Chapter 1The White Zone

I stared up at the ceiling of the hospital as I lay in my bed listening to the heart monitors beep at unsteady rate. I wasn't going to be staying too long now. A vision of a dark hair beauty and another dangerous beautymiful female with red head angel face came into my sight. My wife the dark hair beauty Amber smiled at me with a smile that looked purely innocent. The red head beauty to her left was Fey and had snowy blue cool eyes. My former assistant.

"Amber. You came to kill me then." I asked in voice that barely above raspy throat whisper. I could barely work the words out of my mouth now.

"Honey. I already took care of that baby." She said in a voice that was like silk honey even now to my senses but the contents and message came from a black hearted bitch.

"Okay." I said. I finally gave up. I didn't have the strength any longer to keep going in my battle with Amber and nor did I have a want or desire to. I was too damn tired.

Amber smiled. "Don't worry about the company. Fey and I will take care of it. You can rest well knowing you have taken care of your wife and my lover. You may not have been a great lover but you were a great teacher and provider. In spite of everything that has happened I still love you. Do you hate me?"

"No. I'm just happy I don't have to carry your sorry ass any longer." I said. The shocked pain and embarrassment on her face was the greatest joy of my life. "You don't know how difficult it's been having to carry your sorry useless ass this far. How many hours I had to coach you to this point. You did fool me you know. I thought you would have some kind of originality in your thinking. You of course never failed to disappoint me. You needed somebody to be the asshole that would make you the mean boss bitch you are today. Just remember Amber without me you still would have been that weak willed whore turning tricks on the corner for a couple of hundred dollar bills." I said finally revealing my last secret to them and gaining the small satisfaction of seeing I won if not war but the final battle of the last say.

I closed my eyes only to wake up in another place completely bathed in a white light and emptiness. I started walking wondering about this. "Hello!" I said in greeting.

I got no answer back in return. I sighed and continued walking forward. It was the only direction I knew to take. It was the only direction I've ever gone in my life. Foreword. Keep moving forward.

I don't know how long I walked nor did I care but for the rising boredom I had encountered. I had a moment of distraction from some hapless idiot along the way who smiled at me as I walked away.

I put my hands in my pockets and sighed. In the near distance I saw a pretty young girl dressed in a white dress in the distance. She was pacing back and forth. A soul of a man burning away was beside her and I wondered about that as I drew near and started to walk onward. It was no business of mean and it just seemed like another distraction that wouldn't end my boredom any time soon.

She looked up. "Hello. My name is Luna. What's yours?" Luna asked holding out her hand to me.

I stopped taking her hand in a firm hand shake. "I'm Danny. Danny Sage." I said.

Luna nodded staring at me. "Danny Sage. I like that name. Danny would you be interested in a job?" She asked.

"Sure. It's better then walking around doing nothing. What's the job?" I asked.

Luna smiled at me. "Thank you, Danny. The job is simple you will be transferred into the body of a recently resurrected body of another person and journey into the nearest city to take on a job in the place for people in need of your skills you acquired in your former life. How does that sound to you?" She said.

I nodded my head. "Okay do I have to take on the identity of this person? Does he even have a family?" I said.

Luna shook her head. "No. Your mission is to help people in need in the city. Your work will be very important to the growth and life of the city and realm. There is a history of people such as yourself coming into that realm. Oh. Along with the new body you gain new skills in regard to helping you succeed in your new very very long adventurous life and at the end you will have my eternal thanks and a prize for your efforts in doing good and serving others as you did in your former life." She said.

I shrugged. "Okay. Sounds good to me. Pretty damn exciting really. What's the catch?" I asked.

Luna smiled. "No catch. Thank you, Danny. I wish you luck and good will through out your efforts." She said blowing a kiss to me that made me feel a breath feeling of joy before I started to falling down and down into another realm. I wondered what I would do. I wondered what kind of body I was being dropped into and then I just smiled. It didn't really matter. I was going to live again and this time I was going to do it better and right.

It was strange. This feeling. Pain. I knew about it. I had lived a life with many moments experiencing it. But, this pain was different this time. It wasn't my own kind of pain. It felt like somebody else pain as well. There was a storm raging as my soul entered this new strange world rain, thunder and lightning.

The memories came like punches to my head. I saw two beautiful women with red eyes attack me from behind ripping into my body. Their faces were cloudy shadowed in some type of magic the hid them from my vision. The pain of the memory was a shock after so long at time sense I felt it.

They yelled at me in a strange language of grunts and snarling growls that remind of wolves. I couldn't understand them but I felt an understanding. They were close to the man they were killing. The man's body I was now in now. They had attacked him with nothing but their sharp nails that looked more like claws now that I looked at them.

One of them clawed at my back while the other punched into my chest. The next second something was ripped out of me. I stared at the thing in her hand as I fell to my knees she lifted the thing up and others cheered in victory.

That's when the man that had owned the body gave up. He died a final death as magic inside him was snuffed out instantly. Holy shit. What kind of world had I been come into?
