Dragon Forge, New Londo Raid, and 4 Kings.

To say that the Dragon Forge was powerful was a huge understatement. Maybe because when he first saw it in action it was just a memory, but the sheer heat and aura coming from it was scorching.

The flames of an Everlasting Dragon were hot enough to melt nearly anything they touched even metal. Exceptions were this forge was made for the single purpose to contain the power of the flames for weapons and armor.

To make matters worse only a blacksmith like Andre and Cough who were made for this kind of environment could work in such a forge. Amara had taken her spot and she was blasting the forge with her scorching flames nonstop.

All of Adrian's gear was removed and he was wearing a comfortable tunic while Andre worked on the weapons, Cough worked on the armor as they both of them put all of their skill to the test.

Massive chains made of Titnite dragged the weapons and armor inside the forge to heat them up only to be brought out to meld the material in. Everyone was watching them work as their gear would be next.

Adrian watched as his Fume Knight Ultra Greatsword was bright red and Andre started to hammer in the Twinkiling Flame Titanite over and over again. Each time it happened the blade absorbed the material's power to refine its rough stone-like material.

Seraphine waked next to him as she looked at the skill being displayed. The Fume Ultra Greatsword usually looked like a slab of stone, but it bean to take metallic properties.

"You were already powerful, how strong will you be after?"

Adrian smiled with pride looking at his gear.

"Very, but I am going into the Abyss. I need gear of legend, a will of iron, and some luck. Now, once they finish and rest I think it will be your turn. Those two swords need some work don't they?"

She nodded, but she stopped talking as she looked at the giant sword of Adrian. It no longer looked like a slab of stone, but instead looked like a slab of black steel. The former rough and blunt edge started to become a proper edge on the weapon.

Andre's instinct told him it could contain no more and he brought out a slab. First, it was reheat and when the sword entered the forge, the dragon flames seemed to surge inside as red veins appeared all over the sword. When the sword came out for the last time he placed the slab down and no forging was needed.

The weapon devoured the slab like a hungry void and once that happened a series of magic symbols appeared for a few seconds before they entered the blade. The weapon was finished, but it was just one of many that needed work.

It took over 24 hours of hard forging, but all of Adrian's gear contained a titanite slab. Andre and Cough put their hammers down and Amara stopped filling the dragon forge. She could produce fire nearly without stop but a break was nice.

Each piece shined with a metallic shine and contained small crackling embers. Both swords were complete so Adrian approached his gear and placed them all in his inventory. When he equipped it all and the gear touched his skin he felt so much power coursing through his body.

He flexed his whole body causing the armor to ignite in a blaze of rolling flames. He drew both swords that now were weapons of legend in this world. He ran his finger down the edge of the Fume Knight Ultra Greatsword and he heard the crisp sound of the metal.

"Andre, Cough this is perfection."

Both blacksmiths were exhausted as the work was hard and the forge hot. They both sat down as they admired their work. They looked at the rest of the ones who wanted their work, but Andre broke their hope.

"I am not doing that for a week."

Cough nodded.

"Tired. Rest needed. Come back next week."

Seraphine understood as they worked without rest in such an environment that a break was well deserved. August, Solaire, and the rest of the Fume Knights were disappointed. They thought they would all get their legendary weapons now.

"Well, that is disappointing but understandable."

Everyone had to agree with Solaire as it would be too much to expect them to work in the dragon forge for days on end. Adrian removed his helmet and whistled to get their attention.

"Gear up, we set off for New Londo."

"YES, CAPTAIN!"

All of the knights started to prepare as they knew what their captain was going to do. New Londo was full of ghosts and Dark Wraiths in hibernation under the water and they planned to clear the way for him.

Solaire left him and Seraphine alone as he wanted to prepare for the attack. Seraphine looked at Adrian's eyes and smiled.

"Good luck Adrian. While you fight the 4 Kings, you can count on us to hold the Dark Wraiths back."

Sif howled to the sky as he was wagging his tail ready for a good fight. He sat next to Adrian as even though Artorias was gone, he still had his friend with him. Adrian noticed how Priscilla did not look too sure about it.

"Priscilla, come here. I know you want to say something."

She did as he said as she stood in front of him. He held her hands and felt her trembling.

"You are scared. Why?"

She looked at his face and smiled bitterly.

"I just got you back, uncle. I don't want what happen to Artorias to happen to you."

Adrian nodded.

"Yeah, I still believe I should have gone with him to Oolacile. If only I had been there to help him my brother would be alive. However, I do not plan to join him. I will go down there, kick the asses of the traitors and be back in time for dinner."

Seraphine rested on his side as she wondered where he got that confidence. She looked at Priscilla and reassured her.

"In the time I have known the big lug he has been nothing but fearless and undefeatable. This will be a simple challenge for him. Come on Priscilla, Sif, let's get some armor on you two for the battle."

Adrian nodded.

"You should do as she says both of you. More armor will do you more good to survive better in the fight.

Priscila knew her coat would not really protect from swords and blades so some armor would do better. Sif mostly fought with his sword so armor was a must for him as it left his neck vulnerable.

"Ok."

Seraphine went to help her find some armor that would fit her as she was quite large. However, she was around the height of an average Fume Knight so maybe they would have something in her size.

They prepared for 2 hours and once everything was ready they met outside of Anor Londo. They were all armed to the teeth and each Fume Knight carried several Transient curses on their belts as it was the only way to hit ghosts.

Even Sif and Priscilla had heavy plate armor as they had the strength to wear it. Before they set off Adrian looked at all of them as they were going to take place in this attack.

(Sif's armor.)

"Well, we are off to take on a scourge of the past. New Londo, and we know it is filled with ghosts and Darkwraiths. Sounds like Wednesday."

All of the Fume Knights chuckled as they got the joke. August slammed his Dragonspear in the ground as it crackled with lightning.

"Well, off we go to another battle for the ages as the captain goes and faces a cursed abyss. Sounds fun, wish It was me as I know I would do better."

This started an argument among the Fume Knights about who was the most powerful. Still, they all knew the answer was Adrian and August as they had proven themselves. Priscilla, Seraphine, and Solaire did not get how Fume Knights hyped each other up by bringing hope as low as possible. It was like they took joy from the bleakness of the world.

Adrian smiled as he was ready to face the Abyss.

"Well come on then, time for war."

They all jumped on Amara as she flew toward the sealed gate in the valley of the Drakes. At her side were Scorn and Devastator who were more than ready to help. As for Russ, the poor Drake was following from behind as he still felt that Amara would eat him.

Finally when they arrived at the giant door, it was easy to see the remains of the former city of New Londo.

"Blast that door down."

All three dragons inhaled giant breaths of air and blasted the titanite door with the destructive force of dragons. The giant door was blasted apart as the water rushed out of the city. Already they could feel the heavy feeling in the air so they got ready.

Adrian walked forward into the ruins and just from a glance it was obvious the Darkwraiths had survived all this time underwater. Sleeping to preserve humanity and their lives, but when they sensed humanity they began to awaken.

Not to mention the ghosts began to converge toward them find droves.

"USE THE TRANSIENT CURSES! Kill the Dark Wraiths before they fully awaken."

All of them did as he said and doing this would allow them to hunt ghosts. Sif's sword was coated in the curse energy as he slashed apart any ghosts that had the misfortune of attacking him.

As for Priscilla, she was the bane of life itself as Life Hunt could affect even ghosts. Adrian drew his new upgrades swords and charged out to a barely awake Dark Wraith as he swung his longsword down.

The sword burned bright red and cut the wraith in half like a hot knife through butter. Not wanting to be left behind the raiding party continued in the equivalent of a dungeon. As more and more Dark Wraiths were roused it was clear there were hundreds to deal with.

Solaire rained lightning down on them without pauses the other got right and personal with the foes. Seraphine looked at Adrian and pushed him forward.

"Go and kill the kings, we got the Wraiths."

Sif nodded as his wolf helmet made him look even cooler.

"Fine, you all better be alive when I get back."

Adrian rushed forward as he had a general idea of where to go. Many Dark Wraiths, Ghosts, and all manner of creatures tried to stop him, but they were failing. His swords cut them down like leaves so he decided to go all out.

His armor turned him into a flaming torch as every swing of his weapons launched waves of fire at them. He felt the Covenant of Artorias guide him and for a second he heard a faint whisper.

'Go.'

It made Adrian smile as he jumped into the pit of the Abyss. The Abyss tried to devour him, but his armor, weapons, and the ring kept him safe. When he landed in the abyss it was a void of pure darkness and just being here made him feel in danger.

His armor still burned keeping it at bay and now he had 4 angry corrupted beings to deal with. The 4 kings started to emerge from the Abyss, and all at once. Seeing them made Adrian pop his neck as he walked toward them.

"Mind my manners, but I need your souls."

He charged forward as the 4 Kings roared in rage and hungering for the humanity he had. He charged forward like a beacon of fire in the darkness as he was still on fire. It was taking magic from him, but his mighty soul kept producing more for him.

The kings blasted him with sorceries as they tried to kill him, but he dodged and blocked with his swords instead of taking them head-on. When he got in the melee he swung his longsword cutting a large wound into one of the kings.

It left a red burning wound on the king's body enraging and hurting it. It drew on the power of the Abyss to heal, but these were not just any weapons. The scar of the wound still burned with the power of dragon fire, a being before the abyss.

A spear attack went toward his face, but he dodged out of the way and connected his ultra greatsword into the ribs of another king. This time he could feel the bones break and the armor give way.

The giant slab of metal cut right into the soft flesh and it caused unimaginable agony to it. He was forced to let go of his sword as a sword swing went toward his face as magic went at his chest.

He rolled out of the way and he did something he always wanted to do. He flipped in the air like Artorias and cleaved the arm from one of the kings, but he did not wait for it to counterattack or recover.

Adrian was grabbed by one of the kings who started to power up an explosion, but Adrian condensed his flames like Star Killer and it made the king believe it had snuffed out the annoying worm.

It was dead wrong as when all 4 kings had surrounded Adrian he unleashed a storm of flames burning them all. It made them scream in agony as he took that chance to decapitate the one holding him.

He threw his sword like a javelin and it went through the chest of another one already killing 2. He rushed at the king missing an arm and he made a line he always loved.

"DON'T FUCK WITH THIS SENATOR!"

His burning fist connected with the face of the armless king and he started to pummel it to death with flaming fists. He raised his foot and stomped on the face crushing it. He walked toward the last king as he picked up his Ultra Greatsword.

He raised it high as the king no longer could fight. Its guts were hanging on the outside from the swing he had hit it with. He cleaved it in half and the 4 Kings were dead. He picked up his longsword as he knew he had to get out soon.

He had run out of magic so his armor and weapon's flame effect had run out. Now he felt the cold feeling of the Abyss, but the ring of Artorias protected him. He glanced around and he saw someone he did not want to see waiting for him.

Darkstalker Kaathe was waiting to offer his power, but he was confused. He expected an undead, but Adrian was not undead. He would have to improvise to lie to this one to do as he wished.

Too bad Adrian was going to play him instead.
