Chapter 1"The Flint."

Date: December 21st, 1813

Location: Paris France

I look in the dark alley of paris.. corpses laying in pools of blood, limbs or ligements seperated with only flies to fill the sounds of the streets... civilians running to the safety of the barricades we had set had set up with the men. They beared armed with each of their own weapons like.. we heard those cannibals with bloodthirst infected with "Blight".. We called them that for a reason. Every time they got killed so easily, 10 more could pop up. We stood ready as I shouted to my boys.

"MILITA MEN OF PARIS, UP ON THE BARRICADES FORM 4 RANKS!"

Upon the order, some 98 men ran up, grabbing their muskets as I heard the flints cocking back like an orchestra with each of the musket they weilded being ready to fire. I unholstered my flintlock pistol cocking it back as I took aim before seeing those Cannibals come... I waited.. I waited.. and I waited hearing the screams, shouts, and yelps as if rabid dogs had been released with the cannibles walking closer.. and closer, I shouted after hearing the rumbling of steps entering closer..

"FIRST RANK, MAKE READY!"

The guns got ready as they rised up to the ready position for another order I yelled to speak over those cannibals screaming saying

"PRESENT!"

The men rose their weaponry as I heard the guns rising up in such sync order before I shouted the words...

"FIRE!"

The men fired as I saw in pure awe seeing the cannibals falling down.. almost exploding due to such impact of the musketball.. were they genuinely this truly weak..? I went back to reality as I ordered the 1st Rank and 2nd rank

"1st RANK KNEEL. 2nd RANK, MAKE READY, PRESENT..... FIRE!!"

Another volley was fired.. multiple corpses fell once again though.. they got closer so I finally gave the order..

"FIX BAYONETS AND FIRE AT WILL MEN, WE CANNOT LET THEM PASS!"

I heard my men.. they ran and they got to their seperate positions firing though.. I saw a poor lad.. he couldnt take it anymore as he broke down.. he cried and wailed, I could remember each wail when he cried with him being in a state of being petrified. One of the women from the civilian crowd ran up to him.. as amother man, seemed to be in his 30s ran up and grabbed that young man's musket and his equipment and ran up to the line... I got some sort of influence.. an urge screaming to the civilians behind us, saying

"THOSE ABLE FIT MEN WHO WISH TO FIGHT AND PROTECT OUR WOMEN AND CHILDREN GRAB YOUR MUSKETS AND POWDER FROM THE ARSENAL 2 BLOCKS DOWN AND FIGHT GENTLEMEN! THOSE WHO CANNOT I UNDERSTAND IF YOU HAVE FAMILY BUT FIGHT GENTLEMEN! FIGHT TO PROTECT OUR FAMILIES AND PARIS!"

Most men shouted, agreeing as I saw a good porition of the crowd run down the block to the arsenal..

I kept fighting, waiting for the men to come as I saw more come... those 98 men kept fighting.. some feel down from the barricade but most fought.. they fought with bayonet and butt using their muskets as defense. We kept fighting before I heard the bells of the cathederal ring.. with musicians playing from the cathederal.. I felt hope. True hope for once. I heard the music hearing the composing of The Four Seasons.. I shedded tears as I screamed to my men

"KEEP FIGHTING MEN, AS PARIS PLAYS SONGS FOR US, THEY RELY FOR US AND IMPLEMENT THEIR TRUST. KEEP FIGHTING!"

The men shouted, screaming the chant

"VIVE LA FRANCE!"

I heard the shout everywhere as I turned around, seeing the group of men running forward mounting up on the barricades. They fired their shots with me witnessing such ferocious fighting that a man can provide to protect their home. The place they lived. But most importantly, to stop this hell..

Finally.. the fighting stopped with corpses lying on the ground... bleeding. Ligaments torn apart, brain matter splattered, guts popped open, skulls shattered, pieces of bone almost like shrapnel when shot laying on corpses. I had the urge to vomit.. to break down... Could I truly handle this...? I had killed civilians.. civilians that sure.. wanted to cannablise me.. but those poor souls.. I felt like a monster. A monster like me who should've been executed.

A Time Traveller's Guide to Feudal Japan

Do people chase greatness, or does greatness chase us? A.I. genius, Gengyo, through the assistance of SAPPHIRE attains the means to time travel. He seeks a simpler life, and wishes to experience the warmth of a family. But often we do not get what we want, we get what we deserve. And his peaceful times soon end, as war storms Japan, and in order to protect his peace, he must conquer. Join Gengyo as he walks a blood-stained path toward absolute domination, seizing control of Japan. //Brief extract from one of the battle scenes. Written from the point of view of a samurai landowner, Niwa Nakatane. The hooves grew closer to Nakatane's position and their beating hearts grew faster. Perhaps they could simply remain like that, hiding behind the tree, and allow these barbarians to pass? That way could they not return home to their families? Could they not give their dear wives one final kiss, or share one final story with their enthusiastic youth? Nakatane knew exactly what they were thinking. And as the ground rumbled, and the mounted beasts howled, he was the first man to step out from the trees and make his stand. "OORAH!" Possessed by a furious energy, he thrust out with all the aggression of a war god, puncturing Ochi's stallion through the chest with the sharpened wooden point of his lengthy spear. The mammoth fell from his mount clumsily, his head colliding with a nearby tree root. He ceased to move, and a pool of blood began to form around him. "ARM THESE SPEARS MEN! VICTORY SHALL BE OURS!" He stood in front of the charge of over 150 horsemen, alone. But he did not give a single inch of ground. He met the charge of the next man in line, roaring vengefully, possessed by all the rage and power that had accumulated in his body over these past years. The horsemen shrieked like a pack of hyenas, fanning out, each eager for a piece of the man who had brought down their leader. //I did not create the book cover.
