Something, for everyone, just be ready, for the darkness holds some terrifying things
It was dark, so dark that it was dreadful. Their was a looming presence over a innocent individual. This individual, lightly colored green, was tripped on a wire. In electrical, this innocent person was looking around fearful, having cracked their helmet slightly. They wouldn't die immediately, well they wouldn't die at all from a lack of oxygen for the ship was filled with it, but they had to seal it up as they frantically scrambled around. They were trying to find something in the dark, which was rather dumb. Suddenly they heard the vent pop up, and a feminine whimper escaped their throat. Light Green was a girl, and she was all alone. Her hunter, lurking within the shadows, seeing everything as though the lights were on, approached Light Green. They were cold when near Light Green, and as they got on top, they stabbed her with a knife. She screamed in pain, but fear soon washed over as multiple jabs of the knife could be quietly heard. Around the corner, was no one. No one was near.
the nearest person, after some time that is, was brown, who was slowly making his way to electrical. He had a flashlight, lucky enough that he was the technician of the ship. He rounded the corner into electrical, coming from storage. He only heard the slight hint of a vent being used, and avoided doing lights. He rounded the corner of the generator that would fix lights, and found Lime, or Light Green, stabbed in multiple places, dead on the floor. She looked horrified, he also heard the scream. It filled him with dread, for what he saw wasn't just a murder, it was the darkest humor he had ever seen. He reported it, and how he did it was first he went to the light panel, quickly did it with fear rising in his throat. After sometime, he got the lights back up and running. Then he ran, bumping though into Purple, who was knocked back by Brown, also knocking himself and Purple down in the process.
"Braxton, what the hell?!" Brown only shushed Purple, and grabbed her hand as he ran to cafeteria. He only dragged her along, while she exclaimed. "Braxton, calm down, and let me go! What's going on?!" Suddenly pressing the report button, Brown watched as everyone came to the center table of cafeteria. Everyone was confused, before brown spoke through sobs.
"Rochelle's dead...! In electrical..." Everyone gasped, she was the nicest one on this ship, and it took them all by surprise. Black was the first to pipe up.
"Where in electrical?" Brown didn't answer, so Black went off a he let Brown calm down. It was a morbid thing to hear, and even worse to possibly see it. Brown was a prankster, but the crying they all heard was not fake. So Black went through storage, and down into the hallway leading into electrical. He had been cautious, treading lightly as to be safe. When he entered electrical, he didn't see the body immediately. So he rounded the corner of the rectangularly long generator that led to the light panel, and sure enough, Lime, Rochelle specifically, was dead. Multiple wounds, all in the belly of her stomach. Black's name was Thomas, and Thomas just clenched his lower jaw as he knelt down and checked for vitals. If she was alive, it'd be a miracle, but sure enough, she was dead. Rochelle, a sweet angel from the heavens, a close friend of Pinks, or Cheryle. Cheryle would be seen still with the group, crying and sobbing while Black dealt with the body. He was the doctor, one of two that is, that being Thomas, or Black. Cyan, who had been a distant one, also named Crystal, was twiddling with her thumbs. She seemed paranoid, like she knew something, and she didn't look like she wanted to tell.
To start introductions off, Black and Cyan were a quarrel ground, same with Red and Blue. Blue was Rachel, close friend of Rochelle like Pink was. The triangle, whom Pink, Blue, and Lime were apart of, had been struck, one of it's fragile points, by chaos and death. Now it was only a line, between two, while those two on the line were being comforted. Cyan wasn't the type to show emotions well, even with the awkwardness she showed. She was a mixed mess, and only Black knew how to comfort her as Red only knew how to calm Blue, or Rachel. It was a sad thing, one of twelve crewmates were dead. This was their first death, after their third mission, everything seemed possible. Now things had taken a slight turn for the worst, but what the killers didn't expect, was for Black. He was something, weird, for he wasn't normal. Nor was white, they had more than three impostor's on board the ship.
Now all taking off their helmets, White took control "Now, we have an impostor on here who's bent on killing others, while Black take's care of Rochelle, I'll lead the way in our darkest hour. Brown, did you see anyone else there?" Brown shook his head, covering it as he whimpered. White came over and patted him on the back, White was trusted, unlike most Impostors. He established himself as a leader for a reason, and was currently reforming on being a bad guy to a good guy. Black came back with Rochelle's body, and set her down to the side as he sighed. He couldn't resuscitate her easily, she was barely breathing. How he did it, no one but White and Cyan knew that. White was a loner, being the leader of the group had its perks, but he found no love like Red and Blue or Black and Cyan. When Black returned though, Cyan ran and hugged him. She was always worried, but she was always bright, even now. Though after a few seconds, she let go because she blushed in embarrassment.
"Sorry, I was just worried." Black only chuckled, and hugged her softly back as he enjoyed her company. She was also a bright one amongst the crew, and now having Rochelle, Lime, back made everything better, but this also dismayed the killer. Their mood, in general being everyone, was lightened somewhat, but the murder still happened, meaning someone was out to kill them all. But with two impostors on the humans side, this would be a piece of cake, or so thought cyan and black as they shared a special bond. Other than that, everyone began discussing, on who did this, who could validate who, and so on and so forth. Time went by and no one was caught or found guilty. Everyone was too valuable, even the securities were valuable as they protected two key points and had no tasks! They could easily be the impostor, but they rarely ever moved, seen on cams that is. Now was the time to get the rest of tasks done, as discussion finished, with no one to vote, everyone went their ways in pairs. Black and Cyan went their own way, left of the table to medical with Lime's body. It would be awhile, but they'd figure out who done it, and making the kills for whoever this impostor was got harder. Resuscitation!?! they don't even have medical equipment!!
Time would pass everyone by slowly, and suddenly, the lights had finally gone out again. Whoever this killer was. they were really fond of the dark. White and Black patrolled the rooms, being able to see clearly without a hindering factor at all. They patrolled for some time, but found nothing in their search. Everyone was working while Brown got to work on lights. The panel this time was a bit dented, like someone took their anger out on it. It wasn't that bad, but it showed superhuman strength was all. Which scared Brown, and only made him more nervous as he did his thing. Once everything was fixed though, he turned around and immediately left. But the doors locked, and he was trapped by himself. No one knew where he was, since he didn't tell anyone. Most people would properly figure out that it was him that fixed lights. Eventually the doors opened, and White was waiting outside for Brown. Brown only smiled, and friend hugged White as White didn't know how to react.
"Thank you for coming to check up on me Connor, your too sweet." White, not knowing how to respond, stood their emotionlessly as he checked around. The new crewmates were the security people, but they did once have a Third Impostor. That was awhile ago and most of the time that Third Impostor never talked to anyone. He was the weird guy in any situation, but never suspicioned by anyone to be an Impostor. They hadn't seen them since they transferred, but they never gave the identity out of that individual. They would keep him a secret, maybe he was onboard, secretly doing things, but who knows. Only one way to find out, by checking in on everyone. So White did his tasks, even if he was an Impostor. After all that time went by, nothing but weapons was left. He expected Orange to be there, since he was the main guy. But he found no one, and only Yellow, who was working on the sticks rotary pin, could be seen.
"Where's Oliver, Alexis?" This made Yellow raise her helm up to see White, and she only smiled under her helmet as she silently pointed in the direction of Orange went. She pointed to cafeteria, making it simple that Orange must be done with his task of clearing any asteroids in the way. Why did she not talk may one ask, well, she's mute. Which made it hard yes, but she was able to get along nicely with the other crew without her voice. She always wished she could have it, but sadly she didn't. Upon quickly transferring to cafeteria, White looked around, and sure enough, he saw Orange sitting and eating. He had his helmet off, showing off his dark orang-y hair. he had dyed it to match his suit, for he wanted to feel at home with himself. Plus Oliver, Orange, was in love with the color Orange. Other than that he was a normal guy. Cyan though, she had her haired dyed pink with purple striped in between. It was a beautiful mixing of the two colors, and helped show her persona as a being. She was in med bay though, helping Black tend to Lime with careful thoughts. They worked hard, wanting to make sure that Lime didn't die a second time. For if that happened, it would be worse than the last time. And as the night approached by the clock's short hand, everyone heard the rapid beep and PA speak out.
"Attention All Crewmates, it is bedtime, please head to your stationary quarters and get some rest. Goodnight, and sleep tight." The PA system then shut off, and the ship deactivated lights as everyone headed off. Black stayed for awhile in med bay, for he didn't want anything bad to happen to Lime. But as he waited, and waited, and waited, he grew more tired as the night dragged on. Soon he was barely awake, so he entered his quarters, which was beside the med bay scan as he left Lime be. Cyan had left long before hand, wanting to catch up on her rest. Lime only started to stir, and only wondered where she was.
As she tried to rise though, she felt a hand cover her mouth as something sharp was pressed against her neck. She felt fear instantly take her, and she wide eyed stared at the sudden figure above her. She could see two glowing red eyes, and a rather wide grin from the poor light that was still around. She couldn't do much, for she was so weak she couldn't properly move. So she laid there, whimpering as she raised her arm, and put her right hand on the hunter's left upper arm. She softly gripped, while tears softly flowed from her eyes. She didn't want to die, and as the hand removed itself from her mouth, she felt a pair of lips connect with hers.
Why didn't the imposter kill her, what were they thinking, what was processing through their mind. After a long debated wait, the hunter let go, and disappeared as Lime was left breathlessly awake. A trail of love left her lips, even if she was scared, she was kind of a freak. She had her own kinks to her, she was the more open of the group of 12 aboard this ship. She though happily dozed off, sleeping peacefully knowing that she was still alive. She only though felt for her neck before she dozed off, feeling a thin lined cut on her neck. It wasn't severe, but Black would definitely be asking tomorrow what happened. She decided she wouldn't tell, no matter how hard she was pried at.
-------Time-Skip-------
Day came by quickly, and so quickly that it seemed like time didn't pass at all. Lime had been up early, even after what she had been told, been through, and experienced. Black woke minutes after her, and came to be surprised as he checked up on her. When he did his medical exam though, she seemed healthier than a fiddle. So he cleared her and gave her pain meds for any signs of unknown pain. When she took the bottle he reassured she was more safe than she could ever know, and she felt it just from the cold doctor's aura. The Doctor, Black, was always cold, for he didn't know how to connect, but at times, he was really good at it! Other than that Lime left, and pondered on who almost, but didn't, kill her last night. Was it a boy, a girl, the texture of the lips screamed a boy, but women can be hard workers too. Though women take care of their image more, men can do the same and vice versa. It was all a guessing game for her, and all Lime could do was do her task. She did it very well, and was rather advanced for an engineer or Specialist of O2. She only settled for the simple job though, for she could've been a nuclear engineer. But she thought of the risks that nuclear engineering brought. Which were many, making her opt out sadly. But she chose nicely, for it was a simple life, and she trusted everyone aboard. It was just a crazy thing, that's all. Now, time to do O2, then the lights when out. At only 5:27 A.M.!
