Chapter 14 : Reinforcement

The Lieutenant's team including Lahap and Admiral Maskmana are en route to the transaction point.

"Captain's team is surrounded." Said Admiral Maskmana.

"We're clearly outnumbered. How do we help them?" Ask Ramenman.

"BAH! I can beat all of them with my strength." Said Lieutenant Forctis with confidence.

"I am well aware that you are strong, Lieutenant. However, it is possible that they might take hostage the Captain and my cadets. We cannot risk letting them get killed." Said Admiral.

Suddenly, they saw explosion from afar.

"That must be the place." said Admiral. "Get your weapon ready! Join the battle once we're there. Our objective is to get the orb back."

"Yes, Admiral." Said Rum, Ramenman and Lahap in unison.

At the battlefield, Kaizo, Axion and Captain Albi are still struggling to fight. They tried to attack Scrozux, but the mercenaries are on their way. Scrozux watch Axion fight. Noticing something familiar from her. Suddenly, an explosion came from an alley. They all look at the source of explosion. Smoke filled the slum.

Ramenman jumps into the battlefield and make his way towards Axion.

"Sorry we're late. You wait long?" Said Ramenman. Making a flashy entrance.

"You're right on time." Axion replied.

"Axion, can you hear me?" Ask Admiral from the communicator.

"Loud and clear, sir." Said Axion.

"I need you to clear the buildings from shooters with Rum and Lahap. Leave the enemy on ground to us." Said Admiral.

"Understood!" Said Axion.

The smoke starts to dissolve. Zaroro notice a figure at the mouth of the alley.

"No way" Zaroro mumbled.

From the alley, Admiral Maskmana stand.

"SCROZUX! THROW ME THE ORB NOW!!" Zaroro yelled.

But before Scrozux can respond, Admiral Maskmana shoot Scrozux hand. The orb falls and rolled on the floor. The orb travel around the battle field, getting kicked by mercenaries who are fighting.

"THE ORB!" Lieutenant Forctis yelled.

Kaizo's team looked around for the orb as they fight back.

"STOP! You fool! Forget those Astraeus lot! Find me the orb." Said Zororo in frustration.

Some mercenaries stopped fighting and start to look for the orb. Kaizo get a glimpse of the orb. He tried to run towards the orb. But Scrozux attack him. Kaizo dodge the attack. They clash swords.

"The orb is mine." Scrozux growl.

The battle field is in chaos. The orb keeps rolling and neither Astraeus team or Zaroro's team are willing to stop fighting.

Suddenly, Zaroro laugh. "FINALLY!!" He yelled, stopping everyone from fighting.

Zaroro raised the orb in his hand as he laughs.

"The orb! When did he...?" Captain Albi mumbled.

"Hahahaha. You see? The orb finally in my hand. This must be destiny. I am fated to be the strongest man in the galaxy." Said Zaroro.

"Return that orb at once!" Said Lieutenant Forctis.

"You people of Rubrum are fools. You kept this Orb for many centuries. But none of you know how to use it." Said Zaroro. He pries open the back of the orb..

"What are you doing?!" Said Captain Albi. Shocked, watching Zaroro unlocking the orb.

"BEHOLD!!! The power of God!" Zaroro yelled.

A red light flashes. Covering the whole slum area. Bit by bit, Zaroro's body changed. His muscle grows and his body got bigger. He throws away his cloak, revealing an armor with a hole in the chest. He put the orb on his chest. His armor clutched the orb tightly.

"Wha- what's going on?" Captain Albi mumbled.

Zaroro laugh like a maniac.

"Finally.... " He sneers. He looked at Ramenman who stand not far from him.

"RAMENMAN! EVADE!" Axion yelled.

Zaroro swing his punch towards Ramenman. Captain Albi jumps to the front and stomp his shield on the ground. Zaroro punch the shield with full force. They both got thrown back.

"Arrgghh...." Both Captain Albi and Ramenman groan.

Rum jumps out from a window and land in front of Zaroro. Only to get punched and get thrown too.

"RUM!!" Axion exclaimed. She hurriedly run towards Rum and use her magic to lessens the pain.

"How...?" Lieutenant Forctis mumbled.

"The orb is... A power shpere?!!" Said the Admiral.

"The orb of Valor is a sixth generation power sphere that enhance the user's strength. That's why Rubrum's ancestors are strong. But now, I have its power in my hand." Said Zaroro. He continues to laugh.

Kaizo pull his sword and attack Zaroro.

"ENERGY SWORD!" Kaizo yelled.

He swings his sword at Zaroro. But Zaroro stop his sword with his hand. Everyone shocked.

Zaroro hold the sword and crush it with his hand. He throws a punch at Kaizo.

"ENERGY WALL!" Kaizo yelled.

Zaroro's punch break the energy wall into smithereens. Kaizo fell to the ground.

Lahap shoot Zaroro. But again. Zaroro ward it with his hand. Admiral Maskmana stand into position.

Axion use her google to scan the power sphere.

Strengthbot, gives the user ability such as:

Super Strength: The ability to move heavy object over 200,000 tons.

Enhanced Leaping: could leap over an 8th of a mile or over a tall building.

Super Durability: Highly resistant to firearms.

"Becareful!" Said Axion. She sent the power sphere details to all member.

"Team! Get into formation!" Said Admiral Maskmana

Kaizo, Rum, Lahap, Ramenman and Axion get into position. Captain Albi and Lieutenant Forctis join beside Admiral Maskmana.

"Stand back. Let me finish them myself." Said Zaroro. Telling the mercenaries to stop firing.

Mercenaries cheers louder. Their laughter echoes through the empty buildings around them.

"How can we defeat him?" Rum asked.

"Any plan?" Ramenman add.

"The source of his power is the power sphere. Without it, he won't be strong. We need to pull Strengthbot out of his armor." Said Admiral Maskmana.

"Understood!" Said Kaizo's team in unison.

Rum, Lahap and Axion begin shooting to distract Zororo. Once they stop shooting, Ramenman and Kaizo comes from the right and left sides. Zororo fend off Ramenman and Kaizo's attack easily. They both jump to the side. Revealing Axion who attack from Zaroro's front. Axion put all her magic into her sword. Excitement filled her heart. She smirks as she swings her sword. Zaroro use his arm as a shield. Fending Axion's sword before it cut his head. He got pushed back a bit by Axion's power. Zaroro slightly stagger. Axion jump back and looked at Zaroro in confidence.

"I thought the plan was taking Strengthbot. Not cutting his head off." Said Admiral through the communicator.

"Sorry. Got a bit carried. It's exciting to see if I can overcome Strengthbot's power with my own ability." Said Axion.

The Admiral sighed. "Axion...." He rebukes.

"I know. I understand." Said Axion.

Both Captain Albi and Lieutenant Forctis join the attack. They all Attack Zaroro in turns. But none of their attack hurts him.

The Merchants cheered.

"Astraeus... Station of strong space ranger. I-I... will be the first... to crush you... and build my name... as the first man... who beat Astraeus." Said Zaroro. Trying to catch his breath in between his sentences. He looked very tired.

Suddenly, Zaroro fall on his knee and his body size begin to turn back normal.

"Wh-what...?! What happened?!" Said Zaroro as he looked at his hands in confusion.

The merchant's murmur in wonder.

Axion try to scan Zaroro and Strengthbot.

"Strengthbot is draining his stamina rapidly. He doesn't have any stamina left." Said Axion.

Zaroro tried to activate Strengthbot again. But he's too tired. Captain Albi walks towards Zaroro.

"It's over! Give The Orb back!" Said Captain Albi as he points his sword at Zaroro's face.

"You think I would give in so easily?!" Zaroro sneer.

Suddenly, Zaroro pull out his gun and shoot at Axion. Captain Albi jump to cover Axion by reflex.

Zaroro looked at his mercenaries. "GET THEM!!!"

Mercenaries swarm them again. Preventing them from retrieving Strengthbot and capturing Zaroro. Zaroro crawl, trying to sneak back to his ship.

"Computer!. Get me out of here." Said Zaroro through his communicator. Trying to get his spaceship computer to pick him up.

Captain Albi glanced at Zaroro. "ZARORO! You won't get away!" He yelled.

Captain Albi tried to chase Zaroro, but mercenaries keep coming. The rest of Astraeus member tried to chase Zaroro. But the big number of mercenaries make them unable to chase him. Zaroro's space ship appear on the sky. A pillar of light falls on Zaroro. Teleporting him into his spaceship.

"We're losing him!" Said Lieutenant Forctis as he keeps fighting mercenaries.

Zaroro's spaceship rumble. Soon, his spaceship fly fast. Leaving Astraeus rangers and mercenaries in a chaotic battle.
