What Stoker said came as quite a surprise to the mages from Bernier City, especially Farhan, who looked extremely displeased by what the man said. Everyone knew that the reason they came to Porius City was to have an audience with the king and ask him to punish the Fosso Clan. So who would ever imagine that the leader of the Fosso Clan would confront the duke and blatantly ask him to release the prisoners like this?

“Your people have committed a serious crime against my clan. You think we’re just going to let them go!?”

Farhan finally lost his temper. He looked extremely angry.

“This is a conversation between noblemen, and it doesn’t concern the likes of you.”

Stoker glanced at Farhan disdainfully, barely paying any mind to Farhan’s anger. For him, Farhan was just a lowly person, unworthy of his time and attention.
