CH 3

I was still alive but was confused and started to question everything, The cops took me in and asked questions about how did I survive or did anyone save me, I lied to them and told them that I collapsed after the asteroid hit.

They let me go, soon after a month I was able to go home while going to my house I was able to feel some difference in my body felt light I thought it might be because of not eating food correctly.

At night, everything changed though I wasn't able to sleep because of the trauma, I slept only for an hour then at midnight while I was watching Tv I suddenly heard the voices of somebody, at first I thought it was from the tv but soon the voices increased and became more clear they were screams.

I thought of checking out the noises but I was scared to do so, "Ahh... shit don't want this." I said repeatedly the screams increased more and more I couldn't do anything about it.

I build up some courage to check with a knife in hand I looked outside nothing was there as I moved more the screams were getting clear as I reached the highway I was shocked and scared. the screams were actually car noises.

Everybody was slow all the cars were slow as I stopped the cars were going normally again I hid the knife behind me and walked again as the same thing occurred I immediately knew that I was like the DC Superhero Flash.

At first, I was happy but learned I couldn't control the speed, I ran back to the house closed the door and went back to sleep which was a failure. I couldn't sleep as I repeatedly went back to the main road and all night tried to control it took time but I was able to control it.

I was able to control it now but was confused "Is this because of the asteroid." I said as I walk around the couch, I was still unaware of what caused this or flash was the only power or not. Since I read and watched anime or manga I said things like quest menu, info, status but nothing happened.

I showered and left to find a new job,

Coffee shop,

A man with white hair and blue eyes moved towards me, he was the manager of the coffee shop I told him I was looking for a job as if he could help me, "My name is Jay Guts, is this your first time?" He asked as moved his hand for a handshake. As I shake his hand to him I replied with a saying "No, it isn't my first, I just..."

Jay was the manager of the shop but he was the only worker so he immediately said yes gave me the job. "I can give you 3000 a month though will you," Jay asked, I didn't have any choice so I said yes "ok, I will come from tomorrow then," I said as I left.
