Chasing Mr Beta

The planet has evolved. Everything, including the nature has completely processed the unknown evolution. Not just the nature, humans have evolved too. The new Earth, there are three types of gender that were created in the year 3016; the Alpha, Beta, and Omega.

The Alphas are considered the dominant in the herd. They had strong pheromones that makes omegas submit from their dominance. They are born strong, aristocrats, warriors, and fighters. Basically, they are born as leaders. They have rut for at least once a month and this phenomenon are their worst and manic state. Their unbelievable strength is above those two genders which is why they held most leadership from this era.

Betas on the other hand, are normal folks. Basically, they are normal people. They are the people who are immune to pheromones and scents. Most of them are barely able to get birth or pregnant. They are neutrals. But because they are normal, they had the least attention in the society.

Last are Omegas. They are called the submissive. They had the highest percentage of getting birth. They have estrus at least once every month, releasing a sweet scent that could attract male Alphas. Some were almost driven mad that they are forced to go in a rut. That's why, they always have suppressing pills or inhibitors in case their heat will attack them in public.

As for Chen Ai, he belonged to the Beta category. And one of the most beautifully handsome Beta.

It was a fine long day for a single beta to wake up at six in the morning to get ready for his work. Chen Ai stared at the mirror, looking at his beautiful face that he himself praised as angelic. His amber eyes that glittered when it basked under the sun, accompanied by a small mole under his left eye. His raven hair is smooth and silky, just like a shiny black curtain drizzling on the window. His small face and straight nose made people wonder if he was a reincarnated deity and his cute, pink lips made his face even more angelic than it was. If only he haven't had a stone face, one could possibly tell that he is as beautiful as an Aphrodite. However, his face is like a large boulder of stone or even compared to a brick. No expression can be seen from his face making a not so good impression from other people.

But who cares anyway? He never cared for anyone's opinions.

No matter, he was too handsome to meddle with other people. In his eyes, the people he met were monkeys.

His boss is an ape, the editor was a chimpanzee, the other employers were tarsiers, the CEO is a gorilla, and the secretary is a baboon. Solving all the mysteries of Ai's wonderful brain, in his perspective he was in a zoo of monkeys. He was a beautiful being that got stuck in the planet of monkeys. The monkeys worshipped the God of monkeys, only him was odd in the circle of monkeys.

He stared at his face and compared himself with those monkeys.

Yeah... It is indeed unimaginable.

He was not an omega, but his beauty and structure was barely recognizable as a beta. The omegas were a bit shorter than him, but no doubt that his beauty was above the omegas. He doesn't know what his parents ate for having such face. He wanted to ask them. Howbeit they left early in this world, making him sigh. Others specifically thought that he was an omega, so many wanted to pursue him but they were all being turned down.

"Why would I hook up with a lemur? This face is unworthy of your possession!*points at his face* He thought inside his brain after he turned down his pursuers.

After he prepared himself, he went downstairs towards the kitchen of his apartment. The apartment was a typical one, it has one room and one guestroom. His room was located upstairs and the kitchen was downstairs. He stepped onto the stairs with an upright position maintaining his elegance and pride.

Yeah, he was dramatic in such a unique way. Right now, he was like a proud king looking down at his subjects. And his subject was his only cat, Rouye.

The white cat annoyingly meowed at him, demanding his breakfast to be served. The proud Beta stared at his cat, narrowing his eyes as the cat did the same. The two were having a contest whether who among the two of them will remain superior.

Rouye, "What are you looking at? Serve my food!"

Ai, "What if I don't?"

Rouye, "You dare disobey my orders? I'm royalty! You're just a eunuch!"

Ai, "Royalty? You're just a barbarian thief who stole my fish yesterday!"

The two were having a heated stare contest until Ai inwardly sighed and gave up. Rouye smugly lifted up his chin and gazed at him. His elegance and dazzling fur shouted victory.

He gave a cat food to his annoying, proud cat and the cat simply dig in. As for him, he only ate a toast and fresh milk. He didn't have time to cook and the he was in a hurry.

He ate his breakfast quickly and brushed his teeth. He then grabbed his briefcase and headed to the Hua company where he worked.

He was riding his Lamborghini car towards his workplace earning a scornful gaze from those jealous people. Not a while and he arrived, he opened his Lamborghini door and walked out of the car with grace and elegance. His face was expressionless but his face still screamed beautifully handsome.

He then looked at the company's entrance door and saw a group of monkeys hovering there. He was expressionless outside, yet he was in a turmoil inside.

'People, haven't seen a car before? Look at your faces ah! Your eyes were all pregnant!' He thought as he looked at the bunch of tarsiers eyeing over him. He understood that he was beautifully handsome but he never thought that it was much to this extent.

Nevertheless, he doesn't care about them and walked towards the entrance door.

He was currently working in the Hua company, a company where their sales mainly focused manhuas, books, and comics and online business platforms. Right now, he was a manager of the Team B. And to be exact, their team was the most successful team in the company and all of their designs from books to manhuas were beautifully organized. He was also known as the Workaholic Ice Beta. He was a perfectionist. One mistake and he can send a huge boulder of ice towards the employer's mistake. That's why, the members of his team have no time to slack off or else, they couldn't imagine what kind of tyrant their boss was when he gets angry.

Chen Ai was not just a Workaholic Ice Beta, he was a tyrant too when provoked. He was the person who had the majority to be feared towards other employers.

As he walks to the entrance door, the entire monkeys swarmed to their rightful places and scared to meet the WIB. Who knows what will happen to them if they irritate him.

Chen Ai was dressed in a white long sleeve that was tucked on his trousers. He layered his white long sleeve with black tuxedo, forming a proud yet not unpleasant to see. His raven hair that kissed his nape swayed in the air, accompanied by his light bangs, his face was glittering with sparkles as he walked down the hallways of the company. Alphas are drawn to him, showing off their pheromones hoping that the beautiful Beta would notice them. Omegas scornfully looked at him and dead jealous because of his beauty.

He raised his brows and thought inwardly.

'That's right you stupid tarsiers! Drink more vinegar until you're drunk!'

He stopped at his office and stared at the door intensely. Inside, the members were frantic so early in the morning. The newbie editor who was assigned from his new project was unable to hand the comics he assigned to complete. They called the newbie through phone and was yelling at him why he hadn't finished it. It turns out that he got drunk and neglected the job.

Chen Ai was not clueless. He was just right in front of the doorstep and overheard the conversation. He snickered, reached out the doorknob and opened the door.

The members were shaking their asses off and inwardly murdered the newbie editor that was assigned to do the editing task. Chen Ai was calm and expressionless, but he was very furious inside that he wanted to gutter the editor's throat.

'How dare that chimpanzee disobey my orders?! Next time I'll buy a barrel of beer for him to gulp his entire throat out! Tsk, this always happened twice already. He's testing my patience!'

He looked at the unfinished parts of the comics gloomily and clenched his fist. The publishing date was near and it should be perfect and perfectly correct. He looked at his members who were standing in front of his desk and they drooped their heads like abandoned puppies. He sighed beautifully and spoke.

"What's the name of that editor again?" The manager's chilly voice tingled, asking who was that incompetent editor that interfered his perfection. Neither of his members could voice out their thoughts. Their mouths were like fish in the water.

"Never mind, give me the manuscript."

The only girl in the team, Cheng Li handed the manuscript while his hands remained shaking. Chen Ai immediately grabbed it and looked at the other member who was fidgeting his fingers.

"Biming, contact the secretary for me. Hand me the phone if she picks up." Biming hurriedly nodded and contacted the secretary. Once the secretary has picked up the phone, Biming handed the phone to Chen Ai and he placed Biming's phone on his ear.

"Yes, this is the CEO's secretary. How can I help you?" The secretary's voice was tender and soft. The other imagined him as a tender looking girl, or a white lotus. But, for Ai she was just a slut towards the CEO.

He didn't bother about it since it was too troublesome. That secretary hated him because of his beauty and perfection. Well, it's not his fault for being perfect. That omega sure knows how to piss him off. That baboon doesn't know that Ai knows she was hooking up with the CEO. That's why if he mess with him, he'll going to take that baboon to hell.

"This is Manager Chen Ai. I wish to speak with the CEO."

The baboon widened his eyes and darkened. She clenched her fist and talked to him. "I'm sorry, but the CEO was not available for now."

Chen Ai snickered, he emitted a dangerous aura around the room making all his members flinched.

"Secretary, this is an important matter and needs to fixed quickly. Stop being so incompetent and do your job as a secretary. Or I’m going to report you to the CEO. You get me?" He said as he lowered down his gaze and edited the manuscript. His pen flickered and brushed through the manuscript, his eyes was scanning to the paper looking for errors.

The secretary face darkened even more. No matter what she did, she just couldn't win over that beta. She wanted to crush him, but only a fool would do that shitty thing to him.

"F-fine. Connecting to the CEO's line."

The phone was connected to the CEO so the CEO who was flipping documents picked up the service.

"Yes, what do you want?" His husky voice echoed through the phone. One could tell that he was a formidable alpha but Chen Ai didn't care about that.

"I wish for the dismissal of the incompetent editor on our team Sir." The beta's beautiful voice sounded through the phone that made the alpha stunned at the person at the person who just called.

"Okay. Discuss it to my office at noon. I have to know the reason."

"No worries sir, I'll discuss it through the phone. No need to bother yourself."

The CEO who was immersed on his voice, frowned even deeper. No one had ever disobeyed him before, but this person nearly knocked him out.

The Gorilla was being rejected by the God.
