After destroying the Four magmacores the three was interrupted by a roar from a black dragon like monster with spikes almost everywhere its body, after locating the monster their quest changes to Repel Nergigante.

"Ok, I got the shield, you two do attack the guy, I'll distract our friend here" Said Tony while facing the spiky Dragon also known as Nergigante the Eater of Elders.

""Got It"" Both went to their own position which would be Nergigante's left and right.

As Archer took his position on Nergigante's left he didn't notice Nergigante's tail swipe, he was hit directly and was sent flying losing 75% of his HP, "Look Out!" Yelled Logan as the tail didn't stop and was coming to Tony who grit his teeth and block. But the force of the attack was too much that he was still knockback and lost a few HP.

"It's still going watch out!" Tony yelled as he saw the tail didn't stop after his block and was coming for Logan who then dodge the attack. He didn't get hit but the attack was so fast and strong that it caused wind pressure causing Logan to stagger backward and didn't get the chance to retaliate.

"Just try to survive and get enough damage in, I don't think we can win this" Said Archer who thought 'this is way different, I don't remember Nergigante doing that attack instantly' while chugging down a health potion he notice that Nergigante was looking at him and jump toward him which it's spiky arm and claws in front.

Archer tried to roll away but it was too late, he was pinned down with only 5% Health left from the attack. Logan went under Nergigante and furiously attack with his dual blades, his attack cause Nergigante to stop the finishing blow to Archer and jump back saving Archer, who run back while drinking his potion, focus on the monster this time.

As Nergigante jump back Tony was there, ready with his charge blade morph into its axe form, Tony knew he was sacrificing his mobility and his ability to block for greater damage, he attack but his attack bounce off of Nergigante's many spikes, Tony tried to quickly morph his weapon back to its sword and shield form for better defense and mobility, but he was too late, Nergigante hit him away with its wing sending Tony flying.
