Clash of Heroes

In the middle of the Spring, the sounds of cars passing through the city could be heard. The sounds of people and their sons laughing and having fun could be heard in all parks around Germany. In every park, each person would have a great view of the city and their mood would greatly improve.

The garden in the park was so green and lively that dogs and kids were amazed. The little lake that existed in the parks were pure and clean, making the people appreciate even more the environment. They were so happy playing with each other that no one noticed the sweat dropping down from their faces. The trees were big and strong and a few squirrels could be seen climbing the trees.

Everyone was in a good mood, as the weather was warm enough to make people only wear shorts and a single t-shirt. No one could be seen wearing jackets or warm clothes. The teenagers were riding bikes and talking with their friends on their way to school.

In the middle of the city, there was a jewelry store that was open not to long ago.

Even though the jewelry store was new, everyone had already heard of them and every time people pass through and saw the prices, shock appeared in their faces. In the showcase beautiful diamond necklaces, some golden rings and wedding rings could be seen. This was only a tiny portion of what the store had to offer and it was enough to fill the eyes of the people on the streets.

"How could such little things cost so much?" was their only thought. If someone robbed this store, they wouldn't have to work for the rest of their lives. However, it doesn't matter who it was, even the gangs that were famous for robbing would avoid this store. No one would dare to try rob this store, after all the police station was only one mile away from this store!

In this Jewelry Store, there was a young man that was in his twenties.

His name was Klaus and his parents expected great things from him, but he only gave them disappointment. As both his parents were doctors, he received a somewhat high education. But thanks to their jobs, he grew up almost by himself. Since both of them had a good professions, they wanted the same to Klaus. However, Klaus didn't like to study and so he didn't apply to university. This disappointed his parents a bit.

Since then, he went to live alone. He didn't have any girlfriend since he was born, wasn't popular with the girls and all the money he received from the job, it was barely enough for him to survive since he lived alone. At least, they were happy that he wasn't a gigolo.

"Finn, I am lucky that I meet you in school. If it wasn't thanks you, my life would be even more miserable." said Klaus to his friend. Finn, was the only true friend Klaus had and he was like an older brother to him. Finn was a tall skinny man. He had black glasses and looked somewhat attractive to the opposite gender.

This man, Finn, was the manager of this shop. If wasn't for him, probably Klaus would still be living with his parents and doing nothing but staying home while playing some online games and reading novels.

"Haha, obviously it was your biggest luck to meet me. After all, who wouldn't think that? Sometimes, I even think that this world is so small for such perfect man like me. I'm just too perfect for this world, even the girls have to form a line just to get a chance to meet me, haha." said Finn while finishing his cigarette. "By the way, what do you think about the new movie that will be released in the last day of June?"

"Oh fuck off narcissist. Which girl would like to meet you?" said Klaus while trying to kick Finn's ass. "I heard it will be amazing and the movie will be completely different from the others. They said the movie was created just to launch a new virtual reality game, and they used the reality of that game to create the scenery and the characters." told Klaus all he new about the movie.

"Uhm.. Interesting, and will you play the game? I will give a chance, if it's really good, maybe I can get the same chances in getting rich, just like the guys we read on the novels." said Finn while grinning and imagining how he would spend the money on cars and beautiful girls.

"Of course not, I'm broke. I am already happy if I and my dog don't starve! Why will I get debts if I don't even have a way to pay them back?" said Klaus while he sighed. Life was really hard for Klaus.

"How did my life turned into this shit?" was the thought that was in Klaus' mind all the time. After sighing and thinking for a long time, did he finally remembered. It all started when he was thirteen years old. He entered in a new school and had few people in his class that he knew. After a few days, all the new classmates started talking about the world of the novels.

A world, where the Immortals ruled the world, the Saints aiming for strongest skills, people that die and reincarnated. This was an eye-opener for Klaus. It was all he wanted, after all, which kid didn't dream of living like that? Having powers that transcended human capabilities...

He didn't want to live this kind of normal life forever. In fact, he hated his life. That was when the addiction began. He started to read novels, mangas, watch animes and play some online games. He was so addicted that he lost contact with almost all his classmates. The girls avoided him because they thought he was a nerd and an otaku, even though he could be called an handsome and funny man.

"I always felt that this world is a shit world to live. What is the point on living when you can't even aim to become the strongest in the world, or the playboy that could get all the women with just a single glance? Being able to fly and use powers that people always dream about?"

This was the world he wanted to live, a world where he could be a God or be a beggar. At least, a world where everyone could transcend themselves as long as they have talent, luck and will. However, this was not what was missing on Klaus.

Klaus was a man with talent. He had talent for all kinds of physical work. When he was in school, no one was better than him. He was the strongest, the fastest and had high reflexes. No one could overcome him in physical terms.

Klaus was a simple man, like anyone, he had black hair and black eyes.

His eyes were so black that if you watch them for a long time, you would feel like you were looking into a deep abyss. He had a good body, his muscles were in good shape. Even though it wasn't fully trained like body builders, it was still incredible for normal people. After all, his daily life was always the same.

Wake up, take a walk with his dog, shower and go to work. Always like this ever since he left school and start working in the store with his friend. He never changed his daily life.

It was an eternal loop that was always breaking his mind and heart.

Every time he felt like he wanted to give up. Sometimes he would go to a bridge that was near his home and look at the water from above. The bridge was very tall. If someone jumped from the bridge, he would immediately meet his grave. They would only survive if god personally came from heavens to save the person, otherwise it would be near impossible to survive.

"I only have regrets in my life. Twenty years... Twenty years and still a virgin. I feel like trash... Such an handsome and incredible man shouldn't be wasted, where are the eyes of the women in this world?! Have all of them become blind?!?" said Klaus on top of the bridge.

"I just want to bang some good hole!!" said Klaus while screaming. Tears were leaving his eyes as if the skies were raining. He wanted to give up, but he failed. He always failed, not because he didn't want to, but because he felt like someone was telling him to hold on, keep struggling and that his life would change.

My name is Klaus, and this is my story... The story in which I defeated my eternal loop and how I started to live as an Immortal.
