brian's together as well " The man asked looking over at Brian who was now grabbing four pairs of bows with several boxes of arrows.

" Yes please and um dad wants the order he placed the other day " Ali said picking up a new bow gun off the counter as she tinkered with it having an expressed look on her face.

" oh Ali you'll get us each one of those...please " Brian said while pouting at his friend who rolls her eyes at him then slowly nods while waving over a female worker.

" can you tell them I need five of these with three boxes of arrows for each one, the older man nods his head at the young woman who started getting those together.

" ok well this list is pretty large, how about we load out truck up and deliver them..I need to speak with Jake anyway" the older man said as Brian pushes his buggy to the counter that was already filled to the top.

" well I'm thankful we will have ATVs with us " Ali said looking at how much gear they'll be taking, they leave the store then head up to her house that's secluded away from the town.

" Calista keeps bugging me about you, why don't you all work this out and it's not like she can control what her family does " Brian said looking over at Ali while they turn off a dirt road to get to her father's house.

" I know that Brian, but what if her dad's right about me bringing her down." Ali said with a pained expression as Brian rolls his eyes at what she said.

" look he's hardly ever there but once a month, he's a scientist who cares more about work and I dought he knows how to interact with people anyway...he's only worried about getting more funding for whatever project he's working on inside that facility, which I still think they're doing some weird stuff up there " Brian said making Ali giggle, she nods her head with a smile.

" I'm going to see if she'll come over so we can talk" Ali said pulling in front of a large cabin that has large metal containers stacked in different locations with a twelve foot steel fence surrounding the property.

" good...well when the delivery gets here I'm guessing we'll start packing up since we've gotta leave by five in the morning" Brian said as he gets out of the car, they see several vehicles parked in the driveway and only notice one of them which belongs to Lillian's family.

" well Calista is going to be mad about this for sure, do we know if she's allowed to go on this trip with us." Brian said carrying several bags out from the trunk, Ali shrugs her shoulder then starts hauling bags inside the kitchen door and after several trips they go to find her father.

" Dad " Ali said when she walks into the living room seeing over seven people occupying the room, she looks over at a stunning girl who looks to be around her age and she kept taking glances at her while Jake and Brian were smirking at her.

" Ali, you remember your childhood friend Lillian." Jake said while motioning his hand toward the girl with black hair and some Asian features.

" Y-YES" Ali answers but it came out loud and strained, the girl smiles at how nervous Ali is being and how cute she is when she blushes.

" it's nice to see you Ali " Lillian said with a wink making the other girl swallow hard, Brian Snickers then whispers in Ali's ear.

" yes you are screwed, but if Calista will like her then it's smooth sailing for you " Brian said with a knowing smirk how they've included a partner before, maybe this time it'll work out for the couple.

" well she actually has always been fond of Lillian when we were younger" Ali said noticing Lillian walking over to them so she elbows Brian in his ribs making the boy groan in pain.

" I can't wait to go camping again with you " Lillian said stepping closer to Ali whose breath hitched in her throat at their close proximity.

The door bell goes off and Jake her father goes to answer the door where the old man and the young female were standing, the man waves at two male workers outside to start unloading the truck.

" See if Ali still doesn't remember you Len " the man said nudging his granddaughter toward the other three, the blonde seen how the other girl kept touching Ali so she quickly walks over and introducing herself.

(" wait Len....is she really the girl I went to grade school with, my first crush and the girl who I first dated to only find out her parents moved her away.") Ali thought to herself as she stares at the beauty in front of her, she looks over to notice Brian was smirking at her so she rams her elbow into his ribs again.

" well Ali it looks like Calista is here " Her father Jake says from the front door when a girl with platinum hair quickly enters with a scowl on her face making Ali tense up with the look on her face.

" umm excuse me for a moment" Ali said walking over and dragging Calista upstairs with her to her bedroom, she could feel the killing intent coming from her girlfriend.

" who are those two girls " Calista said flatly with a stone cold expression as she walks over to Ali's bed taking a seat.

" well it's Lillian and Len, remember we all were friends growing up" Ali said wasting no time for Calista to get any ideas, her face changes from cold to happy within a few seconds.

" really.... wow I haven't seen them in years and damn did they grow up gorgeous " Calista said patting the bed beside her to which Ali wasted no time to sit down beside her.

" I want to apologize for my father again, it doesn't matter what he thinks or the stupid plans he tries to do. I'm in love with you and no one can change that" Calista said then quickly kisses Ali with a hungry kiss.

" Ali I need both of you to come down stairs to get your things ready for tomorrow and Calista we got your things as well " Brian said through the door as the two giggle then hug each other tightly before heading back down stairs.
