Third Person POV
Orario.
...
...
As the tension of the War Game envelops the entire city of Orario, the presence of magical screens spread by Hermes ensures that no moment of the action is missed by the eager spectators. At the center of this broadcast is a narrator from the Ganesha Familia, known for his exciting voice and lively commentary, strategically positioned to offer the best coverage of the event.
"The game has begun!" he shouts, his voice amplified and clear, resonating through every corner of the city via the screens. His excitement is palpable, adding an extra layer of enthusiasm to the already electrifying spectacle.
Turning to the person at his side, he asks with an animated smile: "What outcome do you think will occur in this thrilling game?" His curiosity is not merely personal; it reflects the collective sentiment of the entire city, all eager and divided over the possible outcome of this colossal battle.
Suddenly, with a dramatic and unmistakable entrance, Ganesha himself, the god of the Ganesha Familia, responds with his characteristic enthusiasm: "I AM GANESHA!" His voice, powerful and full of joy, immediately captures everyone's attention.
The narrator, a bit disoriented by the sudden outburst of his god when he asked a simple question and the same responded in a strange way as always, tries to maintain composure. "Take this seriously, Ganesha-Sama!" he says, his voice mixing respect and a slight tone of reprimand.
The audience, both on the screens and in the city, reacts with laughter and applause, appreciating the moment of relaxation before turning their attention back to the intense battle that will unfold before their eyes.
After this small confusion with his own god, the narrator of the Ganesha Familia, with his resounding and enthusiastic voice, prepares to introduce the competitors of the War Game.
"Let's now talk about the competitors!" he announces, his voice filling the screens and the city. "From the side of the Heimdall Familia and the Apollo Familia, we have a formidable cast."
The narrator then turns to the Heimdall Familia, his voice growing with anticipation.
"From the Heimdall Familia, we have equally impressive competitors. Loras Forhe, the level 4 human captain, is a force to be reckoned with, bringing unparalleled power and leadership."
"Carina Lix, the fierce cat-woman warrior of level 4, is ready to show her claws and combat skills. Her determined gaze promises a relentless fight."
"Hug, the sturdy dwarf warrior of level 3, along with Carla, the elf mage, and Evelyn, the pallum archer, also of level 3, form an unbeatable front line with their diverse skills."
"Beek, Lidsey, and Lidy, an elf, a half-elf, and a human, complete the team as level 2 warriors and archers, ready to provide support and agility to their family."
"And let's not forget, the Heimdall Familia has over 60 members in its arsenal. They bring a combination of strength, skill, and numbers that should not be underestimated as the main force of this competition!"
"From the Apollo Familia, which is protecting the siege along with the Heimdall Familia, first, we introduce Hyakinthos Clio, a level 3 human. This adventurous warrior is the captain of the Apollo Familia, known for his leadership and combat skills that rely on agility and magic!"
"Next, we have Daphne Lauros and Lissos, both human and elf, respectively. These level 2 executive warriors are ready to demonstrate their strength and dexterity on the battlefield."
"Cassandra Ilion and Luan Espel represent the vital supports of the team, both level 2 and 1. While Cassandra brings her human support skills, Luan, the Pallum, is prepared to provide crucial assistance."
"Alto and Laon, both elf and of unknown race, are the mystical mages of level 1. Their spells may be the key to turning the game in favor of the Apollo Familia!"
"And of course, the family has over 100 members in total, ready to fight with all they have. Prepare for action, strategy, and strength in numbers!"
The narrator, with a final nod, concludes: "Ladies and gentlemen, these are the brave competitors who will protect the siege against their opponent, they are an unbeatable wall!"
With that, the crowd explodes into a frenzy of anticipation and enthusiasm, the names of the competitors reverberating in their conversations as they prepare to witness an unforgettable event.
The narrator of the Ganesha Familia, still vibrant with the energy of the crowd and the anticipation of the War Game, takes a dramatic pause, increasing the anticipation before introducing the last competitors.
"On the other side, who will attack the siege and defeat the king in up to 3 days, we have the brave competitors of the Hestia Familia!" he begins, his voice full of excitement. "Firstly, Bell Cranel, a level 2 human adventurer. Already known for being the fastest record holder of all time to reach level 2, he is known throughout the city, and today he leads his family with ironclad determination!"
"By his side, Welf Crozzo, the skilled blacksmith of level 1. Carrying the Crozzo name, he is ready to show the true power of his craft."
"Yamato Mikoto, also level 1, brings her skill and discipline to the battle. Her sword is as sharp as her will, and she is prepared to cut through any challenge that comes her way."
"And we cannot forget the mysterious green-haired woman, whose identity and powers are still an enigma. What will she bring to the battle? Everyone is eager to find out!"
The narrator pauses, his expression becoming a bit more serious. "However, we must note the absence of two members of Hestia. One of them is Lucius Drakenar, the mage who has caused a stir throughout the city in recent months. His absence is palpable, and many wonder if it will be part of the strategy of the Hestia Familia."
"With such brave competitors and the unknown of missing members, the Hestia Familia faces a great challenge today. But, as we well know, in Orario, the unexpected is the only certainty. Stay tuned, for I ask whether this battle will be a massacre against the Hestia Familia or a great turnaround will occur!!"
With these words, the narrator steps back, leaving the crowd to murmur and speculate. Everyone is attentive to what might happen in front of the screens.
Meanwhile, in the war game, the strategy of the two families in defending the castle reflects their internal philosophies and hierarchies. The Heimdall Familia, with its superior strength and a larger number of high-level members, positions itself strategically in the central, southern, and western parts of the castle.
Meanwhile, the Apollo Familia, though admittedly weaker, occupies the eastern part of the castle with fierce independence. They are a proud force, more accustomed to relying on their strategies and leadership than to following orders from another family. Even in the face of a common enemy, they prefer to maintain their autonomy, a decision that speaks as much of their pride as of their desire to prove their strength.
Despite their differences, both families understand the importance of keeping the castle safe for three whole days. Within the walls, above the eastern side walls, members of the Apollo Familia discuss the situation.
"We have 3 days to hold the castle..." comments a member, his voice laden with the gravity of the task ahead.
Another, with a mocking laugh, responds: "And you're afraid we're going to lose?"
"Of course not, how can we lose to a small family with level 2 members?" The response is given with a tone of disdain, a confidence that comes as much from pride as from underestimating the enemy.
No one had thought that they could lose in this game, so they seemed even unconcerned while just keeping a minimum guard against the Hestia Familia.
On the battlefield, the tense silence is abruptly broken by an unexpected presence. Ryuu, the mysterious green-haired and masked woman, lands on a nearby rock from the Apollo adventurers. Surprise and confusion spread among them quickly when they noticed her.
"Hm?!" A adventurer murmurs, noticing the lone figure.
"An enemy?" another questions, his voice mixing surprise and concern.
"But it's just started..." the phrase is interrupted, the understanding of what's happening settling in slowly.
"What are those swords of hers?" someone asks, their eyes fixed on the unusual weapons Ryuu carries.
Ryuu, disguised and mysterious, holds two magical Crozzo swords, both shimmering with latent elemental power. With a fluid and graceful motion, she leaps into the air and swings her weapons towards the castle. From her blades, a powerful energy bursts forth, firing elemental forces that fly towards the castle at an impressive speed.
*BOOOOOOOOM!!!!*
The explosion hits the wall with devastating force, creating a smoke blast and making the entire castle tremble. The impact is felt by everyone within the fortifications, setting off an immediate alarm.
"What's happening?!" Loras Forhe, as the king in the captaincy and seated on the throne, asks, his voice echoing the surprise and alarm of his companions.
"It seems they have initiated the attack on the eastern side..." Lidsey, by his side, responds murmuring.
"Let the Apollo Familia handle it. We'll take care of the central part and any attacks on the west and south of the castle as well," the commander of the Heimdall Familia orders, with everyone nodding in agreement.
In the city of Orario, everyone exclaimed with the entrance of the mysterious woman, using such strong power to knock down the wall, doubts that the Apollo and Heimdall Familia could easily win began to be heard. The narrator, however, seemed quite excited about this.
"Oooww they are magic swords!" he shouts, the words vibrating in the air and reflecting the awe and admiration of the crowd.
"Incredible!!! A hole has been created at the entrance!!" he continues, his voice growing in volume and intensity. The people around lean closer to the screens, their eyes wide and mouths open in shock.
"An opening was easily made at the start of the game on the eastern side, this is an exciting start!! What's happening in this game?!!" The narrator's question is rhetorical but echoes the confusion and excitement felt by everyone.
On the battlefield, Ryuu looks at the damage with a grim satisfaction. The plan was working; Lili, skillfully infiltrated, but unable to access the central side due to her position with the Apollo Familia, so they needed to find another opening. It was the perfect chance for the Hestia Familia to advance.
Bell, Welf, and Mikoto, arriving at the scene, see a group of adventurers from the Apollo Familia emerging from the created entrance.
"Are they coming out?! What's happening?" The commentator questions, his voice tinged with incredulity. Lili's strategy, disguised and issuing false orders, was working, but only Bell and his group knew the truth behind this bold maneuver.
In the pantheon of gods, the scene attracts the attention of many. A god, with an intrigued look, watches the consequences of the surprise attack. "It seems you are having trouble, Apollo..." he comments, his voice full of interest and a hint of provocation.
Apollo, annoyed but still full of arrogance, responds firmly. "Tsk. I still have 100 soldiers; my family will defeat Hestia immediately!" His statement is a mix of confidence and challenge, a promise that the battle is far from over.
"Even so, it's kind of suspicious your adventurers act like that..." Heimdall comments with crossed arms while looking attentively at the screen.
"The War Game begins with the Hestia Familia attacking immediately and gaining an advantage by opening a passage in the castle, now the Apollo Familia is gathering to fight the invaders from the outside, which is unexpected!" The narrator recaps the events, his voice almost drowned out by the buzz of the crowd.
Orario watches, fascinated and eager, as the first clash of the War Game unfolds. Every citizen, from adventurers to merchants, from gods to mortals, is completely involved, the city boiling with expectations and speculations on how this incredible battle will continue.
