It was over. 

It almost felt like that… as Rose complimented Belle over her beautiful looks and Eleanor held hands with the Revenant, it almost felt like this would be the last time I would be seeing her.

An empty sensation drifted over my chest.

I was positive, almost a hundred percent sure that she was someone formerly from earth like me–but she had no interest in revealing her identity… and I respected that.

Even though I could see the bones from underneath the layer of her disguise and illusion, I chose to look at what she wanted other people to see.

The beautiful image she created for herself–it brought her peace and wasn't that what everyone wanted anyway?

Whether it was to be found on earth or here, peace and happiness was still the penultimate thing that most strove for.

And yet I could not be at ease like her.
