Observations

Alex was surprised at how gorgeous the protag was since as a hunter he was expecting a more brutish looking person. it should be kept in mind that hunters were literally super human in terms of strength and durability. this is obviously not a natural thing either as alex had seen normal humans in astera struggle to lift things weighing fifty pounds. the greatsword that the field leader wields required at least a thousand pounds of lifting ability so obviously something was done that made the hunter super human but alex had no clue what.

There were a few downsides from what alex could tell , namely the frankly huge amount of calories that hunters needed to ingest in a day just to function. alex had seen the hunters putting down whole three course meals like it was nothing when he was smaller. he was curious about the process that went into making someone into a hunter but since there were no children for him the see in astera he was out of luck. this wasn't to say no children had been born in the new world merely that it had only happened three times in five decades.

The field leader was one such child born here but the other two worked different jobs than as hunters. one was a woman working at the port under the trade yard leader and the other was a researcher. on the peoples side of things only alex and those three were the assets born in the new world. This wasn't bad or anything like that it simply just showed how little the people of this world cared about controlling the world. unlike the humans on earth who dominated and destroyed the planet because they could.

Alex always found it funny how the humans on earth knew about renewable energy or clean fuels but because all of the big rich companies invested in the crude fuels anyone who threatened the money flow of those companies with their inventions were silenced. this made it impossible to fix to destruction of the planet because the solution couldn't turn a profit. this world was different thanks to the elder dragons maintaining the food chain. people in this world were unable to dominate the planet and as a result the world was a vibrant healthy place. people had grown around the monsters here rather than trying to dominate them.

A lot of people from earth would consider these people backwards and savage due to the lack of man made luxuries. but this world was far better in alex's opinion since there wasn't such a thing as class suppression here. take the admiral and fleet commander for example , despite being considered in a position of power literally anyone could show up and tell them they were wrong and they had to listen. abuse of power didn't happen in this world unless the people wanted it to happen , even then if there wasn't a good reason the hunters guild would blacklist that area leaving it hunterless and at the mercy of the monsters.

Anyway alex from it interesting that the protag was obviously from a good background since her skin wasn't tanned. most people worked under the sun in this world so for her to have such a light skin tone she obviously didn't. she obviously hadn't been a hunter for long as well since they fell in the same category of usually having darkened skin from long exposure to the sun. alex simply dragged the two monster corpses into astera as the group walked.

Alex listened to the field leader introducing the two new comers to astera with a bit of nostalgia from when he played the game and got the same introduction. the group separated from alex at the trade yard since he was too big to follow them and he needed to wait for his kills to be treated. once alex had his meal he calmly swam over to the meeting area that had been renovated to allow him to take part in the meetings. the fleet commander looked him over as he walked up the ramp to his spot.

"I take it you met the representatives of the fifth?" he asked and alex nodded. "any thoughts?" he asked curiously. alex pointed at the handle of a weapon and blew a few bubbles with his water element. "the handler is bubbly it seems , what of the other one?" the fleet commander asked calmly since it was pretty common to see alex engaging in "conversations" with people. alex just grabbed a couple of crates and pushed them together before shaking his head and pointing to an hourglass. "she seems put together but you haven't had enough time to see more than that?" the commander sought confirmation and alex nodded.
