The rumors about the Haiga Mountain Range expedition had actually spread widely as the Malfa Family and the elves had all spread the word about Lin Li and his subordinates reaping benefits and taking advantages all the way from the Green Dragon cave to the Sky Castle. The main reason was because Elder Randy and the rest were very touched about Lin Li mustering the courage to sacrifice himself and save the elves at the end.
