Mutated Spider

Kai is aware of the possible outcomes for his action at the central base. However, he just realized that in his lazy attitude toward the matters of his home have led to someone taking a dump in his backyard.

The Huo family are incompetent if they allowed something like this to happen, how is Kai supposed to make that place safe for his children?

He had never wanted to involve himself on the politics but if the guys he was silently nudging as the vanguards are this useless then he has to take over the post himself.

Just to make sure he can make them listen, he decided to upgrade June to a beast like form. That will make them stunned with awe and pee their pants in fear. If they are not intimidated by this, then he will go to war and chase them all out. Kai currently has 12 thousand robots in their natural form but he will get them covered with synthetic material soon enough and then he can even take over the base now that he can substitute the solar power with these zombie cores.

Kai finished his little project while the factory construction is also coming to a close, he even manufactured a sample of each product inside the newly constructed two factories to see if they are operational.

He now cultivates six hours space time every day to increase his strength. Increasing the number of followers is good but some battles require a more personal touch.

When the factory place was finally robbed of all the machines and stock, he took his army back to the space and flew off to the next destination.

The construction material place. This is where most real estate business order their supplies for construction. Kai will liberate it of its current stock. This task shouldn't take too long because they are just looting.

On the other side, the team going to get hospital supplies made it to the place. It is filled with zombies and some zombie animals. They had agreed that Tan Ru will be in charge of the entire operation. They had gotten the map of the hospital from Kai before so planning became easier.

The teams are separated, each leader and his or her team will tackle different parts of the hospital. There is medicine stock in the eight large storages and the two pharmacy in the hospital where patients take their prescriptions to get medication.

There are 20 people here which means there are 20 teams, ten will go to get the medicine stock. The rest will be taking over the task of looting every equipment they can come across. Especially the medical equipment.

They can see zombies approach through the robots and eliminating them is not a problem. The only thing that slowed them down is the task of digging out the zombie core which they decided to do after they have achieved their main objective.

However, a group of mutated spiders made their way toward the team that is on collecting hospital beds. There seems to be a whole on the wall, many half a meter sized spiders have crawled in. After half the hospital beds are loaded into the space ring, a nest showed itself.

Nuan Mo who is in charge of this place got so scared he screamed like a little girl. He got out and instructed the robots to slaughter them. What surprised him and the others is the loud shrieks made by the spiders. It penetrates into the mind and gives a pain so intense, the eyes and ears began to bleed. Nuan who was closest to the location became unconscious immediately.

One of the robots took him to the ground floor and guarded him. When everyone else came to meet up for rest, they were told by the robot of the events that led to his state. Not knowing how to deal with this they called Kai.

The next morning they helped those left behind to collect the hospital beds even though they are now splashed with mutated spider's green blood. Checking for the core on the spiders they found small crystals half the size of the zombie core with higher level of pure energy. They collected it all.

After this glitch, the operation went smoothly probably because not many zombies had evolved too much at this point. Kai came and found the man had experienced some sort of sound attack that was loud enough to affect his brain and eardrums. Of course the one to perform the diagnostic analysis was Phil.

Kai became interested in the materials left behind by the mutated zombie spiders. Instead of a normal spider webs there are hard silky threads that have mutated with the spiders. Kai decided to take them and see what will come of them after soaking them in the tree juice.

He took the man into his space for treatment. He then assisted in collecting all the remaining hospital stock into his space while they go to hunt zombies for their zombie core. To begin with they had wanted battle. So while Kai is looting the hospital of all its worth, they went to fight and hone their skills.

The group is now in a hurry to return because of the situation in the base. The worst case scenario is if the Huo family bands together with the other families to attack at this point. The 4000 soldiers he left behind will not be able to handle seven times their own numbers. Even robots need fuel.

The operation in the hospital took longer than expected but he collected everything even cleaning materials. The hospital is left with the furniture that is glued to the walls or the floor. The computers, chairs, cabinets were emptied and taken away. Nothing of use is left behind.

The upper floors of the hospital building had been housing a little over 600 survivors in several floors. It seems during the time when the virus broke out they ran upstairs and cut off the communication with the lower floors.

There must be many hospitals equipment up there but Kai told his group to leave it alone. If these people see them they will have to transport and feed them on the way to the base. Kai is not here to save people, he is here to take the hospital equipment.

Now that they have killed the tens of thousands of zombies in this place, the people upstairs can now leave this place or clean it up to make a base for themselves he doesn't care but he is not about to take on a burden of saving them.

Three days later the group entered space and left behind a hospital filled with dead zombie corpses. Kai flew off towards the base. When they were a few kilometers away he took out three trucks that have been filled with medicine and a few soldiers to ride them while he and three others drove fast runners that are reinforced towards the base.

The spectacle brought everyone's attention. When they reached the gate. Kai found himself surrounded by military officers. A man in full military uniform stood in front of Kai with a permanent sneer on his face.

"I am not going anywhere before my supplies are allowed to go through to my place. Sargent." Kai folded his arms and watched the man slowly get consumed by anger.

"Then you will die where you stand." Many soldiers took out their guns and pointed them to kai and his group.

"There are civilians here, do you want to start a gun fight in the middle of..." He hasn't finished when someone shot towards his shoulder. Kai saw the bullet and use two fingers to stop it. When the others saw this, they swallowed in fear.

Sighing, Kai released 2000 soldiers from his space who are all carrying laser guns. Soldiers are aware that those guns can shoot three times their own which means they are screwed.

"Kai Waters, what do you mean by this?" The one in charge on the other side asked with a frown. He heard what this boy unleashed on the Huo family when they tried to evict him from his home. Now they even gave him one of their daughters to marry.

"I am going to give you back the words you just said to me. Open those gates or I will get rid of you, all of you and take over this place." One look and anyone can believe his words.

"Who do you think you are?" The man became furious.

"The only reason you and those people are even allowed to loiter around me is because I couldn't care less about your business as long as you don't disturb me but here you are, disturbing me." Kai smiled a sinister smile and all the soldiers under his control raised their guns as if they communicated telepathically.

This scene is witnessed by many of the base leaders. "I just like being left alone. Can you do that? Can you leave me alone Sergeant Lu?"

The way he asked his question sounded eerie to all present. The man Kai is addressing became stunned that Kai knows his name. Of course Kai knows his name. He has a computer in his head.

"Well?" Kai asked again. The man just let him pass, he didn't dare delay Kai's business. In fact he had been told to bring Kai in using any means necessary. They didn't say Kai couldn't enter with his group. The gates are open and the three large trucks are allowed entry including the three fast runners. Everyone salivate seeing the beautiful cars that look tuff enough to handle bumpy roads.

Two people went to register and reported on the type of product they are transporting. When the clerk found out these people are only carrying medicine inside those large trucks she is surprised. Kai waited until his trucks and fast runners are driven into his territory before following the sergeant.

Kai's bodyguards are made to stay outside and wait for him. He is told they are not allowed inside. When he entered, many eyes fell on him. These must be the seven powerful families in the base.

One man looked at Kai with what seem to be contempt. He is very fat but the material of his clothes shows he is well off. "This is the man who locked his in laws out of their home? He is just a boy!"

Kai didn't seat and looked at all of them scanning for their identities in the database. When his reached a young man with red hair he paused because of what Phil said.

"His brain waves are transmitting parasitic waves. Phil said. "He is being controlled by someone using a supernatural power."

"Interesting." Kai thought before putting it behind him.

"Well, I am here, how may I help you fine gentlemen and lady." Kai asked the full room with his curious expression changing into a neutral one.

"You are not even going to sit?" A man in military uniform asked. Kai sighed and sat down.

"May I know what is it you all want with me?" Kai asked while looking at the people who seem to be measuring him as well.

"What an uneducated brat! This room is filled with distinguished figures. You are not polite at all and you didn't even greet. What can I expect from an orphanage upbringing?" The same man with a contempt expression said. He is even smirking now.

The room became quiet as everyone turned to see Kai seated with an unbothered look on his face. Under the long table though, a long line of crackling electric current traveled and reached the man.

This is the fourth level of lightning body. The electric current reached the men and quickly covered his entire body and the chair he is seated on turning all of it into dust. The smell of burnt meat filled the room instantly.

"Aaah"

"Ahh!"

The two closest people next to the man jumped up running away from the horrible scene. The others run towards the scene to see what happened. Kai and the man on the head seat remained the only ones seated. The man is lookin at Kai with narrowed eyes. Kai in response just smiles innocently.
