The Village in the Veil
Virgil was born from an affair between a lord and a servant. Hated and treated with cruel coldness as a child, Virgil had one light, Nyx. Nyx was abandoned on her parent's doorsteps starving, and only a few days old. Born with the ability to control life and death, all those around her feared her until she met Virgil. A promise was made between them, one of love in the innocence of youth. Nyx is now grown, and the promise of love once made to her seems forgotten. Now though the dead are growing in numbers, The cult of the Veil grows more aggressive, and Nyx must finally discover the forgotten village that holds a dark and bloody secret. Virgil and his unit of warriors have been tasked with Nyx and her unit's protection. As Nyx and Virgil grow close once again, Nyx's secret past comes to haunt her, and she will be given her choice save the world that fears her or feed them all to the hungry maw of Veil.
