"What are you doing?"

Arceus asked as he watched Kaido begin to transform.

"I'm going to have a chat with the old man Whitebeard. Worororo, I want to see if his fists are still as strong as they were back in the day. That guy isn't a fool; with this kind of information, he'll surely come knocking."

Whether Whitebeard discovered it or not, Kaido would find out once he met him.

But knowing Whitebeard as he did, Kaido knew the old man wouldn't remain indifferent. Rather than waiting here, it was better for him to take the initiative and seek Whitebeard out.

Izou and Fossa reported their findings upon their return.

"You mean, your brother seems to have been coerced into joining the Beasts Pirates?"

"Yes, Pops, I think Oden-sama might have..."

Izou didn't finish his sentence, but the smile on Whitebeard's face was gone. He wasn't foolhardy; in the New World, even pirates like Charlotte Linlin demonstrated intelligence when she was not having her fits.

Furthermore, unlike the other Emperors of the Sea, Whitebeard didn't shift all his daily affairs onto others. If Izou could think of it, so could he.

"Did that brat enter Wano Country..."

Whitebeard's final impression of Kaido remained at God Valley. Since then, they hadn't had any direct encounters. Meanwhile, he reminisced about Oden.

After their farewell, there had been no news from Oden. The news of Oden's return to Wano Country had come from Roger. Although he didn't know why Oden hadn't kept his promise to return, he respected his choice.

"Yeah, Pops, what happened to Oden and Izou's brother, we need to find out!"
