Arias’ Kindness Part II

“Does he think mages have eyes in the back of their heads? There’s a reason why we go beast hunting in groups-it’s so we can watch each other’s back.”

The students covered their mouths and whispered with troubled expressions. They furrowed their brows, feeling tense. It was nice and all, being taught by one of the most prominent mages in the kingdom, but these lessons of training also made them want to cry at the same time. When would Master Arias start using normal training methods to teach them?

“Maybe this kind of training is not appropriate for you.”

Arias quietly muttered as his gaze swept over the students contemplatively.

The students all sighed in relief. Finally, it looked like Master Arias was starting to relent. He must have begun to understand that there was a chasm between normal humans and a monster like him.

“Having too much time might cause you to start slacking off. Well then...in one week, I’ll come to see the result of your training.”
