Southwest Tod forest front - Border between Warsaw and Attenta

Two minutes before the incident occurred

"Our Commander was like shit when she did that", that was my thought after seeing her headed to the enemy line. Currently, I was sitting on the ground alongside my comrades. Pulling out our rations to eat 'cause I felt hungry... these cookies were very good, I love eating them.

While eating the cookies, I could see a bunch of WCA soldiers lying, crouching and standing on the riverside to watch the duel. Those guys, probably were too free and didn't have any shit else to do. Ms. Frieden was on her period or something, so she was crazy to think about it. Just all of sudden ran straight to encounter the enemy, later asked 'em for a duel.

Despite receiving the scout mission, she did it wrong and even showed up, exposing herself. Instead of secretly eliminating the enemy from afar, she faced 'em, asking them for a duel in order to end the battle without bloodshed... it was so stupid. While grabbing out the pieces of cookies inside the mini ration bag to eat, I found something. I meant... the WCA soldiers who were watching the duel suddenly yelled like crazies over there. Knowing they were acting suspiciously, I pointed my head to Tev - the one who was also watching that bullshit duel.

"Any news over there...?".

"Yah! Our fishing boat sunk their warship!".  "Giggles...". - This dude... maybe he was meaning our Captain had won the duel

Well... thanks to her stupid decision, our soldiers now had more time to rest, and even had the chance to erase our boredom. Many of our guys and girls were concentrating on the riverside just to observe those duel scenes... despite it being over. However, I didn't care much about the duel. Honestly, my current goal was to return to my family who was waiting for me in the Capital city.

"Chews... chews... chews...".  "Swallows... swallows...". - Finished eating the cookies, I swallowed them slowly, trying to feel their shitty taste

Needless to say, our military guys had gotten used to eating rations like this one, getting bored with them was obvious.  However, these cookies would be very tasty if I handed them over to my son Uvan and my daughter Seva... my wife Epente too. Man, I wish... I was with my family, not this warzone, fighting every day.

"Chews... chews...".  "Swallows... swallows...". - Eating for a while, I swallowed the cookies while looking up at the sky

Wait a minute... did my eyes just fool me or something? Otherwise, I'd have had a huge hallucination right here. In the sky, a bunch of huge creatures that looked like eagles could be seen flying together. They were forming a horizontal V line while flying, their spiky feet were carrying things like logs and big stones. I could describe those huge eagles flying to the east side, as if purposing to do something. Could not believe in myself, I tied the ration bag and strapped it to my belt, later grabbed my weapons and watched those eagles.

I ran, following those flying creatures. Pointing my eyes to the sky non-stop, later saw they flew away to the North. Before they got away from my sight, I was very sure that their feet hadn't carried anything by this time. These eagles... dropped those things somewhere... beyond that eastern side, eh?

Surrounded by my curiosity but could not do anything to solve it, I started neglecting what I had seen. Later I returned to my regiment and sat on the ground once again, pulling out the ration bag to eat some more cookies.

"Holy shit!".  "Guys, gear up! Gear up!".  "Form your formation now, oh shit!".  "C'mon! Go go go, people!". - Had just sat on the ground in a short moment, I heard yellings from the WCA soldiers, as if they were panicked

"Man! Taps!".  "C'mon, set your formation, come on!". - All of sudden, Tev hit my head, asking me to form the spear line formation

"Woahhhh!".  "Watch out!". - More yellings sounded in the riverside

"Shit!". - All of sudden, a bunch of our WCA horsemen jumped through the riverside and ran through here

I managed to roll while holding Tev, we managed to not be smashed by those incoming horses. After rolling for a while, Tev stood up and ran with his crossbow removed from his right side belt, as if was about to fight. About me, was still very bewildered at what was happening. Looking around for a while, glancing everywhere... later I realized that my cookies and the ration bag had fallen off, completely broken...

What a wasteful... please tell me what the hell was happening!

"Up, Pvt. Mark!". - All of sudden, a bloody hand grabbed mine and pulled me up, turned out that was Cpt. Frieden

For some reason, her armor was covered in blood. Her face showed me her gasp and also her shakes while holding my hand. Later my Commander looked away, staring at the WCA soldiers at the riverside for no reason.

"Move!". - She yelled at me, later ran away and mounted her horse

I was still bewildered at what was happening. However, seeing hers and others' behaviors, I knew that my regiment was about to have a fight or some sort like that. Shortly I ran toward the spearmen horizontal formation and joined 'em. Readied my crossbow as they were doing, I looked at the scenery ahead and realized something was coming to the riverside... horsemen?!

According to my vision, the things which were coming to my spearmen line were the cavalrymen. They must be from the Attenta hostiles. However, these horsemen seemed to be wounded a bit while on their horseback, as if they were running away from something and accidentally got here and faced our unit.

Dozens of the enemy horsemen were coming here. They seemed to be hadn't known about our existence yet, that would be a good chance for us to kill them. Holding the crossbow alongside other WCA comrades, I was waiting for the order. Their distance was in the range which our crossbow could shoot at...

"Targets, uhhh... umm...".  "250 meters, ready to fire!". - Hearing our Commander's order, we fastly targeted the Attenta horsemen by using our crossbows

"Stand by...".  "Stand by...". - Looking through its wooden sight, I held my breath steadily while aiming the crossbow

"Stand by... stand by...". - The horses' running steps could be heard sounding louder and louder as they were coming

"Shoot 'em!".

"Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt!".  "Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt!".  "Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt!". - Hearing the order, we shot the crossbows, making the shots fly toward the Attenta horsemen

Taking the damage, the horsemen who were riding on the plain suddenly fell dead unpredictably. Some of 'em fell from their horseback, could have died instantly. However, some horsemen who seemed to be heavily armored, were still sitting on their horseback.

Afterward, the enemy horsemen abruptly stopped moving their horses and started looking around. Some of their soldiers were holding their armors, as if were checking for their wounds. However, they were looking around as if they were bewildered because of getting shot by us previously. Using their confusion, we reloaded our crossbows and shortly aimed at them again.

"Open fire!".

"Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt!".  "Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt!". - Another wave of rain arrows, we shot our crossbows and the shots hit the horsemen

More Attenta horsemen fell after getting shot. However, still many of them were sitting on their horseback, those were the alive ones who took two previous shots. Maybe because of their armor's thickness, they managed to cheat death twice in front of us. This time they finally located where the shots came from so those horsemen were rushing to us from afar, many of them!

"Don't rush! Don't rush!".  "Reload carefully, now!". - Cpt. Frieden yelled at us, telling us to stay calm to reload our crossbows

The enemy horsemen were faster than ever despite being wounded by the shots twice. Knowing we'd face dangerous things in the future, I immediately joined my WCA comrades to reload my crossbow, just like them. Lowering the crossbow, using my leg to press tight on its stirrup. Now I slowly pulled the string back to place it on the bolt clip... after doing those things, I just need to put the bolt on the bolt clip of the crossbow to finish the reload.

"Quit the reloading!".  "Phalanx formation immediately! Enemy incoming, 100 meters!". - Hearing our Captain's yell, I accidentally dropped the bolt before I could reload my crossbow

When I looked up, I was startled when the enemy horsemen were about to get us. The WCA soldiers and I fastly put our crossbows back to our belts while leaning our hands to our backs. Attempting to pull out our long spears to against the enemy horsemen. We shortly brought out our long spears successfully. Although our horizontal formation was very cramped while having these spears, we managed to stay calm and slowly formed our Phalanx formation.

Other comrades and I were the lead soldiers so we pointed out long spears forward the plain ahead. Meanwhile, the soldiers behind us were either pointing their spears up at the sky or pointing the spears a bit lower than the previous unit. By using this anti-cavalry formation, we'd be able to eliminate the Attenta horsemen easily.

"Incoming!".  "Stand your ground, soldiers!".

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!".  "Ahhh! Ahhhh!".  "Ahhhhhh!". - In a blink of an eye, the enemy horsemen who hadn't had enough time to react to our forward defensive line, had paid it dearly

Their armored horses charged into us and got stabbed by the spears which pointed straight forward. Meanwhile, the enemy horsemen flew away from their saddles because of the big impact. Their bodies flew powerfully they could not control it, those cavalrymen ended up staying forever on our long spears' pointy tips. Flying for a while, they were stabbed by the spears which pointed to the sky. Some of them could be heard still surviving, sounding unintelligible sounds, dying slowly and painfully.

Their blood drained out down to our spear lines, many drops fell out and mixed with the stream of the river. Many Attenta cavalrymen died by bumping into our spears. Currently, their cavalry attack seemed to be under control, we had stopped it. Shortly we lowered our spears, attempting to change our fighting formation in case dealing with unpredictable things could appear after this.

"Arrrrghhh!".  "Urrrrrggghh!". - All of sudden, our formation was broken, things happened so fast, I didn't know what caused it

"Urrrrrgggghh!". - Our WCA spearmen fell and bumped into each other, we fell and been stashed up on each other

"Urrrrrgggghh!". - I rolled to the left side when I sensed something long was about to hit me and my comrades

After rolling, I overturned and realized a bunch of enemy cavalrymen had broken through our spearmen formation. They must be the survivors of the previous attack, the ones who managed to stop their horses from running to our spears.

"Ahhhhhh! Ahhhhh! Ahhh!".  "Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!".  "Gunshots! Gunshots!".  "Stand your ground!". - Chaos started spreading, the Attenta horsemen were running around to kill our soldiers, while our WCA gunners were trying to stop them

Much white smoke popped out from the muskets' barrels as the shots were fired. Some cavalrymen fell but some managed to miss the shot. They kept their distance from our gunners while running their horses around, trying to slash our WCA spearmen. Some of 'em could be seen struggling to fight against our WCA horsemen. One came to me, I dodged his slash, later got up, attempting to assist my comrades to fight against 'em.

"Do not be afraid!".  "Bang!".  "Soldiers, fix bayonets!". - Cpt. Frieden shot an incoming Attenta cavalryman by using her flintlock pistol, shortly she asked the gunners to attach bayonets

"Man, we need medic!".  "Mark! Mark! Get over here!". - Suddenly, Tev yelled at me, asking me to bring the wounded soldiers out of the riverside to let medic soldiers do the treatment

"Chop their legs! Not those above you!".  "The horses!". - Cpt. Frieden told the gunners to chop off the horses' legs to disable the enemy horsemen

Our Captain was now reloading her flintlock pistol while stepping back, taking protection from the WCA gunners and the horsemen. The gunner units, from the females to the males, were pulling out the blades from their holsters, attaching them to their muskets. Our WCA horsemen were fighting against the enemy horsemen, they dropped their spears and drew out their swords or short spears to kill each other.

Because the area behind the spearmen lines was quite narrow, using spears in this zone was not too effective. Standing to see the battle scene, I was confused, didn't know which side should I help first. All of sudden, an Attenta horseman fell from his horseback, he was lying on the ground, wounded.

"Gunshots! Gunshots! Gunshots!".  "Bang! Bang!". - Some WCA gunners managed to reload their muskets in time, but their guns shortly went empty since they used them to shoot the horsemen

"Do not rush, do not rush!".  "Save your time, it takes time to reload!".  "Urrrghhh!". - Cpt. Frieden ordered the gunners not to waste their ammo, she shortly pulled out her magic sword and cut an incoming horse's legs

While confused to watch those fighting scenes, the fallen enemy horseman was trying to get up. I was scared to know he was looking at me while getting up... all of sudden, I found myself grabbing his neck after deepening my nervousness about going home.

"Urrrrrgggghh!". - I panicked pulling out my short spear

"Smash!!!".  "Smash!!!".  "Smash! Smash! Smash!". - Later I used the spear's butt to hit the guy's metal helmet many times, however... he didn't have any damage

"Urrrrrgggghh! Urrrrrgggghh!".  "Smash! Smash! Smash!".  "Smash!!!".  "Smash!!!".  "Cracks!!!!!!". - While smashing the guy's helmet, the spear's butt got broken since I had used it to smash the guy too much

"Smash! Smash! Smash!".  "Ahhhh! Die! Die! Die! Die!". - I yelled like a crazy while smashing the guy by using the spear's pointy tip, he seemed to be wounded right now

"Urrrrrgggghh!".  "Slams!!!". - Being scared of him, I reached around and managed to find his face protector plate, shortly I pulled it out and stabbed the guy to death

"Haahhhhh... haahhhhh...". - Gasping and sweating after killing my second enemy, I ran away, to my spearmen unit, left my spear there

"Gunshots! Gunshots!".  "We're clear, Sir!". - I heard yellings from behind while running to my team, I looked back while sprinting

Turned out those were the WCA gunners. They managed to get rid of the enemy horsemen, who were now on their horseback, running away after taking too much of casualties. While the WCA gunners regrouped and reloaded their muskets, our comrade horsemen were chasing the enemy horsemen. Seeing the table had been overturned, I was very relieved to know. Later, I returned to my spearmen line, intending to help 'em.

"The fuck are they?!". - Returning to my team, I noticed that hundreds of people wore like soldiers walking toward us from the plain side

According to my calculation, must be thousands of them over there. Seeing the situation was beyond my imagination, I looked around and noticed the WCA spearmen were standing still. They readied their crossbows like usual, as if were willing to fight. Seeing my comrades' spirits, I also pulled out my crossbow, reloaded it with my nervousness and readied.

"Sir! Many hostiles over there!".  "Did we just get into their trap?! What should we do now?!". - Some soldiers asked our Captain loudly, I was very bewildered to see this much enemy

According to the intel I knew before this going to do this scouting mission. The Beastmen Army would take care of the enemy fighting regiment in the southeast. While we'd take care of this supply battalion in the southwest. However, just in all of sudden, thousands of hostiles were in front of us.

"They're running away from our ally, they're chasing 'em down!".  "Form your formation, we'll eliminate them all, do it immediately!". - Alright... I could understand the situation thanks to hearing her intel

We shortly returned to form our horizontal formation while pointing out crossbows to the Attenta soldiers. As I could see, they were away from us about 300 to 250 meters, not too far to shoot. However, their spearmen seemed to have formed their shields. We couldn't attack them effectively if we kept this strategy for any longer.

"Right side, the farmer soldiers!". - Cpt. Frieden later ordered us to aim at the left side

When we turned to that position, I could see many poor soldiers who looked like farmers. They must've been drafted here to join the military, they were very easy to be eliminated, I think so. All of sudden, I noticed some units were behind those farmers. Looking closely, later I realized those were the Attenta archers, they were using the farmers to cover up their fighting formation!

"Shit!".  "Tortoise formation, immediately!".  "Form our shields, they're going to shoot us!".  "Put the boards down!". - Somehow Cpt. Frieden managed to spot the enemy's strategy, we were ordered to form our shield formation

The WCA spearmen and I immediately pulled out our metal shields. We stood closer to each other while crouching and forming our shields in front of us since we were the leading soldiers. Behind us, the other spearmen were standing, forming our shields, others formed above, all 4 sides were just only shields.

"Bup! Bup! Bup! Bup! Bup!".  "Ahhh! Ahhh! Ahhhh!".  "Ahhh! Ahhhh! Ahhhhh!". - Hadn't finished forming our shields, a rain arrow had come to us, those who hadn't formed their shields properly were now wounded

"Holy shit! Run run run!".  "Fuck fuck fuck fuck!". - When I was bewildered, waiting for the rain arrow to end its wave, many of our WCA spearmen suddenly left their position and ran away

"Arrrrghhh!". - My head was hit by an arrow since no one formed their shields to cover me from above

That was hurt but I managed to have my metal military helmet. It helped me by diverting the arrow's destination or something. But I was very sure that attack was very hurtful, still this time. This time I was sitting on the ground after falling. My hands were touching the ground and the rain arrow seemed to have been over.

"Get back here! Get back!".  "Bang!".  "Do not run away!".  "Gunners, take point!".

However, I heard a lot of yellings from behind me or something. Our Commander must've been very mad when our spearmen units left the frontline but ran away during the previous rain arrow. When I was thinking about getting up, suddenly I heard a lot of running sounds which were heard like horses running. Later I was terrified when I was spotting hundreds of enemy cavalrymen running toward here. They were about to jump through the riverside.

"Get here, c'mon!". - Suddenly, some WCA women gunners pulled me away from the frontline

The gunner units had now taken the spearmen's place in the frontline. They calmly formed three lines formation, ones in the frontline crouched while pointing out their loaded muskets to the enemy. While the two other line gunners were waiting for the end turn of the first line gunners. They kept calm while aiming at the enemy cavalrymen, their horses were running like the wind.

"Gunshots! Gunshots! Gunshots! Gunshots!".  "Second line, move up!". - Firing the muskets when the Attenta horsemen were away from them less than 50 meters

"Stand by for the order!". - The 2nd line soldiers shortly took the place, they crouched down, pointing their muskets out while waiting for the firing order

"Ahhhh! Ahhhhh! Ahhhh!".  "Urrrrrgggghh! Urrrghhh!".  "Retreat 20 meters, out of the range immediately!". - Those gunners were shortly got shot by the Attenta archers, Cpt. Frieden delayed the shooting but saved the wounded first

The WCA wounded gunners immediately stepped back 20 meters from the earlier fighting area. I also moved with them but managed to grab a long spear of a dead comrade on the ground before leaving completely. After falling back 20 meters, I reunited with the spearmen units, who were now preparing for their long spears. About the gunners, they had stepped back completely, now were ready to shoot the incoming enemy horsemen with their muskets.

"Danger close, soldiers!".  "They come in, we come in!". - Cpt. Frieden ordered the gunners and other units to fight in close-quarter combat in case the enemy was too near to us

"Stand by, do not fire yet!". - Having done her announcement, she ordered the gunners to wait for their turn to shoot their muskets

"Shoot!".

"Gunshots! Gunshots! Gunshots! Gunshots!".  "Third line, move up immediately!". - Swiftly after shooting the enemy horsemen, the 2nd line gunners moved behind to let the 3rd line do their duty

"Stand by, do not fire yet!".

"Stand by... stand by...!".

"Fire!".

"Gunshots! Gunshots! Gunshots! Gunshots!".  "First line, mo-".

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!". - Unfortunately, some Attenta cavalrymen who survived the previous shooting, had now broken the frontline

"Spearmen, move up!".

"Yarrrrghhhhhhhhhh!". - Immediately, we roared while moving forward, pointing out our spears, hoping to stop the enemy horsemen

"Whinnies! Whinnies!".  "Urrrrrgggghh! Yarrrrghh!".  "Whinnies! Whinnies!". - Their horses neighed as our spears surrounded them, though we couldn't kill the enemies, at least their horses were panicked

"Whinnies! Whinnies! Whinnies! Whinnies!".  "Yarrrrghhhhhhhhhh!". - Those horsemen dropped their spears and drew out their swords, trying to block and pull away our spear lines

"Arrrrrggghhhhhhhhh!". - Tev came out from nowhere and roared, he managed to hit his spear to a cavalryman, resulting in his falling from horseback

"Kak! Kak! Kak! Kak! Kak!". - We were still doing our best, trying to stab the enemies but could not, only succeeded in stopping their horses' moves

"Kak! Kak! Kak!". - Those pulling and blocking sounds kept continuing since our enemies were very brave, they were trying their best to not get wounded

"Ahhhh! Ahhhh! Ahhhhh!". - All of sudden, some of our spearmen were shot by the arrows, they either fell or kept standing to stop the horses from moving further

"Gunshots! Gunshots! Gunshots! Gunshots!".  "Whinnies! Whinnies!". - All of sudden, many gunshots sounded out, and the enemy horses started falling significantly

"Ahhhhh! Ahhhh! Ahhhh!". - The enemy cavalrymen who fell from their horseback, were now being kicked and punched, even stabbed by our soldiers

"Arrrrrggghhhhhhhhh!". - When I was rushing to a fallen enemy, I was crushed by my own comrades, this battle was slaughtering both sides, I think so

"Ahhhh! Yarrrrghhhhhhhhhh! Yarrrrghh!".  "Fuck 'em all!".  "Motherfucker! Haaahhhh!".  "Haahhhhh! Hahhhhhh!". - Chaos was everywhere, I could see our men kicking the enemies, so did we since we were killing our men and the enemies at the same time

"Gunshots! Gunshots! Gunshots! Gunshots!".  "Friendly fire! Friendly fire!".  "Stop! Stop! Stop! Stop!".  "Bang!". - Cpt. Frieden yelled to ask our men to stop misunderstanding since we were hitting our men and the enemies, but everything seemed to be pointless

"Urrrghhh!". - While trying to get up, I saw an alive enemy cavalryman approaching me weakly, his hand was holding a rock

"Where?! Where?!".  "Haahhhhh! Haahhhhh!". - I gasped non-stop while reaching the soil, trying to find something to fight back

"Urrrrrgggghh!".  "Man, let's get the hell of here, yah!".  "We gotta go, it's crazy here!". - Tev all of sudden appeared, he knocked off that guy, later helped me up

"Horsemen, take care of the enemy over there, now!".  "We'll take care of things here, do not let 'em get close to us!". - Both of us walked together till we encountered Cpt. Frieden, who was now ordering our WCA horsemen to stop the enemies who were on the plain side

"Yes, Sir!".  "Follow me, men!". - Taking the order, those horsemen mounted on their horses and got out of the current area, attempting to head to the plain side to stop the incoming enemy lines

"You two, stay here!". - All of sudden, she mounted her horse for no reason

"What are you doing, Sir?!". - Tev asked Cpt. Frieden

"I'm gonna die here sooner or later if I don't get out to here".  "Wait for my return, I need backup, I'll return t-".

"What the fuck are you thinking you're doing, huh?!".  "Our men are dying, killing each other in chaos and you just leave us here just t-".

"I'm not leaving anyone!".  "I promise I will return, but now I need backup!".  "No messenger can be found this time, I need to head to the Beastmen!".  "In case they're willing to help us, Veta will b-".

"Shut the fuck off!".  "You leave us here! You fucking leave u-". - Tev swore at our Commander when she was on her horse

"Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!".  "Don't leave us! Don't leave us!".  "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!". - Tev scolded our Captain when she fled with her horse, we were left behind, he was mad so he roared painfully

I later left Tev and thought about the plan to escape from this warzone to return to my family. Walking in this chaotic area, I tried to keep my distance from the soldiers, even if they were on my side or the enemy. Later I ran but fastly exhausted, could not move fast as I wanted to.

"Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!". - A group of WCA gunners shot the incoming enemy spearmen, they later pointed their guns at me but shortly withdrew since they knew I was theirs

"Urrrrrgggghh!". - While walking, someone suddenly bumped into me and both of us fell to the ground

Later I pulled the person out. Turned out he had died after falling on me, that was a WCA spearman. While pulling him away from me, spotted he had a short spear on his belt so I snatched it for myself. Later I got up and moved once again. This time... no longer I could distinguish which ones were the enemies, which ones were our comrades anymore, I think.

The faces of both sides were now covered in blood, so did their armors and weapons. Their faces were all battered, their armors were scratched, broken weapons in their hands. Especially... everyone's face was now very wild and dull, because we were trying to adapt to this killing environment, very intense. Suddenly while walking around to find a way out, I spotted someone approaching me. Couldn't identify if this guy was an enemy or not. However, he ran straight at me with his spear whose pointy tip was broken.

"Yarrrrghhhhhhhhhh!".  "Smash!". - Waiting till he got close to me, I hit the guy's head by using the short spear, he fell on the ground and bled instantly

Later I kept moving while staying away from the crowded area. The chaotic scenes in this narrow zone kept continuing. However, maybe some of our comrades had realized the chaotic situation happening here by now, they were panicked. But the killings kept continuing between us and the Attenta hostiles. Thinking I need to move, I made my steps, just did my best to make sure I was safe on my go.

All of sudden, I spotted something flying in the sky so I looked up. Those were the giant eagles I used to see previously before the battle, they were now flying in the V line as usual, but a bit odd. These giant eagles seemed to be observing the chaotic situation below them or something. They kept flying around, over and over again this area without flying to somewhere else... as if they were up to something... right?

"Oh fuck fuck fuck fuck!". - Spotting they were dropping giant stones and logs down to the area I was standing, I was so scared so I ran away

"Shit!".  "No no no no no...". - All of sudden, in front of me was a big crowd of soldiers, I tried to get rid of them but failed, now I was nervous

"Urrrghhh! Urrrrrgggghh!". - Please, I want to move out of this dangerous situation!

"No no no no no no!".  "Please please please please please please please please please!".  "No, don't kill me, no please!". - All of sudden, one of them got up and raised his long axe highly, as if he was attempting to chop off my head... or... something worsens... no!

"No!".  "Nooooooooooooooo!".  "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!". - In the last moments, I cried while yelling since I know I was about to die!

"Epente!!!!!!". - I don't want to die here! I want to return to my kids and my wife! My family was waiting for me! My parents were even waiting for me! I must not die!

After leaving my troops behind, I started riding my horse - Hermann to the southeast, purposing to find the Beastmen Army. However, Advisor had warned me that they had retreated since the enemy outnumbered them. But I kept following my instincts. Resulting of my current situation, I was now riding, on the run to escape the Attenta horsemen.

"Reimi, don't head back to Veta".  "Head to the forest over there, no dots inside".  "Get in there, I'll instruct you to escape l-".

"Stop saying!".  "If you were following my orders from the beginning, we could've had a big victor to show John this time!".  "Now help me to es-".

"I'm helping you!".  "Listen to me, head to the forest, now!".

"Tch!".  "Pip!". - Seeing Advisor was too annoying, I turned off her and decided to escape on my own, I can do this myself!

Maybe I should rethink a bit. Being on my own was a little bit risky, I must call John to ask for his help. I think I should do that, as soon as possible would be the way. While riding my horse, I peeked behind to see the enemy horsemen who were chasing me. They didn't look like the Attenta military cavalrymen at all, but like some sort of mercenaries.

They were armed with leather armors, alongside the ropes in their hands which seemed to be used to capture the horse rider. Their ropes had loopholes to hang the one's head... currently, these enemies were riding their horses, were targeting me.

I couldn't fight them either, which made me be chased by the large number of them. I accidentally dropped my pack of arrows during the previous chaos in the riverside, now my bow was entirely useless. I threw it away now, I only had my flintlock pistol to be the only long-range weapon for me to use in order to against them.

"Urrrrrgggghh!".  "Ummmm!". - All of sudden, when I was about to turn on Advisor once again, my neck seemed to be choked by something

"Ummmm!".  "Ummmm!". - Turned out an enemy managed to throw his rope at me, the loophole was now surrounding my neck, I felt a bit suffocated!

"Uhhhh! Uhhhh! Uhhh!".  "Slash! Slash! Slash! Slash!". - Knowing I was in danger, I pulled out my dagger in order to cut the rope's loophole, but ended up fatiguing myself since I failed to do it!

However, everything seemed pointless since I realized this place looked like a big camp. Thinking for a short time, I finally concluded this must be the place I had been brought to when I was knocked out. The enemies had brought me here. I saw myself standing in an outdoor camp, with tents all around the place, men looked like Attenta soldiers were glancing at me.

I was panicked while trying to find the way out. I pointed my head all around the corners, checking everything I saw in my vision. Shortly I spotted some things that looked like wooden cages on the left side of the camp, those cages were holding women in there.

"Haahhhhh! Haahhhhh!".  "Thuds! Thuds! Thuds! Thuds! "Urrrrrgggghh!". - Some men started chasing me, I randomly sprinted to the cage area

Later spotted the women inside the cages seemed to be heavily abused. Bruises were all over their bodies, they were sitting and cowering in the cages, some lay in there as if they were exhausted. Running for a short time, I changed my direction to the right side. I kept sprinting and then spotted a bunch of things that looked like war spoils and weapons on the ground.

Those things had the exact shapes like the belongings of Warsaw Corps Army soldiers... that meant... I knew it now. The women who were jailed in those wooden cages were my own soldiers, they had been captured and jailed in there to serve the enemies.

"Urrrrrgggghh!".  "Ahhhh!". - An enemy bumped into me, I managed to dodge him, later I ran straight to the war spoils, attempting to save myself

I immediately grabbed the device, fastly pushed the power button to turn on her. When Advisor was on, she'd send the signal to John to let him know my exact location to save me. Holding the device, I kneeled while non-stop staring at her screen, waiting for the loading progress to be finished.

"Arrrrrggghhhhhhhhh!". - All of sudden, my belly was very hurt since someone kicked me

"Nooooooooooooooo!".  "Urrrrrgggghh!". - My face was kicked aside and I felt paralyzed, Advisor during that chaos, was kicked away, nowhere to be found

"Urrrrrgggghh...". - I was now completely paralyzed, dull and exhausted

Staying in this paralyzed body, I couldn't do anything but powerlessly let the enemies control me. Those men later dragged me away from the war spoils' position. They led me to the cage area, opening one as if to jail me in there alongside those women soldiers. When I was about to get in there, I managed to spot my Advisor, she was now lying on the ground, on the corner, far away from here. Many enemies walked past the device without noticing her...

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!". - Before I could see more, they threw me in the cage, later locked it, left me alone with these wounded women

"Hahhhhhh... haahhhhh...". - Gasping heavily while lying, paralyzed in my own body, I looked at a space from above, hoping, wishing...
