Chapter 17: Power of Yin-Yang devour

Raiser first didn't find Gasper; he went to his room to freshen up. Then he remembered the hot spring in the mansion, so he decided to go there.

He took clothes to change and go to the hot spring. He took off his clothes in the dressing room and entered the spring.

As he was soaking in the spring, he heard a noise on his back.

"I don't know what he is thinking in his mind. He just gave them some random tasks to do all these days and went somewhere. He was wasting my peerage's training time. They didn't get any stronger, just became a lot weaker than before." Rias was complaining about the tasks he gave, while the rustling sound came from the dressing room, which meant she was removing her clothes to enter the spring.

When she entered the spring, she was shocked to see a platinum-blonde man with dreamy eyes staring at her. Captivated by the beauty in front of her, she forgets to cover herself, leaving her bare body to feast his eyes.

After a while, she regained her senses and shouted while trying to cover her body with the small towel, which was too short to do that, "Aaaaaa...Who are you? How do you get in?"

She asked without giving him a chance to speak.

"Your words hurt me very much, Rias. We didn't see each other for six days, how could you forget me, your Fiancé? It's very heartbreaking." Raiser said in a pitiful tone.

She didn't know why, but she readily accepted him as Raiser. Even though she knew he was acting, she felt hurt hearing his pitiful tone.

"You, keep your acting to yourself. Where are you all this time? What's with the training schedule you gave them? They all became weaker than their previous state." Rias once again started complaining to him.

"I heard your complaints when you were out, so don't repeat them. It may look like that right now, but it's just destroying their pre-laid foundations, and the true training will start tomorrow." Raiser said to Rias in a calm tone.

"What do you mean by destroying their foundation? It's the base of their strength. Destroying their foundation will weaken them, so you never want to train them. You only wanted to destroy our strength. You bastard." she roared in anger.

While they were at it, they heard a voice from outside.

"Rias, are you all right? Is there any problem?" the diligent queen of Rias, Akeno, asked from outside.

But before Rias could answer, Raiser answered.

"It's nothing, Akeno. We just had an unpleasant discussion regarding your training. All of you can return to your room to rest. We will meet tomorrow morning to discuss your progress and decide further. Inform the rest and send Gasper to my room after an hour. I will deal with his problem tonight." Raiser said without giving a gap for both the girls to talk.

Despite being shocked to know Rias was with a man in the bath alone and that too with Raiser, she quickly recovered and went to convey the message to the rest of the peerage and told Gasper to go to his room.

"What do you mean by solving his problem? It's his sacred gear that he can't control. It's impossible to resolve in a night," Rias said to Raiser in a displeased tone with a curious and doubtful look, fearing he may do it considering the unbelievable change he had undergone.

"It's not for you to worry, Rias. You will find the answer tomorrow. Now shut up and have a hot bath with me. It's very refreshing, and don't worry, I will not do anything to you till I win the rating game." Raiser said to Rias.

Rias hesitated but got into the and tried to be as far away from him as possible. After having a comfortable long bath, he got up and went to the dressing room. Previously, as much as she had wanted to be away from him, she wanted him to be in her eyesight, so she chose to be on his opposite side of the spring.

Now, being opposite of him has caused her a big blow. While Raiser got up, his perfect figure was open for display, making her subconsciously swallow her saliva, and her face became as crimson as her hair.

She was in that state for a while and only came to sense. By the time Raiser got to his room. She was ashamed of what happened and went to her and took a cold bath before going to sleep. Even in her dream, those thoughts tortured her from getting a wink of rest.

Raiser thought about what happened in the hot spring on his way to his room. Despite not being mature enough for her responsibilities, she was still cute and attractive.

After a long time, he found a woman other than his wife as beautiful. He didn't know whether it was because of his quest or because his wife had permitted him to have a limited number of women in his harem.

He decided to set this aside and focus on the task ahead. As he approached his room, he noticed a small figure trembling while attempting to knock on the door. Upon getting closer, the figure stopped. He repeated the same again and again.

As Raiser made his way towards Gasper from behind, the latter's body stiffened as he felt a presence on his back, and he turned around with mechanical slowness, almost as if he were a robot.

"Ex...excuse me, sir. Akeno told me that you will solve my problem tonight. If that's okay with you, you can help me. If not, there is no problem. I feel slowly improving after training." Gasper said in a fearful tone, fearing making him upset.

"No need. As I said, I will solve your problem today, and solving it will give me more benefit than you," Raiser said with a sly smile, sending shivers down Gasper's spine.

After that, Raiser grabbed Gasper's arm and dragged him into the room.

"Let me remind you that once we start, stopping the process in the middle is impossible, and there may be some discomfort," warned Raiser to Gasper.

"Okay, I am ready. I caused lots of problems for them. I want to get strong to make up for it." Gasper said with an assertive and brave face, but his trembling legs failed him.

"Good, let's start sitting on the floor."

Gasper sat on the floor, and Raiser got before him. He stretched his palm to his face and released a suction from his hand that seemed to suck Gasper's soul from his body.

While he felt the force, he heard a voice, "Um, it seems to be stronger than I anticipated. It looks like I will have a great meal after a long time," Hearing him talking about the meal, Gasper shivered while thinking if he was that meal.

I am the Evil King Balor who once dominated time and space, whoever you stop this at once." despite in an unfavorable situation the voice still arrogant.

"Even after being dead for a long time, you still have the nerve to talk in that tone before me. Good, you will be a good food for me."

Hearing Raiser calling him food, the voice shocked and shouted, "You, how dare you call me food. If I am at my peak, I will kill you before you can blink... ... ..." that voice talked nonstop till a small blob of light came out of Gasper's mouth.

"You, how did you take me away from his sacred gear? It was supposed to be impossible."

"That's not something a food like yourself should concerned about. Now, any last words before death." Raiser asked the voice with a tingle of mocking tone.

"You vampire-devil boy, save me. If he eats me, you will lose your powers and can't become as strong as you wish." Seeing he can't change Raiser's mind, he diverted his attention to Gasper.

"W...what?" Gasper was shocked by this revelation.

"Don't be fooled. You will not lose your power. You will only lose a part of it. Your time power will decline, and you will have your shadow power. I will also help you in that shadow power as compensation. Also this fool is the one interfering with your power and making it uncontrollable."

Raiser said to Gasper, and without giving him a chance to voice his doubts, he said to Balor, "I gave you a chance. You didn't cherish it, so get ready to die."

With that, he stuffed the blob of light into his mouth. He could have sucked it directly with his palm. He prefers putting it in his mouth so that he can taste it.

"Mm. It tastes sweet, with some spice mixed, and has an aged wine vinegar taste. After all, it's an Evil king's soul sealed in that sacred gear, pretty good.

[It is due to Yin-Yang Devour. When you devour something with it, It will break down the components of the skill, remove impurities, and make the skill return to its original and base form. Host has to train the skill to show its full power.]

"Wow, Yin-Yang Devour is much stronger and fearful than expected," Raiser said in a shocked tone.

"Wait, what Primordial cycle and what sealing," Raiser asked in a panic.

[As Host is Yin-Yang Phoenix, Time and Space manipulation will be sealed for the due time.]

"What! Then I did all that and got a great skill but only to be sealed, and I can't use it." Raiser wailed.

[Though Time and Space manipulation are sealed. Host got two compensation skills from which he got Time and Space manipulation.]
