Challenges (3)

It was a little surprising for the young woman to suddenly offer to join us–but then again, it was expected because she was a lycan. The mentality to get along with the 'pack' and in this situation, Rose and I were her pack.

"Alright–"

Before I even finished saying a word, Keira already disappeared into the forest.

My eyes widened and I chased after her. "Kid! I mean–Keira, not so fast!"

I hadn't even changed the environment yet to not be hostile, but she was already rushing in without hesitation.

There was no carefree laughter or even a single sound.

As I stepped into the forest ground–a body of a deer came flying right past me.

Rose barely caught it with her wind.

"Woah." I remembered that Kael was fast, but Keira was just speed without alerting anyone.
