An Empire in another World

A whistle, disrupting the birds twitching a beautiful melody, echoed through out the whole forest. It was the beginning of a uprising storm that started its legend, here!

In a clearing, between the deep and thick trees, bigger than even whole buildings, was a young boy standing. He wasn't wearing anything spectacular, only the bare minimum.

From tight pants to a leather like shirt. His deep black hairs were slightly covering his eyes as he tried to regain his lost vision.

"Eh-Whe-Where am I?" My mouth tried forming the words as I spoke, but unable to even say anything I stuttered. I had never ever seen such a mystical place. The trees infront of me were radiating a mysterious aura, making me lose any aggression in my mind.

"Is this a TV Show? Am I getting pranked?!"

I shouted loudly, hoping that someone would suddenly burst in and solve this problem, but no one came, even after five minutes of waiting.

I decided to discover the area and so I took one big step after another, entering the dark forest, trees were letting no sunlight past their leaves, so everywhere was pure darkness.

I was sweating, if not panicking. This was like in all these horror movies, were the prey would enter the forest alone, and then be hunted by the monster or killer. Of course, this wouldn't happen. … right?

I grabbed a large stick, holding it like a weapon. Something was still better than nothing I guessed. After walking for over an hour, I could finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. Another clearing was right in front of me, wait… wasn't that… the same one?

"Did I really just walk around in a circle?" I had really wasted my effort for something so ..

"Kss Kss"

Something was inside this bush! Near one of the tallest trees I could find, a bush as big as myself, made some rushing noises.

"Whoever you are! Get out of there now!"

"Grr!"

A loud growl came back, and not long after a huge beast, flinching it's huge teeth, was staring at me. I could see him getting into an attack pose, ready to jump at me any time.

Shit! Why would something like such appear here? Now I was sure this wasn't a show, but reality! Although this thought answered some of my questions, It wouldn't really help me if die.

[ Host is in a Dangerous Situation! ]

[ Activating the Novice Reward ]

One after another, messages appeared infront my eyes, they were just like the Interface Screens in the VR Game I had played for weeks. Of course I knew what that meant! I had transmigrated, the dream of any otaku.

take over his nest! ]

[ Do you wish to accept the Quest? ]

Well, if I wouldn't accept? What would happen? There weren't any consequences, maybe I could escape this fight, without having to use my own hands.

„No!"

„A hidden Mission?"

Great! I would have to do the same thing but would receive more than double the rewards. Now back to this monster. I turned back, staring at the huge wolf with sweat on my face. This could kill me. I mean really kill me!

„Come you little shit!"
