Vincent's Emotions

When Elara arrived home, she found Marina and Luke engaged in conversation with Mrs. Holloway and Vincent. As soon as she walked in, Marina greeted her with a tentative smile. "Emilia," she began, but Elara interrupted gently, "I'm more used to being called Elara."

Marina swallowed her sadness and nodded. "Of course, Elara. Please, have a seat. We've been waiting for you." Elara complied, her curiosity piqued by the serious atmosphere in the room.

Luke cleared his throat, his expression concerned. "Elara, we understand that you're still getting to know us, and we respect that. But we're worried." Elara furrowed her brows in confusion. "About what?"

Marina hesitated before speaking up. "We've been discussing your marriage to Vincent, and both Luke and I feel that you're still too young to be making such a big decision. And Vincent, well, he's... he's a bit older, and we know he's not without his flaws."
