Bittersweet memories

Humanoid hybrids were integrating into society, slowly but surely. Being a new form of human, much like in history there were many people opposed to letting the humanoids have freedom. Thus begun the AniMan slavery that would last for years to come. This particular story begins with a wolf hybrid a rich woman has bought in order to serve as protection for her daughter, much like a guard dog.

The 9 year old boy kept his head down looking at his bare feat and tattered grey pants and faded yellow shirt, his brown hair covered his face as his new master lead him by a collar for dogs to her home. "Here is our home. Your job, protect my daughter from intruders to the home. In exchange I'll feed you little bit of food, maybe scraps. If you fail, I'll sell you for more money than I got you for, you understand, mutt?!" she asked him and the young wolf boy flinched at her loud tone, his red and blue eyes flashing with a fear of what is to come of his new life, but he nodded "yes...Mistress Miyazaki " he said in a flat tone. "Good. Don't leave the house either. You are free to roam the house. Do not break things or you will sleep outside. now off you go" his Mistress said and unhooked his leash and let the young boy enter the house.

Upon roaming the house and finding out his mistress owned very shiny and expensive valuables ranging from decorated vases and old collectibles from World War 4 such as guns and swords from the other wars. It was easy to get lost in the three story home of his mistress and young mistress whom he had yet to meet. His bright red and blue eyes shone as he stared at the wall decor of the second floor, not watching his step he bumped into someone much smaller than himself and he was startled and looked down only to meet an albino girl with white hair,pinkish purple eyes and very pale skin that had an obvious fake tan when she looked no more than 6 years of age. "I'm sorry,here"he said hurriedly helping her up before Mistress Miyazaki saw anything. "It ok. are you new wolfie? mama said she'd get new one. what's your name? I'm Yuki!" The young girl,known as Yuki, said happily and looked a bit up at the wolf boy as he stared back in shock at her kindness. "My name is Kai...nice to meet you, young Mistress Yuki."he quietly replied as he ears went up as he was in such awe the young child was so kind unlike her mother.

Days went by and Kai grew accustomed to his life as a guard dog. He would help clean the house too in order to earn a bit more food each day. days turned into a month and he kept doing as told, though today as Kai was cleaning the hard wood flooring of the first floor hall way he heard his mistress groan and leave the house. 'I wonder where Mistress is going today, and in a bad mood too' he thought to himself as he simply continued cleaning in order to be done before she came back.

Upon his Mistress' return, he noticed a young girl barely a year older than young Mistress Yuki standing beside Mistress. The young girl, he noticed had long hair that was very unique. Where as his mistress had black short hair and red highlights, this girl had a green that faded down into blue. He thought she looked pretty especially when he saw her eyes were exactly like her hair. However , the young girl looked very upset, troubled even and Kai didn't understand why. "Kai, this is my Niece, Amano. show her around, she will be living with us from now on "
